Croquet Set

Hey jammers! Today's new item, of all things, is a Croquet Set. Kinda wacky, right? I must say, first thing I think of is Alice in Wonderland.
Poor flamingos and hedgehogs! ^.^
This makes me suspect a very interesting "sophisticated" series of furniture items are coming to Jam Mart Furniture, possibly followed by a very "sophisticated" den. Why the quotation marks? Because sophisticated = human in Animal Jam, and I think we all have rather confused feelings about that topic. Anywho, here's AJHQ's post today!
Speaking of artwork, would anyone mind taking a look at my little sketch of Luna (MLP), I think I'll use it as a base sketch for a computer art version if you guys think it's good enough, click here?

I also posted the first Journey Book Guide video explanations. What do you think? Anything I should try for next time? Click here!

I decided to take down the membership giveaway until AJHQ has responded to me (they didn't look at my email today, gah...). I'll also call them this weekend, so come back the next few days to hear more on the membership giveaway news. I hope I can work it out with them. That's about it for today, happy jamming!

      I agree with ya, WarriorCat. Sometimes the human items are good, but I think we need to find a balance. Not too many human items, not too many nature items. Wasn't that the goal of the Jamaasian Movement?

      That was kind of random I still don't think having non member and members is fair like some ppl can't afford a membership plus some members are so mean to non members just because of memberships I think it's kind of ridiculous that some members are mean to non members because they pay for something and non mems don't . That's my opinion over memberships ^.^

    Yes! I don't really this item, but I really want better items! AJHQ keeps bringing the same clothing back sometimes and it's very annoying! But I really want fox hats to come back!

    This is really interesting! I'm glad it is for nm. Croquet is a wacky thing to add to AJ but I'm buying it because it might be rare someday since it looks "out of place" might I say. I still think it is pretty cool. I wish they would make the soccer ball nm.

      Yeah...I was a beta tester, but back then, I didn't think items were rare, I didn't care about rare items, to I recycled them all :\. Luckily I still have my worn :3. Anyways...Yes, it is very sad... :(

      If anyone's wondering, Croquet is a game sorta like golf, where you use the mallet to make a yarn ball go into the hole.

    I bought all the colors and pieces to the croquet set and traded it all to one of my nm storage accounts (there is no room for that kind of stuff on my main anymore xD).

    I know people are complaining that it's too human. But it's not that much different from the other sports items like the basketballs and footballs.

    Hey Snowy! I just watched that video that you posted and I have an idea for the next one! How about you do a color video, you know how to choose your colors or what colors look good together. You don't have to, but I thought that would be a good idea. Cause I have trouble with my colors for my animal.

      That would be pretty cool... I normally use dark colours like red, black, and gray together. Or I sometimes might add a white. One recommendation is: try to match your colours to the item you're wearing. Say you have a red top hat. Use shades of red that match the hat, or use a dark colour like black, gray, silver, etc; Or a white.

      I tend to use darker colours because I quite enjoy them. But like I said, I match clothing too. Hope I helped! xD

    Personally, a croquet set makes me think of my bro and me playing when I was younger, or Snoopy running around croquet game in Peanuts. However, I do agree that the croquet set is a bit weird.

    Pros: It looks cool in your den, is a sport item (and AJ doesn't have that many sports items.)

    Cons: Animal Jam is about ANIMALS, not people, and croquet can't really be played by animals, cause of paws.
