Hello, friends. I apologize for the long absence; some stupid germs got to me and I had some major tests going on to boot. I may still be a little inactive, but once summer rolls around I'll be posting more.
What a calming view! Can you guess where I took this screenshot? |
Ahh, how fast spring has passed us by! Now, jammers are bringing out their long since hidden summer items and buying new summer dens. Speaking of which, your buddy has just invited you to a beach party at their new, expensive den. You happily agree to go.
When you arrive, however, you find that the water is still uncomfortably cold, and the fruit from which the fruit punch was made is still sour. Taking a seat on the blindingly white, plastic flight of stairs, you brood over how jammers tend to try to force seasons into changing before they're ready. As you gaze out onto the small body of shimmering, turquoise water, you notice a glass bottle. Huh. Would you look at that? There seem to be some pieces of paper inside!
A radical piece of art by SuperMarshMellowz. I love how you've included every piece of her outfit. The dark background helps for the character and the text to stand out.
Some lovely fanart of Snowyclaw by Tailsthefox81011! The style in which this is drawn is rather interesting. And I just have to point out that the greenish glow reminds me of those weird blackboards at the doctor's or dentist's office where if you touch them they turn green. Does anyone know what I'm talking about??? xD
A rather interesting type of drawing, depicting a badger, sent in by Dolphinrider8910. The way you drew the character in a square reminds me of AJ's blocky style. It's very unique and recognizable.
A few lovely pieces of brightly-coloured, spring-themed pieces of art sent in by Emily Rose Pika/LightningBluetooth (sorry if I'm getting your username wrong... I wasn't sure what to credit you as.) I love the way the red on the Scarlet Tanager contrasts well with the green background, making it "pop." And that phantom is so adorable! Its limp tentacles and angered eye reflect its annoyance.
To conclude this post, we have some awesome pieces sent in by lucykate651! The first piece is all-around cute, drawn in a chibi style. I love the how the water grows darker as we near the bottom in the second picture: this adds to an atmosphere of foreboding. And finally, we have an animated gif. I love how you've animated the head and tail.
