On the top floor of the Chamber of Knowledge lies an observatory (or an astronomy tower, potterheads;), full of diagrams, books, and telescopes. What can Jamaa's animals see out there in the dark blue beyond? Is their universe like ours? Are their other planets, other life forms? A sun, a moon? Do they have star constellations and legends that explain them?

She loved stars...that female wolf with the dark brown eyes. She always admired them and talked about them in Jamma, while the other animals fall asleep with her long comments about the sky, Greely was one of the few that listened to her. Not only did he admired the fact of how much a wolf would love the stars of night time but the fact how beautiful she seemed to him. Her name was Shade, a black female wolf with dazzling brown eyes. Even though the wold was intelligent, everyone thought she was quite crazy. Greely thought the total opposite while the other shamans believed bit she was a bit over the top. "She's a bit crazy...that girl." Graham whispered to Cosmo while they were walking around Jamma with the other Shamans. "I don't think she's around here either." Liza told the shamans. While the shamans doubted on Shade Greely never listened to them.Shade believed in a different god that the animals didn't like. She believed in a god named Moon, a wolf like god that was said to be the original god of all creation. And as the priestess, Shade would give small offerings to the gods, mostly beautiful gems and feathers. Greely found the other culture quite unique and fascinating and decided to go and talk to shade. He bumped into her in the temples where she was collecting specific flowers to offer to her god one day, "Hello there." He said quietly, but loud enough for the other wolf to hear. Shade hesitated before answering the wolf, "Greetings. What do you want?" She asked a bit suspiciously. Greely tried his best to smile, but failed at it for he barely did smile. Shade blinked at him a few minutes before she was about to walk away from the strange wolf that seemed to like her. "Wait. I was only curious about your culture." Shade smirked as she turned around to look into greely's dark eyes, "Since when did shamans cared about my god? I thought you crazy animals believed in flying big blue prey as gods." Greely was slightly offended by her comment, "Mira and Zios are not prey, they are gods! I prefer you to respect my belief for I respect yours." Shade rolled her eyes as she walked off, "I never told you to respect my belief at the first place, Greely."
"You again?!" Shade asked in annoyance as this was the fifth time she bumped into Greely in the temple areas. Shade immediately growled at the wolf and pushed past him roughly, "I told you to leave me alone!" Soon through time Shade was getting used to the strange wolf following her. It was quite creepy but she was a bit happy that actually someone out there did cared on what she had to think. She finally decided, after five years, allow Greely to talk to her. She first took him to a neat hideout on a cold February night in the temples. Greely couldn't help but gasp in amazment on how beautiful the place looked. There were magical orbs, mirros, books, lanterns...even a book filled with drawings of the strange wolf god Moon. But out of all of these beautiful objects, Shade admired one thing the most...an old rusty binocular. "Come, look into this and you'll see why I believe in Moon." Greely followed her orders and to his shock...he had to admit he had never seen anything else more beautiful then the stars. There were different colours of stars, red, blue, purple and such. There was the familiar big red sun, glowing of the colors of ruby and orange. Out of everything however his eyes caught sight of a group of stars, in a little group, forming the shape of a wolf. "Is that Moon?" He asked in a whisper. Shade nodded and smiled, "That's him. And you're one of the first wolves to see him besides me. Barely anyone sees or believes him now...sad. For he is the true one who made Jamma what is now today."
Greely was about to argue about her opinion but stopped him from saying so for he knew it would turn out bad if he did. Day after day Greely and Shade meet in their hiding spot to gaze out into the dark sky. Gilbert found out about his friend's little secret but kept it quiet for he knew, ever since Greely had been with Shade he had changed. Greely became more talkative and to all the animal's shock, smiled and laughed. Shade was doing him good! Greely told Gilbert one night, "I don't know! Something about Shade makes me feel weird inside! I can't describe it Gilbert!" Gilbert, who was much more older and experienced only chuckled, "I know that you have feelings for that wolf. Admit it. Soon, you'll have a family of your own with her." Greely's eyes widen and looked at the tiger as if he was going nuts but the tiger looked serious. Finally Greely decided to admit his feelings to Shade, he spent all night, with the help of Peck to make a big emerald necklace with the shape of a moon. The shaman hummed with happiness as he raced off to the hideout. Sadly, he didn't see Shade. The next day he didn't see her either. Greely soon found out that Shade had died one night while her way to the temples. She bumped into phantoms and they killed her without mercy. Greely turned back to his old self after that, but much more quieter and colder. He was fight and snap with Gilbert and the shamans and he wanted to be left alone most of the times. And you could almost always find him in the secret room where he had once been with another wolf. A wolf that was a close friend and a wolf that he fell in love with. He would always look at the stars and remind him that he was once a happy animal. He just wished however...that he could have told her his feelings a bit earlier. The End.
DeleteYou get 3 diamondz. Now go puch a tree, craft wooden planks, make sticks, craft a crafting table, make a diamomd pickaxe. Mine 6 iron. Make two buckets. Collect water and lava. Make obsidian. Repeat last 2 steps til you have 10 obsidian. Get iron and flint. Make flint n steel. Make an obsidian frame (without corners, use cobble or sometin). Light the obsidian. Now you can go to the Nether!!

DeleteThat room came out on Valentines day, I can still remember it when it was new. Lots of my friends went up there and we would have so much fun...time sure does fly. I always had a feeling that there was some sort of tragic love story in the background when this room came, why else would it have come on February? Either way, I think it's a beautiful yet mysterious room.

Phantonia. Animals would come and take turns to watch out for them , when they would come and ambush. They never actually attacked, till one day..
As the little animal noticed them coming, he ran down stairs, down the hall, down a few more stairs, across a hall and finnaly the last few stairs down, then he ran toward Jamaa Township. When he finally got to his destination he took a turn heading to where Mira's nest was. " Mira theyre here." he tried to sound calm after that nice run across Jamaa. " Thank you Cosmo, run back to your den, okay?" Mira asked. " Yes Mira" Cosmo answered.
As the phantoms came they brought their king. Already the phantom had squashed about 4 bunnies 3 tigers and about 42 wolves since they were so common. Back at his den, Cosmo couldnt bear to watch all his friends get squashed. So he decided to join the alphas! He ran as fast as he could run towards Jamaa Township.
And yeaa i dont rly know what to put after XD

DeleteI think the observatory belongs to Graham. He built it a long time ago... You can go there to research and buy historical statues for your den. Alphas learned that the stars guide you to your Path of Destiny, and every Jammer has one. The stars guided Alphas on their quest, so the observatory has great history value for Jamaa :)

ReplyDeleteLong ago, when these chambers were first made by Zios in return of a mask Mira gave to him. Zios knew Mira loved looking at the stars, so up there in the topmost chamber he put a window, and a few telescopes. So then Mira could look to the skies when she wanted. Making the chambers left him weak, resulting in his death. So then there comes the saddness and greif with phantoms behind it. When all the animals hid in the chambers to hide from phantoms, they turned the topmost chamber into a phantom look out post. Where they would track phantoms movements and see if there are any coming.

DeleteI think that when they look through those telescopes out into the sky that they see constellations of the Alphas. Every single constellation holds the story of that Alpha.
ReplyDeleteI think that they can also see other planets. They're solar system is probably a lot like ours, with just a little twist.
For some reason, I think that they see a lot of shooting stars as well. I think Jamaa is a magical place, and shooting stars are a magical thing. So I can imagine that Jamaa's solar system is full of shooting stars, which I know that many people think of as a magical thing.

Heres my story:
ReplyDeleteLong ago, before anything existed there was a bright light that suddenly apeared.
the light spread quickly, then exploded making stars and planets.
once the Animal Jam planet was created, the stars formoed together the creat each of the Alphas, accept mira.
All of the alphas landed on the Animal jam planet, and wonderd what to do.
suddenly, the last bit of the giant light floated down, and it was Mira.
She guided the Alphas and helped them learn how to rule jamma with her.
One day, the phantoms arrived in a suprise attack,caught Mira off guard and destroyed her.
her spirit had enought time before leaving to say goodbye to the Alphas, she told them to protect jamaa at ALL costs.

many years later, Liza created the observitory to try and find Mira.
she looked for days, months, years but never saw a thing.
"I will try one last time" she thought.
as she looked thru, she saw a bright Blue figure flying thru the stars.
"Mira..." she said to herself as the figure disapeared.
Now, only on a certain day it is sure you can find Mira in the sky.
