Hey jammers! Today's new item is the Brown Tile, a member flooring located in the last few pages of Jam Mart Furniture.
This flooring was introduced last winter at the Jamaaliday Jam. It's strikingly similar to the nonmember flooring called Tan Carpet, sold during Animal Jam's beta testing period in 2010.
Though it isn't as popular now that AJHQ has fixed its glitch issues this remains the rarest type of nonmember flooring available. How often do you see Tan Carpet on your adventures around Jamaa? AJHQ has some more posts on the DE.
Looks like there were two winners for the News Crew contest, congratulations Blossom Cuteghost! Hopefully you were able to purchase the rare monday item, and great job with the imaginative stories with yesterday's mystery! I think from now on I'll give prizes on random Monday mystery days, but you'll never know when they'll be. Happy jamming everyone!

DeleteExcept for most member gifts, though. DO NOT trade away tail armor, all tail items are rare for the moment until AJ releases NM tails and less expensive tails. The only tail items so far are elf tail armor and raccoon tail. I may be being dramatic, but HOLD ONTO YOUR TAIL ITEMS, JAMMERS, AND HOG THEM!

DeletePeople said that pumas weren't coming out, and guess what? SNOW LEOPARDS CAME OUT! So just hang in there, HeKomi, because they could release bears for members (no gift cards), and make the bear Alpha the first non-original alpha to be revealed. Besides, AJHQ did the unexpected changing shamen to alphas, they may do the same for more bears besides pandas to come out. And Skyways, I'm not so sure about snakes, because
1. Most Jammmers wouldn't like to be confronted by giant snakes.
2. AJHQ makes animals that are usually around human size, otherwise they may have brought cockoroaches to Jamaa (scary thought.
So, I guess that I commented if ppl want me to. No offense, Skyways if I was a tad mean.
Actually, the brown tile was in the beta times (I think). Now they returned and I agree, it does look similar to the tan carpet. But I don't remember the beta times so I might be wrong about the brown tile flooring being in the beta.

On December 14th, 2012, a crazy man shot 20 children and 6 adults. Why hasnt Snowyclaw posted about that?
ReplyDeleteBecause younger people are on here that probably don't know about it or need to know about it. It's not exactly something you talk about with 6-8 year olds. Some parents are protective and don't want their kids knowing about it. And this is an animal jam blog, not U.S. news.

I think the tan carpet and the brown tiles are EXACTLY alike! Now we can't tell the difference if someone has beta one or not. Oh well. And also, AJHQ posted another winner for the big cats.
ReplyDeleteHe was'nt crazy, he was autistic and the reason he shot his mom and 20 children since his mom spent more time with the children! His paretns were also divorced and he did have mental issues but the main issue was that he was autistic and his mom just spent more time with children then him.

I hope that Smart Bomb adds the alphas into direct gameplay next update, they said that they would bring alphas as fast as they can. Besides, right now we have NO alpha stories and Jamaasian culture except for the new video and their description. Besides, the Snow Fort update may have been stalling for a larger update, as it was pretty much minor. Besides, it seems like they're working on a larger project since they have been bringing odd and old items to the store. Anyone agree?

I have a tan carpet. Here is the difference:
