Dazzling Dens: AJHQ's Greely's Hideout

Hey jammers! It seemed like a few of you wanted me to do a den tour of Greely's Hideout, so here we are!

Before we begin, I want to let you all know that I'm going to be using pictures like the one above. Since Greely's Hideout is a large and complex den, I have a picture below this text for reference, so you know where I am in the den. Ok, ready? Let's start!

It's Time for a Contest!

Ciao, jammers! Bonsaii here! It's finally time for the annual AJS Writing Contest!

Woohoo!

Graham's Workshop Guide!

Ciao, Jammers! Bonsaii here! A whole bunch of you in the comments were enthusastic about a Graham's Adventure Guide. Here it is~

Silk Scarf and More Adventure Drafts

Hey jammers!  I believe that Jam Con has just concluded a couple of hours ago!  How was it, to anyone who went?

Today's new item is the Silk Scarf, sold in Jam Mart Clothing!

This has a very smooth design...

I like the idea, but the actual product...  Is it just me, or does AJHQ seem to be making the same items with different names?  I feel like maybe this item could have more highlights, to make it look like silk.  Maybe different patterns versus random colors.  Maybe I'm just crazy... XD

Ring Of Fire and Final Episode of Jamaa Legends?

Hey jammers! Apologies for the crazy late post, I fell asleep right in the middle of it. It wouldn't be good to fall asleep in the middle of this new item. Always pay attention when playing with fire.

It BURNS BURNS BURNS, the ring of fire.

Sometimes I wish that our animals could interact with some of these den items! Perhaps a certain animal would cause a "play" button to present, and the tiger would jump through the ring in a blaze of glory.

Snowmen, Jingles, Hot Cocoa, and a Holiday Den

Hey jammers! Sorry to be so absent this semester, it has been a tough school year for little old me. ^.^' Remember, if you would like to become an author or submit articles for the blog simply email me at animaljamspirit@gmail.com. Todays new item looks to be the classic Snowman, sold in Jam Mart Furniture, and possibly the Jamaaliday Jingle sold in the Diamond Music Shop as well.

I have a hard time keeping track of all these new items now that I'm in and out of Jamaa less frequently. I need to visit more often!! Speaking of visiting often, it's quite necessary during the holidays due to the daily prizes, and today is certainly one you don't want to miss.

Egyptian Papyrus Scrolls + Bunny Claw

Hey jammers! The Egyptian Papyrus Scroll is the newest item to the Egyptian Treasure Den set in Jam Mart Furniture, whist the Bunny Claw arrives in the Diamond Shop!

I love the Egyptian Treasure theme in Jam Mart Furniture; the Diamond Encrusted Armor set in the Diamond Shop really goes well with the new Den set! Be sure to make an Egyptian outfit to fit in with your Den!

Hey jammers! This is snowy, and I'm back from being my silly sick version of myself. I like this version much better... Just silly. ^-^ ANYwho, update time! First things first, our new item of the day...

A Liza Portrait, sold in Jam Mart Clothing. Just in case you don't see her face around Jamaa enough. I swear, I see her floating head everywhere... I'm not crazy!!! Maybe just a little bit. But now, let's turn over to the main feature of this lovely update, the OTTERS!

Hey jammers! Another late post, but I have two tests down, only three more to go. /).(\ Welp, I think I got almost seven hours of sleep last night, a new record! How much sleep do you need to function?

Oh my goodness, it's the Sunken Greely Tiki Statue! It seems he and Peck heard the same joke, cause that goofy-grin-with-tounge-sticking-out pose is quite reminiscent of Peck's shenanigans. Perhaps the two of them are getting along better now! Speaking of Alphas though...

AJ Lore – Story of Jamaa

For our first post on Jamaa's forgotten history, I have a rendition of the classic story of the beginning. the Story, in fact. As with any good story, it's a little different upon each retelling. So let us begin...

For every world, dimension, and universe there exists a story of how it came to be. Sometimes there are many stories, and sometimes there is just one. Our Jamaa is of the latter kind, and our one story has been passed down for generations by those who treasure the mystery it holds. And I'm here to tell it to you today...

La Salle the Explorer

Welcome to the first story-behind-the-alpha! This report is for La Salle, the raccoon alpha, brought to you by Goldcobra! For those who love historical references, this is sure to be a treat. Enjoy!

Full screen is best viewing!

And here is AJHQ's post on the Daily Explorer!

What did you think of the anthem? Is it a successful project? Should I do another contest like it? Happy jamming everyone!

Raccoon Alpha and Sidkix!

Hey jammers! Today's an exciting day in jamaasian culture news, because AJHQ has continued to bring named alphas to Jamaa! Can you believe our movement last summer has changed so much?

Yay, nonmember statue!

Welcome to Jamaa LaSalle! Now, some may think this is a strange name for a raccoon, but he seems to have been named after the French explorer, René-Robert Cavelier, sieur de La Salle. He journeyed to the New World (North America) looking for the mouth of the Mississippi River, and claimed Louisiana in the name of King Louis XIV. Adventurous and curious, sounds like a raccoon!

In other news, iPod4276 discovered a picture of some very interesting plushies, ones that aren't for sale quite yet!

Wow, what an array! Which one do you think is your favorite? When do you think AJHQ will start to sell them? Anywho, here's today's Daily Explorer post about the EDW, by AJHQ.

Lastly, my second Spirit Mail video, posted below.

I think I'll have to do another one tomorrow, I ran out of time!

Thank you for all the Jam-a-Grams, hope to see you in Jamaa.

Happy jamming!

Royal Cape and Phantom

Hey jammers! Today's new item is the Golden Royal Cape, sold on the front page of the Epic Wonders clothing orb.

Yikes, pricy! Do you like golden items? The rare hat of the day is the Rare Phantom Hat, from the long ago Leap Year Party.

AJHQ has also put up the article about yesterday's Rare Fancy Top Hat, if you'd like to give it a quick read.

I noticed yesterday was very chaotic comment wise. ^.^ The post yesterday was just to explain what the group Anonymous is, I just wanted to clear up false rumors. If there is anyone worrying you in the comments, I'm sure they are just making things up to be rude, ignore them. Like in Jamaa, if you ignore a mean jammer they go away. Problem solved!

Kielessa sent in a picture of Graham's, the monkey shaman's, featuring ad. Does he look any different than his shaman self to you? And can anyone guess what that thing on his wrist is for?

Frozen Bush

Hey jammers! Today's item is the Frozen Bush, for sale in Jam Mart Furniture. If you change the color the leaves change!

I wonder when we'll get some new or returning clothing items. As a side note, here's an adorable picture of Peck, the rabbit alpha, on an Animal Jam ad. Cool right? Snapshot by Kielessa!

How similar does her shaman and alpha forms look? Which do you like better? See you around Jamaa, happy jamming!

Clovers and Crazy Plants

Hey jammers! Today's item is the Upside Down Pot, sold in the New Year's Party 2013. It was originally sold at the wacky April Fools Party in 2012 (notice the very strange gem price).

As you might have heard, the Clover Table was yesterday's new item. It was last sold in 2012's Lucky Day Party.

Also, Kielessa spotted a neat Animal Jam ad featuring Greely, the wolf alpha! What do you think of his newer look?

Which do you like better? Why? Happy jamming everyone!

Side note... For some reason I'm not able to change font on the blog, has anyone encountered this issue before? What do I do? Also, I was wondering, does that ad over there bother you guys a ton? I don't want it to take away from the blog. >.<

Mystery New Year Item

Hey jammers! Seems we have another mystery item at the New Year's Party 2013. Send in a picture when you see it!

Hmm, maybe an upside down potted plant, a clover table, or a hat and wig! Anywho, here's today's Daily Explorer post.

Fun artwork! Count Desertstone sent in this picture of an ad that AJHQ has made (to be shown on other sites).

Isn't it cool how they're using the alphas more? I just hope AJHQ starts using them in the game more. Perhaps some quests, legends, or maybe we could even meet them. What do you think?

Jamaaldiays and Sir Gilbert

Click here for the full Jamaa Journal!

Hey jammers! Let's jump straight into today's Jamaaliday update. Today's new clothing item is the Reindeer Mask!

Today's new furniture item is the adorable Stocking!

Both are available in their respective Jam Marts! Today's daily item is the Winter Window, returning from last season.

This update is again, all about the Jamaaliday season.

They include some reminder posts from last update.

There is a fun new feature in Tierney's Aquarium, the Monterey Bay Open Sea Cam, here are the articles.

You get to see footage from an undersea camera! It's actually very beautiful and calming, see what you can spot!

There is also some news about the daily gifts and the upcoming year of 2013. Can you believe its almost here?

Also, the Alpha description of Sir Gilbert, previously known as the tiger shaman, have been published on the DE.

I really like his description, but what do you guys think? AJHQ also posted a cool Jamaaliday/Snow Leopard wallpaper.

Finally I leave you with this update's calendar and double gems.

Happy jamming everyone, see you around Jamaa!
