Hey jammers! Todays we have two returning items, the Pilgrim Hat in Jam Mart Clothing (sold last Feast of Thanks), and the Mushroom Table in Jam Mart Furniture (sold this past spring).
And as this post says, let's all be thankful for turtles!

      Oh my Zios, I hope the old color headdresses come back! If they release new colors, I'll be part of the Phantom Army and destroy AJHQ and force them to bring back the old colors! MUAHAHAHAHA!

      I'm very serious though. The huge problem about it is not only because I want the old colors but because scamming will become more frequent. Some Jammers will try to scam the old (rare) colors of the headdresses. And when someone trades the old colors for new colors, the scammer will be like: "Haha! That headdress I gave you is in stores and this one you gave to me is rare". I'm very tired of it. I have an old color headdress and I still have feelings for the Jammers. And I want everyone to be equal here in AJ. I wish Monday Rare Items will be the only rare items but nooooooo! It's too late! All because AJHQ caused this problem. No offense AJHQ but making new colors isn't making a difference in AJ. It is making a difference but worse.

      Sorry that I'm being mean to AJHQ but it's just that their ideas about stopping scamming are not great. I know trading will be boring but go on an Adventure or play games or hangout with friends! Trading today is very dangerous and I try to stay away from trading things to peeps.

      I agree, krazy. It will be even harder to distinguish between rare and nonrare headdresses.... Even experienced traders could get "new item scammed"

      @ Krazy - well, you're right...especially with new-colored items. AJHQ says that bringing the new colored rares to the game will stop scamming..i did agree with that for a while until i noticed people bragging that their Rare Headdress is so more better than the nr headdress. True, the Rare Headdress won't come back, but honestly. When AJ brings back Rare Headdresses in 2014, i will say ":3"

      Yeah........ I don't know if bringing back NEW colors will solve problems with people who want headdresses to stay rare. nr headdresses will eventually become more rare BECAUSE AJHQ will probably make them a monday rare or something

      Let's hope so. But they didn't do that for the Night of The Phantoms old witch hat, werewolf masks, Frankenstein mask and Medusa mask and so on. So we're not sure.

      That happened to me. I was a non-member, and I didn't know gloves were in stores. Then this guy gave me a black glove for hot cocoa. Boy, was I excited. Then someone traded me a purple for my black, and I went cray-cray! Next, I went to the Clothing Mart, and my soul sunk. But, really, I hate rares, because C'mon. They are a bunch of pixels we could make if we knew a bit of computer coding.

    i must say, i haven't seen the animal/item name number glitch. I first saw the glitch on Animal Jam Roar, but i was like "how is that a glitch? o_o"
    then i saw the last 2 items and i'm like "oh! there it is! xD"

      I hope those numbers don't disclose anything to hackers. ( no, not the type of hacker that guesses your password on aj the type of hacker that hacks aj itself)

      The numbers could mean the type of item, alert, animal, etc. for example: #8324 = Rare Shark Tooth Necklace.

      Yes, splashywaters. There is a different set of numbers for each item/and or new item. I don't know much more than that about coding, but i will do some research. 😀

      I was doing The Hive adventure, and I walked up to Greely and then walked away without talking to him. His little speech bubble popped up and had #6*** (that's all I remember XD) and it happened with two of my different species of animals. I think the numbers are a bit of coding assigned to every item and jammer/account to keep track of everything in AJ.

    This is actually a good post. I have seen that number glitch while on adventures. I thought it showed what number adventure I was playing. Pilgrim Hats are cool. Hopefully I can renew my membership this month so I can create new costumes.

    Has anybody noticed how some posts on the Daily Explorer seem different? I think AJHQ is being more creative with their blog, I like it :)

      Yeah these numbers...they could be like placeholders... maybe 6341 means user, 8324 means the rare tag thing, 4425 means name, 4426 means three-word name, etc

    I've seen almost every area where we find those numbers. I don't know what they mean. There is something wierd about those letters. Once in an alert with wierd numbers, I was like: "What did I do? Those are not even rules! XD"

      I got that number glitch, too. It was in a letter from someone. Anyway, I think I know the cause of this error. You know Animal Jam is a big game, right? Those are probably codes that AJHQ enters in that are suppose to be putting something in place of whatever those letters are.

      It happened to me when i got a kangaroo, i totally got mobbed with millions of people asking me to be their buddy like im Julian2. O___O I actually stopped using my kangaroo because of that, but now thankfully, i can use my kangaroo without getting mobbed.

      That happened to me last year when I got an arctic wolf when they were rare/mobbed although they ARENT RARE, NOT EVEN AT THAT TIME. I seriously got mobbed for doing my research. O_O

      I once tried that in lunchtime at school but i couldn't make it that big, But at the end of lunchtime i jumped on the pile and it was heaps of fun!! :DDDD But right now, there are no leaves because its late spring in here and the weather is rainy and cold. O.O

      Maybe, i think there the numbers of all the different sprites (like the objects, den items animals etc.) numbers? And its possible that AJ can have that many sprites so possibly, i agree that its about coding. o-o

    Hey Snowyclaw, something weird was happening in your den yesterday. Even though your den was a bunny burrow, we were UNDERWATER. All the tigers there were doing some sort of pouncing move too. O.O Everyone was invisible except for the tigers & ocean animals.

      it happened the day before the update, too. it also was switching dens after a while, and some people were on different dens so they go go to different places.

      Once, a weird glitch happened in my den. When i had made a hospital in my den and was pretending to be a doctor, my dens switched automatically! and it kept switching too! O.O

      This might seem like a cheat or hack but it ISN'T! I had a glitch that made some items, animals, etc. free!It was kinda lucky but unfair to other jammers who had to pay for stuff. It has gone though. I think A.J. has glitches w/ cons and pros.

    Has anyone been having trouble with playing the adventures? I tried to play some with a friend but when I got in, I only saw my nametag and I couldn't move and we had to leave the adventure. We tried again and the same thing happened for mostly all the adventures.... Though when I tried playing alone it worked. Has anyone else been having this problem?

      It happened to me, too! I was so frustrated. I wanted to play with my friend, but I had that problem and also it loaded too much to enter and I never entered.....

    Rainbowdasher2003 here! Adventures have been causing awful glitches to everyone. You try and get friends to enter an Adventure, and they say they're in, but you can't see them,and, if you enter one of those, you're invisible and can't move. If you have a pet, they're running in place. Check Jamaa Township out. Everyone else is having the same problems. The only solution to this I found was logging out and logging back in. -Rainbow o3o

      Ok, i was playing Splash N' Dash with my friend and then i see this really weird dolphin. He had those weird eyes, but i saw on his fins THE SHELL FIN ARMOR THAT WAS NEVER EVER RELEASED!!!
      i spazzed out and i failed the race because i was too bewildered seeing AJHQ. Now if u excuse me, im going to tell my closest friend o_o

    Snowy, have you seen the lag where you leave, say, Cosmo's den, and you're invisible and moving really fast? Then it goes to normal, but this is a new computer and good internet, so I don't know what happens.

      The glitch is happening to everyone, so rest assured that it's not your computer. I've had it happen and many other people have too.. My friend said there is "something wrong with AJ." I hope they fix this soon, adventuring was one of my favorite things to do on AJ....

      It does get super laggy. >_< Once, ofter i finished a game everyone had dissapeared including me! you couldn't even see their nametags or their chat bubbles! O.O you have to reload the page to escape out of that glitch.

    Maybe the numbers glitch is going to be a new strength symbol? Like for example, when you wear a sword in an adventure it gives you 8435 strength... Then again maybe not lol I can't see someone having THAT much strength lol. Who knows remember when the elf tail armour glitch that said like +25? Remember that? Who knows what that was about?

      Maybe in the future, the armors will protect us from the phantoms! Its very possible since the ads about AJ with the adventures, the animals are dressed in armors. Which reminds me, i had this really awesome dream some while ago about animal jam where you could get special attack strategies from the gifts in the adventures and use them to defeat the phantoms! :D That would be cool if AJHQ made something like that in the future, wouldn't it?

    The numbers are animal jams coding, these are the codes that store information. Normally these load extremely fast but I guess animal jam is having troubles with its sever. I'm thinking they're testing out the new animal as well as many strange new items seen on certain jammers.

    The game is full of coding. Coding is what makes animals work, coding is what makes it possible to move, coding is what makes it possible to change your animal. These numbers are tags used for the computers to understand. Each item and jammer's username will be turned into coding for the computer to understand. For example, each item has special numbers. A red worn could have the numbers #8575 or something like that...The codes with #s and numbers are like a language only computers can understand. But the codes showing up to normal jammers remains a mystery...

      0101010101 or something like that is binary. It's the most simple. Animaljam uses more complex stuff for it to work.

    I have had that glitch before! About three times. Twice on alerts, and one on getting a new animal. It's weird. Oh, and snowyclaw, in your den, there were tigers that were doing this weird sort of hopping, invisible land animals that were not tigers, and sea creatures like sharks, dolphins, swimming seals, swimming penguins, and octopuses! (I was a dolphin in your den). One more question snowy, are you a developer? It seems like you are. Please answer as soon as possible. Thanks!!

    The numbers probably are a code that symbolizes the word(s) that belong there. For example, #8324 could stand for the word, "rare".
