DeleteI'm honestly not scared of a self entitled "scammer" that's going to try and scam people on Christmas. " laugh as animal jam falls" ?? I don't think so. He's one person, not an army. But I will take the time to report him, thanks for the warning. Although I think you shouldn't spread the word too much this scammer probably just wants attention.

DeleteScamming will only work if people fall for it. And people have been falling for obvious scams all year long. It isn't some big great event that's going to end Jamaa. If scamming was going to end AJ it would have ended a long time ago.
Just be wise, and guard the things you care about. And don't trade any type of way besides the trading system and you'll be just fine.

DeleteLet's take a rational look at this situation. "Theraspberry" is, most likely, trying to frighten you. Who can scam over millions of jammers in one day? Secondly, why would someone waste their time scamming items when they could be working on(Or stealing) something much more important. Finally, if Theraspberry was truly a "famous" scammer, I would have heard about him. This man who have encountered was most likely a 'troller', trying to scare young children.
You have nothing to worry about. Besides, why fear someone who can't physically harm you or others? I hope this was reassuring.

DeleteIt depends on the color. I think the cream ones are more valuable than pink or blue because I see fewer cream ones out there, and they are most pretty to me.
DeleteI would go ahead and guess that you could probably get a beta arctic hood for maybe a couple of nature archways... or one nonrare headdress. Some people trade them for much lower than that though. Shop around and compare different peoples "prices". :P
I think too there is a chance they may come out in the Mt. Shiveer store. So I wouldn't trade for one just yet until i was sure they're not coming back that year.

ReplyDeleteTherasberry is a threat and all scammers do is take items and scare us with fear when trading , but scammers just don't have a chance ! One thing i am thankful is that the amount of scammers have dramatically decreased over the months. Thats a change we should all be grateful for!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I mean if scammers threaten to report you if you don't give them what they want, don't give in. Just leave, and make sure everyone knows they're a scammer. Besides even if they do report you, you probably won't get banned and if you do just explain the situation to aj. You can send them an email or call them. It also helps to have proof so take a few screenshots of what the scammer is saying to try and scam you. Most importantly if its too good to be true it probably isn't true. I learned that lesson the hard way lol.
DeleteBeing reported for no reason won't get you banned. If the AJ mods see the report, then go to your chat archive, and they read through it, and don't see anything negative in your chat history, then no action will be taken.
DeleteDon't be scared of a scammer. Just block them. Magically silent!!!! Problem solved. :P
I don't know... In my opinion scammers have increased. I even caught one of my older buddies scamming people. He was good too. I really hate scammers. The satisfactory in finally getting something you've always wanted in a fair trade jammers is one of the best feelings you'll ever get on Animal Jam. Oh besides helping jammers who need it.

ReplyDeleteHanukkah is a holiday celebrated by some people. It's celebrated around the globe every year. Starting November 27, a family lights one candle and gives a present. The holiday is only celebrated for 8 days. I hope I taught you a good lesson! ^-^
