Luckily it isn't too expensive, sadly, I am broke. Here I am with my new buddy and their throne.
ninjamonkeys/supermonkeys/wolfdragon108 was also the one who traded me a rare I've wanted for a long time, a beta eyeball! This is not for me to brag but rather a way for me to thank her for helping me get it. Since I'm already talking about it I'd like to tell you what I know about it. Maybe you know more.
The beta eyeball is actually simply called an Eyeball Hat, just like the others. The beta eyeball color came in the first Days of the Phantoms but was only available for a short amount of time. The more common eyeballs (that came back last October) then came out and the beta color was taken from stores.

Here is supermonkeys' story of the eyeball-
"LONG, LONG AGO about October [2010]? Early october or so, there were Guides still around and the club geoz was still for members only. The Guides they decided to have a get-together. They did it in club geoz. They decided it was a "Koala with Cool Hair" party. It was wild, man. Then, well, one Guide was all "brb guys"so we were like, "Ok, that's cool" so we danced and did the koala macarena. We exchanged news and such then the guide came back WITH THAT VERY HAT. Anyway, we made many bad eye puns. It scared the players who didn't check the stores, there were also non member wings and cat hats and and nm skull hats in stores. All went missing the week after they were out. People threw a fit and there were rumors they were being debugged. Me? Well... me and my friends, along with others, we figured that they were removed because it was to entice nms, "oh members have bat wings, maybe i'll be a member too." A guide at a Guide party gave me the hat, and KEEP IT, NEVER TRADE IT!"

Witch hat bunny told me that beta eyeball hats were taken away just like the skullies. The reason she thought that was because she said that they were disappearing.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that they didn't go away! I don't really want one but It would be cool to have a beta eyeball.
You should probably inclue that the Beta Eyeball was solely for testing the model. Once they knew it worked, they replaced it with a reskinned version.
