Hey jammers! Today's new item is very interesting, and a bit abstract with Jamaa's everyday life, but... Hmm... I dunno...

Now, the random topic of this post! I'm going to start doing little art commissions for Animal Jam or MLP. Instead of money though, I do artwork for a rare in Jamaa. Does that sound interesting?

I want a Freedom Helmet, and Spike Collar, so I would consider them some of the largest rares because I want them sooo bad. I also want blue tail armor. My username is roxy30000, and I have a few rares on trade. I have quite a few rares, so if those rares don't suit you my inventory may be more suitable. Mimkid, I think whoever considers freedom wings a small rare must be crazy rich with rares!

I think sometimes the rarer jammers will try and talk down great rares so that they can trick people into thinking they are worthless and be easier for THEM to get. Just a thought.

I like the style of it, and don't worry! I'm sure that it will still be in stores or on trade dirt cheap when you become a member! Convince your parent/guardian with stuff such as schoolwork for two weeks to get you at least a month's worth of membership.

DeleteSnowy, I don't think the art comission stuff is a bad idea, but you already seem so busy and it might interfere with your schedule. Maybe you could do it over the summer, so school won't be in the way? I'm not sure if i need a drawing for myself, because I wouldn't really know what to use it for.

Okay, I have a problem.
ReplyDeleteMy mom returned my Sidekixs because she didn't know how much I loved them, and now she took the oppurtunity to bribe me. I will get the poster she returned after my MCAS (easy), but I have to study half an HOUR for the ISEE to get my sidekixs back. I was sobbing for a really long time and ruined my dad's happy mood, because I might have to study for 30 DAYS, which I can't stand, which is like 90 hours, that I DO NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND! But I have to take the ISEE for 5th/6th grade, and if I refuse I don't get them back and I feel miserable for a year or so. Does anyone know how to get out of this?
Oh, and I'm really, really really sorry if I sound like a brat, but those sidekixs meant a lot to me. I never got to see their faces or codes.

DeleteThis is really sad and not quite fair to you. Why would your mom send back something she already promised you? AND, why does she have to bribe you to do work? I mean, maybe she needs to trust you more. In fact, wouldn't you feel more inclined to do your work once you have your plushies? One more thing. Parents make mistakes too. They are people just like us. They are just trying the best with what they know to make you a better person in the long run. One day they might look back and wish they weren't this hard on you, but until then, try and make the best of their conditions.
DeleteTry and discuss what you want to say with them calmly, to perhaps loosen up the rules so you can feel motivated to do your work. IT HAS TO BE CALM or they won't listen and it could end up a big fight all over again. Write what you want to say to them on paper ahead of time. You don't even have to say it if you don't want. In the end the rules are still up to them.

I'm miserable right now. Talked to her, she assumes stuff and doesn't trust me. I tried to talk, she didn't listen. Sent her an email, she didn't reply. I've tried paper in the past but she doesn't understand the principles of notes. Try to use Dad to talk sense into her, he says too much and she yells at me AGAIN. I've been crying for a bit and getting strung up about little stuff. How on Jamaa will I fix this?

DeleteI'm really sorry if this is offensive, but don't you think you might be getting a bit carried away here? You already get lots of epic rares through Spirit Mail everyday! Don't you think it's a bit much too, with all of the schoolwork you have? Sometimes it takes a whole weekend to draw digital art! Getting back to tons of jammers in line could take months at a time! I would think it would be fun to have jammers submit artwork on a certain theme to earn a prize (like the examples you gave based on the quality of their work). It could replace contests every other month. I thought the art thing you mentioned yesterday in little letters meant news for the theme of artwork you wanted in the instrumental part of Once Upon a December. I already planned the artwork in my head!

Its not rude, there are others concerned about her time too. Still, she could have a few artists from the Spirit Art blog and the Spirit Jammers (seriously, sometimes we have nothing to do) help her run this and give some customers their own work.
