Hey jammers! It seems our poll was correct, the new animal is the Cheetah! But before we get into that, here is today's new item: this time, the Angry Jack-O'-Lantern in the Mystery Emporium!
As with the Kangaroo, the Cheetah has a sort of "rare" color.
Notice how the colors don't appear on the color palate? I think I'll work this into an outfit for a while at least. ^.^ Anywho, with the new animal comes a new exhibit in the Conservation Museum.

Anyway the cheetah is very cute and adorable ( I can't choose... it is so awesome) The Angry Jack-o-lantern is awesome :) it looks pretty frightening just for Halloween( sorry i think this may be also available last year but i just joined this year ;). Don't worry snowy as soon as i could come on AJ i might have spare plushies XD. The cheetah acts so adorable which will be making me say aww all the time :3.

There is no more monthly gifts from AJ. The monthly gifts are the weekly diamonds. You get to pick your own monthly gift by saving the diamonds to buy things in the Diamond Shop. I'm assuming people were complaining that the gifts weren't very good so now AJ resolved the issue by releasing animals and items in the diamond shop for diamonds. :) Hope that helped ^_^

I agree. Maybe AJHQ should bring out a sale of 50% off of diamonds. Since the cheetah is very new, many peeps will buy them! Also, there will be less peeps trying to buddy me because I already have a cheetah.

And also, has anyone noticed that AJHQ is being unfair to nonmembers lately?! They are taking away from nonmembers, not giving! AJHQ is going WAY too far with this and its leading to more nonmembers quitting rather then buying membership. They have their reasons for not being a member AJHQ! We have to do something.. And please go to the Animal Jam nonmember, they host the nonmember movement.

I agree. Lately, AJHQ isn't doing many things for non-members. I know that AJHQ needs money but they should give a few things to non-members. Why don't non-members get a gift every month? Even members can have them but it'll be for everyone! :D

I sort of agree and sort of disagree. I know AJ is really concentrating on members but they get their pay from members, not non members. Non members play for free, members pay to play. Members get exclusives due to paying to play. Non members support AJ and I agree they do need some things in return but members deserve more for getting money out of their pocket to get the full gameplay experience from AJ. Remember, AJ gave non members pets, and allowed non members to go in adventures that were member only. AJ is being very generous already. I do agree they do need at least a new non member animal. They are very limited to animals lately. Cheetahs were kind of expected to be member only but I do agree non members need a animal too. Monthly gifts are specifically for members since members pay to play. I love both non members and members, a couple friends of mine are non members but Members get more due to paying to play. :( Sorry if it seems unfair but its most likely not at all.

DeleteDance: The dance is very funny. The cheetah stands up and it looks almost as tall as the giraffe. It spreads it's arms and one leg from left to the right then the cheetah splits.
Play: The cheetah goes into it's position and runs extremely fast. Like what Snowy said, the clothing items are left behind. The cheetah wears the clothing items again after it comes back (it's not really a glitch for the clothing items to be like that).
Hop: It just hops like some animals.
Sleep: The cheetah lies down and uses its paws as a pillow. Its legs are spread out like the tail.
Sit: You can look at Snowy's picture of the cheetah sitting.

The play move isn't bugged if you don't mess with the colors o-o but its supposed to be the cheetah running really fast then stopping. It is pretty cute. I will try and make a video later for my blog when I get my cheetah :)

Actually, the Diamond Shop is kind of good in a way. Think about it, before when animals were gift card only, not everyone could get to the stores they sold them in... myself included for some of the animals. Now, everyone has a chance to get one, with a little patience. I was quite happy when it was released. Now you don't have to buy a membership card, when you already have membership, just to get the animals. Yes, I do miss monthly gifts, it was pretty nice, but I am also happy with the diamond shop. This is just my opinion, though, and I can understand your views on this as well. I'm just stating why I'm pleased with the shop.
