Hey jammers! Lot's of little things around Jamaa that I'm mentioning. First is the codes, treat (100 gems), phantoms (500 gems), and feast (500 gems). Next up is the winning of the ocean pet poll - the Seahorse! It is a very fun (and likely) choice for the oceans' first pet, and we already know what it'll probably look like!
It won't come for another couple updates, but that's alright! Next poll will be about future creatures in Jamaa, ocean and otherwise. There will be no turtle vote, because the turtle is the next creature!
I'm am also going to send a letter to AJ HQ for a ideas about the future of Jamaa. Comment with your best ideas and I'll send them in a mass email! Thanks jammers!
And finally, the Gift Cards! As many know the gift cards are now in Jamaa, here is a picture of one of my buddy's lion:
The lion doesn't have to be named "King of the Jungle" but many leave it at that. This is how it works - you go to the store, you buy a gift card, you type in the code from the back onto the AJ website, choose a gift option, and presto! You now have a lion. There may be more ways to get a lion, later on. Read the article in the Jamaa Journal:

ReplyDeleteQuestion 1: Yes. You can use the Animal Jam gift cards again. But you will have to go to a store where they sell them and buy another one. They aren't renewable, because each of the codes that you scratch out on the back are unique. Once one code is used on the back of a card, it can't be used again.
Question 2: I'm not sure why Animal Jam is making their codes unlock different amounts of gems. And I'm also not sure why some people have been unlocking the same codes, but getting different amounts than others. Personally, I wish Animal Jam Headquarters wold just go back to normal, like before when each code only unlocked 1,000 gems. (I like how some of the codes unlock items, though. I'm fine with that, just I don't like the varying amounts of unlockable gems.)
Question 3: LOL. That is random. :P Did you make sure you spelled her name with no spaces, capital S for Silver and capital S for Spear? And why did you just make the assumption she's a member? Not everybody is a member, and if they are not showing up as a member, it probably means that they are not a member, unless you accidentally typed their user name incorrectly... xD.

You don't lose your lion or the gems (unless you spent them all :P) you got from your Gift Card. It's just in storage. And the fun part is...once you become a member again, you still can be your lion! I got my Lion Gift Card for Christmas, and I still have it to this day!
