Hey jammers, welcome to the first Ask Snowyclaw post! xD As self centered as it sounds, I wanted to make a post about the fact that I have very little time to comment on normal posts. This post is different, however. This post is simply for you to ask me any questions you want answered by me personally. Please make them reasonable questions (do not ask, for example, what is the distance from the earth to the moon in mm, I will ignore it ^^), ones about Animal Jam, the blog, and maybe a bit about me as well, but I don't share personal info.
I'll answer as best I can. Don't feel pressured to write a question though, I'm only doing this in response to questions in comments which I can't find time to answer, but don't worry, I read every comment you guys make. I'll be able to respond this weekend, so comment when you can. :)

ReplyDeleteWhat other (MMORPG) games do you play other than Animal Jam? I played Webkinz for a while, but the expenses started to out-way the fun. I also now currently play WolfQuest and World of Warcraft. I play Poptropica sometimes, but not as into it as I used to be.

World of Warcraft? *gags* I used to play Webkinz, but when i tried to log in, it went bonkers on me and didn't let me log in even tho i had the right username and password. I like Poptropica, but it takes like a month for a new island to come out. Oh, also, on Webkinz they actually have a library. Like, you click on something and you can read it! I laughed my butt off-we do enough reading already, so why do they encourage us to do it online???

I began playing Animal Jam in early beta, but there wasn't too much to do (they didn't have free chat, not too many games, ect.). I quit and came back... hmmm... I'm not positive, but I believe it was around January (of this year) that I began my snowyclaw account. I became a member the following spring (April maybe?).

Thank you Mallary! And as for the worn blankets, they came out last year around Day of the Phantoms. Sadly they did not come back this year, same as the Bat Wings (this has something to do with non-members rights, I'm sure of it).

Good question! ^^ Animal Jam is definitely my top favorite, but I love Wolf Quest multiplayer as well. I used to be really into Poptropica too, but got bored after a while. I like the game Transformice, but the swearing kind of ruins the fun sometimes. That's all I can think of at the moment. :)

ReplyDeleteOr you could go to your blogger settings. Go to settings and go to basics. There you should see "Privacy". You can then enable your blog to be visible to search engines like Google.

ReplyDeleteLike Quavine said, you can do that. Most of the time when your website doesn't show up on Google it's because not enough have visited it yet, or it is too large. Most of the time it's the former. I suggest you advertise a bit in Jamaa (that's what I did). If you still don't get the setting thing you can email me, but I'm sure you can figure it out, maybe ask a parent for help?

Thanks for asking! Me and my sis have played Animal Jam for quite some time, and the only AJ blog actually run by AJHQ (that I know of) was shut down quite a while ago. Notice this is a blogger (google) blog, an official AJHQ one would be on their website. I try not to advertise membership or anything. But don't worry, I'm just a kid, and the same age as some others on AJ. I started this little blog just for fun, thanks for saying I write like an adult though! It's a compliment, kind of, right? ^.^ Anyway, feel free to ask any questions you need answered, or email me at the blog gmail.
P.S. As a parent, do you notice anything I could do that would make this blog better/more up to parent standard?

I simply design the banner, take a picture, then post it at the bottom of each post I make. If you need more help just ask! I didn't know I blogged in a spirited way, I just try to have a constant spirit theme and make sure I convey the spirit of Animal Jam in every post I make!

The only way is to get another lion with gems. All money-bought membership animals come with the same name.

ReplyDeleteI don't have a lion yet, but I do know that to change the name, delete the lion you have and then create a new one. (The membership card allows you to create them as well as giving you one free.) You can then name it whatever you like.

ReplyDeleteWell, I have a ton of amazingly loyal friends who told jammers and their friends, who told their friends, who told their friends, who told their friends, ect. Apparently jammers kinda liked it. I met Graham in the Lost Temple of Zios, simply because AJHQ sent out a message saying, "Have you played Trivia latley?" I went there, told a story to jammers around the phantom ruins, and he appeared!

ReplyDeleteI'm a member and it is definitely worth it. You so many new cool things and more freedom to express yourself. Plus, the money goes to support the conservation of the big cats and, as I've heard, some museums. A membership card would make a great stocking-stuffer. :)

ReplyDeleteI personally think that membership is worth it, but it depends on you. If you like accessorizing, designing outfits, and collecting rares, I think being a member is for you. However, if you enjoy the games and socializing part of AJ more, maybe it isn't really worth it. It's all up to you. :)

I got the cursor from a free online site, just google it! ^.^ And as for the commenters list, it updates itself! If take the top commenters from the past 50 posts or so and they are listed there.

No, she is not a liar. "Snowyclaw" is an ending for an AJ animal name! (example: Little Snowyclaw) And, "Snowy" isn't part of a Warrior Cat name, only Snow is. You can't judge her because she reads Warriors and she has a Warrior Cat-like username! I think you are overreacting for this.

No offense.
