Hey jammers! Today's update isn't the biggest, but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. ^.^ Today's new items are Clover Earmuffs!
This update is mainly to celebrate Lucky Day, which takes the cake in greenest holidays in the history of . . . well . . . holidays!
Also, the Ol' Barn Den has returned to Jamaa, just in time for spring!
I'll have my barn set up if anyone would like to see it!
As it is the green holiday, celebrate by playing AJ's greenest game, Super Sort! It is even double gems right now, to celebrate!
There are also some new toys to collect in Phantom Invasion!
AJHQ also mentions donating gems to the conservation fund!

Happy Pi Day everyone! Hehe, today in math class we are supposed to bring in something round to measure it or something, and I'm bringing in a pie (i mean, after all, it's called PI day) to share with the class ^.^ Long live 3.14! Well, i guess it does live quite long... since the decimal never ends :P Oh yea and congrats to the new pope for being elected! :D Hmm... lemme see if i have anything to say about ze update.. oh yeah! I think, the bff toys should come in sets of 2. Sorta like a BFF necklace. For example, there could be a crocadile with a 'B' on it and standing in a "high-fiving" pose, and a fox with a 'FF' on it, also standing in a high-fiving pose, and when they are connected together it spells out BFF and they are high-fiving each other! :3 I think that would be the cutest thing

DeleteLuke was mentioned above, there are 3 types of Pi. The first is a decimal used in mathematical equations. The second is the scrumptious kind we like to eat. And the third is Life of Pi which is a book turned into a movie about a young boy stuck on a boat with a tiger. Hope this helped!

Pi is a never ending decimal, shortened to 3.14 You can look up like the first 5,000 numbers of pi xD Pi is used to find the circumference of circles and used in a few other math formulas my teacher taught me to find diameter and stuff, but yeah, pi is a math term xD I think it's Greek. Not sure though.

Does anyone else but me think that the middle rhino toy looks a little like...well...Twilight Sparkle? If you watch MLP of course. It's just the hair, color, streak, horn...all accept the wings, dress, and bracelet things...

That game is super easy. If you play it in the hard level, you can earn about 200 gems in one minute. >:D

Nothing new, something old. Amazing, AJHQ, amazing. I just feel... "inspired" to write a mini story right here, so forgive me: (purely fiction ^^)
ReplyDeleteI woke up at eight, and spawned at the Jamaa Township. It was fairly busy. I went to my den to check my mailbox (to see if any of my buddies had left a letter). There was nothing. I headed out to Sarepia Forest, where my job was. Now most Jammers, or Jamaasians, don't have a job. I do. It was sorting trash from recyclables. The job pays fairly well, so I've kept it. I take my shift, relieving the last Jammer (sadly she doesn't think Mira will ever come back). I sort the plastic from the paper and the paper from the plastic. Until about fifteen minutes in I see an artifact. I stopped the wood-and-vine machines and held up the stone to the light. It had some sort of ancient map on it. I could scarcely make out the forest I was in, but I could see the Lost Temple of Zios... not lost. I saw the township and I saw Mira's-- and Zios'-- palace! It was so intricately carved, so beautifully designed-- even the Jamaasians were done with special care. I left my shift (got 500 gems, woohoo!) and ran to my den. I placed it on my table, and couldn't take my eyes off it.
O.O Longer. Than. Expected!

But I also think they are somewhat okay, because zoos have endangered animals, and if they're aren't any in the wild, the zoo will have kept the species alive. Make sense?

The animals from the zoos, and I'm not trying to dampen your spirit, were most likely born there. They've lost their wildness and most of their instincts. So if you put them in the wild, they'll die. See what I mean?
ReplyDeleteAnimals in captivity live nearly twice as long as they do in the wild. If they were really doing that badly in zoos, they would die of stress and live shorter in captivity (but that's not the case).
ReplyDeleteAlso, some animals would be extinct if it weren't for zoos.
I agree most of them should be wild. But I don't think we need to feel sorry for captive animals as long as the people who care for them research with scientists to create their perfect diets and environments.

As long as the zoo has enough revenue to support the animals in large spaces, then it is okay. Besides, animals need zoos to stay away from extinction. The dodos weren't saved because people didn't actually care about animals back then. And besides, keeping animals to help them survive is one thing, but keeping them as pets for pleasure is another. DOn't mesh them together.

I agree...BUT! Zoos help endangered animal species, whereas if they were in the wild they could be killed...And I would have never seen a wild animal in my life if it weren't for the zoo...Well, I have seen birds and deer and stuff....but not like, Pandas and polar bears and stuff.

O.o That's along time. It took me like an hour to figure out how to import and export bookmarks on Chrome so I could uninstall them reinstall it. xD I really don't know why I needed to uninstall it anyway... .-.
DeleteI agree partly. I am against caging animals, but I have to agree that it does help the species grow sometimes. Besides, some zoos just help the animals for a little while then let them back into the wild.
