I like a few. I like the silver, pink and blue, yellow, and blue. I can agree on the spike colors a little! AJHQ could at least make the colors better!!! lol :DD

Well, AJHQ probably knew that a LOT (I mean a lot) of people would be angry if they brought back real spikes. And even though I don't have a rare spike, I'm happy they didn't come back, because if they did, I wouldn't feel proud of myself for having it. It would feel like cheating. Sometimes it's fun to take the hard way. :)

I really want one of the new spikes.It may not be rare but I'm a non member and I just like the look they made . I only have 2 diamonds because of the daily spin .I hope AJ adds more NM things in the shop.Im just really disappointed that most updates are for members.I know AJ needs money and all but I'm getting bored on AJ :P

Yeah but it is okay because if there is nice people like us (hint hint**) to help them out and stick up for them. and the easiest thing to do is to say no! I did that hundreds of times! once someone said, I have all spikes I give exchange for your account! I did not see any spikes so I said no!!! always say no trading only!

DeleteCan't you at least think about how hard some of us have worked to get the spikes we have now? I have a long blue, and it took me half a year to get it! And when you say that I would just "forget all about my hard work if they did ever come in stores" I sure as heck wouldn't! What if you worked super hard and long for something, and finally got it? And then it just suddenly lost it's value? Don't say you wouldn't care, because I know you would.

I'm sorry but, scamming WILL never end. It's not like I support it or anything, because I don't, but we all have to face the fact that some idiot will ALWAYS be there to decide to be mean and take away someone's hard earned item. Trust me, I know what it feels like. But it's the same as in the real world; There will always be evil, but there will also always be good.

Delete@Artemis, since you brought up the real world, I'd like to remind you that in the real world, things lose value all the time. When someone works hard to earn the money to buy that awesome new expensive stereo system, or that popular new video game console, or new type of apple device, (or whatever) do you think those things stay valuable forever? CERTAINLY NOT. The prices go way down as newer things take over.
DeleteThe people who worked hard don't whine about it, because they went through the trouble to have it first.
It's the same with the spikes. The people who worked hard got the reward of having them first. It wouldn't be terrible if they came back and us humble "peasants" and "commonfolk" dare get a chance at such things. It doesn't take away anything from the people who had them first. It's just in their heads.
I have a long black spike wristband, and I would only be slightly annoyed if it came out. I mean, I worked hard for it, ( I don't even remember what I traded for it it was so long ago ) but really all I did was click a mouse and type on the computer. XD . I do understand people's reactions like Grr I worked so hard for it and poof now I feel cheated because thats kinda how I felt when the diamond shop came out but like on a lower level than others. DeleteIt's kind of fun to trade for items and try and barter for a good deal. It takes a while to get more rare items but once you get a lot more it like accelerates. As for me? I don't really trade much any more. Im kinda like a veteran AJ player ( lol wut ) that's kinda gotten a lil bit tired of rares. Whoops sorry that comment was a bit random.

Hey peeps! This update might be the worst update. AJHQ promised to give spikes back. Here's my opinion for the new things:
ReplyDeleteNew den item store- Not bad so far. I wanted new slots though. Maybe AJHQ will give out new pawsome den items in the next few days.
New spikes- Not happy. I read in the Jamaa Journal and they said that spikes are here. I wanted a black spike so bad! I was so happy! I quickly went to the Diamond Store and..............black spikes aren't there. The rare colors aren't there! AJHQ, you're NOT making a difference! You promised to give us old items back but you just put new colors! This happened to the Day of the Phantoms items! I guess scamming will never come to an end...
Hard mode- Cool! I might want to go in the second Adventure and see if there are items that never been to stores.
Cosmo Adventure coming soon- SO EXCITED!!! I typed in the purple question mark saying: "Maybe we should help the kangaroos?" Maybe the new adventure will be based on that!
That's all I wanted to share. I want someone to do me a favor. AJHQ has to make at least almost every rare to come back, even with same colors. Someone should email AJHQ that the spikes that came into the Diamond Shop won't stop scamming and they need the "rare" colors back. THAT would reduce scamming if we had the old colors back. I hope they'll do it.

Yeah you got a point with spikes but I only have one rare now... and it is my long red spike. if it comes out I wont be rare anymore.. I know animal jam is not for rares! I won't quit if it happens but it would really hurt me! it is kind of a win win situation for AJHQ tho! rare people stay rare and if someone really wanted a spike get one! and one thing,, AJHQ did not say anything about the spikes staying in the diamond shop forever.. Great point Krazy!!
DeleteWell, even if it hurts you, you will forget about that you feel sad about it. I promise. Because only around 3 days peeps were arguing about the Diamond Shop when they came back. After 3 days, no one argued anymore. I'm positive if spikes come back, only a bit of scamming will still be in Jamaa.

DeleteNo problem. I used to be scammed once, like a long time ago. I was sad. I didn't even know I was scammed! A few minutes later, I forgot that it actually happened. The white spike collar might be the only new spike I like. They have ugly color combinations for most of those spikes. I thought that the old spikes would come back, including the white one. But there IS a chance that AJHQ will bring back the old ones. I'm positive........

But people work hard to get the spikes... Wouldn't people quit... And yes, there will ALWAYS be scammming no matter what AJHQ does its life. I know I would feel bad if spikes came out (if I had a spike) because people traded great really rare stuff for their spike. Maybe they could just come out with the same colors but a small noticable differentice and the old ones would still have the rare sign on it.

DeleteHmm, I think you all should stop fighting about spikes and rares. I have a huge chest of rares, and i have about 5 rare backpacks for trade, plus i have a worn, a blue fox hat, freedom bands, head feather(rare), and others. I am not bragging. But unfortunately my dear friends, AJ is never about rares.... it is about how much you love the world, your friends, and technology.....

Maybe the demand for rare spikes may be less? I dunno. But hey! A lot of jammers are happy about the spikes and rares is just a smaller part of AJ. How I put it as AJ is 95 percent buddies and 5 percent rares.

ReplyDeleteugh i hate how people are still complaining about spikes coming out......... like really the other spikes are even rarer now and the stupid thing is people will yell at you if you buy anything from the diamond shop. like how julian2 says he doesnt like anyone that buys anything from the diamond shop like really. those people are just selfish and then people say that we are the selfish ones because we dont work for them so thats why they bring them back. the people that only care abouts rares shoiuld be happy that they came out in different colors.
ReplyDeleteI will be more happy if the old colors for the spike should come back at least once. What about for the rare peeps. If they're trying to get a spike collar and if the old colors come back, they can choose their own color. So even if "rare" peeps like their rares, they might want a color they like but hard for them to get. AJHQ promised to stop scamming to bring back rares. Spikes were the top items that are the target to scammers. If AJHQ bring them back, only a few scammers will be left. Around 25% of them left.

Hey peeps! I got a few ideas for the future:
ReplyDelete-You know the parachute game? You know that you can get gems from a chest if you never got hit by a single phantom? Well if you avoid all phantoms and open the chest, maybe we should get a prize! Members get member items (old color spikes, mech angel helmets, etc.) and non-member items. While non-members get non-member items (worns, fox hats, rare bows, etc.)! **This idea should be added if some rares will never come back but can be won in that game.
-AJHQ should give us "sales" that are half price for new items that come into the Diamond Shop. If it's an animal, it will cost 5 diamonds for 2 or more weeks. It's an item that costs 4 diamonds, it will cost 4 diamonds!
-The new Adventures should lead us to new areas instead of a forest (desert, jungle, etc.). While different Shamans/Alphas will help you along the way. Maybe you can win very rare items if you're lucky inside chests, too! **Items that will never come back should be the rare items to get in the Adventures to make it fair.
-AJ should have "imaginary" animals in Jamaa. I know it's wierd but still. Like dragons and unicorns (yay unicorns!)! I ran out of ideas and this popped out of my head! Random idea, eh?

DeleteI like this update :3. I really like the spikes (even though I'm a nm). Did you notice the first 3 colors are basically gold, silver, and bronze? I can't choose which color I like the best. Probably the dark brown is the one I like the most. I hope they bring out a version of the shorter spike collar, but for nms. Like, maybe they could do both long collar and wristband for members, and both short collar and wristband for nms.

DeleteYah, Cosmo is my favorite alpha. Basically because I relate to him more then to the other alphas.
The new furniture items from Kimbara Imports remind me of the three story dens in beta. They were made of pretty much the same stuff.
(They might be bringing a similar den back)
I think I'll prefure a den with a river, a cave, and an old abandoned mine :D

I've been wanting a more coral canyons look in my den, and I wish they'd make a coral canyons den or a outback den, one that was really big like the size of the castle den. Omg I can finally have a spike collar! I used to have a rare long spike pink but I traded it, for something dumb I'd rather not tell because then people are all like: "I can't believe you did that!", ya know?? Well I'm happy now anyways. I wish you could recycle diamond items for the price of diamonds they were worth, I wish I hadn't bought all that pheonix (bad spelling) armor! Oh well I'll get more diamonds eventually, however all my phenoix armor is on trade and if you ever wanna trade any diamond shop spikes for it just send me a jam-a-gram! I have a pink diamond snow leopard plush if anyone wants to trade something for that.

ReplyDeleteI feel they should have brought back the orignal spikes in my opinion .-. These new ones are a bit ugly . I only like silver and blue. I dont really care if ppl were mad they would come back, AJ is a educational website for younger jammers. So when real spikes come out new income jammers can get one even though they wouldnt be rare anymore.

DeleteI would have been happy with original spikes coming back. So many people lost them due to scamming and are probably wanting a second try now that they learned the hard way. And many weren't around during the original spike member gifting.
DeleteI am still thankful that these new spikes are here though. :) I realize AJHQ is bending over backwards trying to please everybody at the same time. A mess of jammers are saying "PLEASE DON'T BRING SPIKES BACK!!! I'LL QUIT!" And the other half are saying "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING SPIKES BACK!!!" and they get all this push and pull all the time in their mail. So they had to come up with a compromise. It must be tough working on a site where you know that you can't please everyone no matter what you do to improve it...

ReplyDeleteHey jammers & Snowyclaw! Is it me or are some people overreacting over the new spikes. I mean people just have to ruin some other members days right... I mean seriously if you have the rare spikes these don't really matter to you. The new spikes don't say rare and don't even effect the value of the old spikes. In the end these spikes will only stop the people who are trading badly for the rare spikes. This also stops scammers from trying to scam the newer jammers that don't really know scams that well. Why complain about the new spikes when rare spikes are still valuable. Be happy AJ thought about releasing different colored spikes that don't ruin the old ones. The new spikes are not worth much but they at least give some other jammers who can't even get a spike get one. It's very annoying trying to trade for the Rare spikes when all the people who have a rare spike are too greedy to give it up. I'm only saying this through experience since I have been trying to get a spike forever, and this seriously helped me stop from WANTING the spike. All people should understand that AJ is doing this to help keep members and make new ones.

If someone said they were you (irl), you'd be in a lot of trouble if you threw a knife at them (they would too, put that's not the point).
