Oh my goodness – it's Peck! The eyes are almost anime in style, so oversized, but I think they achieved her shaman "punk rock" look with that crazy hair! What do you think? In plushie news...

The wacky identification codes are still appearing in jammer adventures, and it seems the "I" mark is used as a divisor between each of these number segments. Seems pretty strange to me.

I play the clarinet and in 8th grade, and I'm not that good at it. XD I know, after having a very long slur, it is very difficult to not breathe. I never played the song you said, but I have to perform a song that's 4 pages long in a few weeks- with lots of difficult notes. (I know this probably isn't that helpful cuz I don't actually play the flute.) But some advice is: keep on practicing and see how long you can hold a note/more notes for. (:

I have played flute and saxophone for 3 years now. I'm in 8th grade. To help with slurs you just need to practice. I know you probably hear that a lot, but it's true, it will help make your lugs stronger, therefore, allowing you to breathe longer. E naturals weren't ever hard for me but it was looking at the key signature that was, I would always do the normal E and B flat key signature. But it's easier now, since I have played for a while. I'm still not good at the really high G, F sharp, and E natural, it's not even the notes but the transition to the notes. The only place where practice comes before success is in the dictionary. To get better you need to practice.

DeleteWhen I first started flute, (in fourth grade), I was terrible, after a WHOLE NOTE (four beats long) I ran out of breath, I couldn't play... I was absolutely terrible!! but, I practiced and never gave up, and in both fifth and sixth grade, I got accepted into all-county band (which is the best of the best (sorry if Im sounding like I'm bragging)) and my band teacher say's I am the best flute player... Also I got to play solos and in a short song (for two years) in front of the third grade, since they are going into band next year, to know what each instrument sounds like, and to help them pick the instrument they are going to play last year. And remember, in fourth grade I was TERRIBLE, and I wanted to quit after like, a week. But this jut goes to show, practice makes perfect. So just keep on trying and never give up ;D

I play the viola, and although I don't like practicing sometimes, I feel that it is a truly beautiful instrument. The poor thing is hardly ever known, though, and no one even knows what the alto clef (the clef the viola uses) is anymore. D:

It's interesting, but also boring to practice. The only time I really enjoy practicing is when I get to play whatever I like, and then it sounds really pretty. :3

DeleteHey guys! I made an outfit on Animal Jam. It's my monkey, he's supposed to be Graham's son. His name is Ronan and I use him in a roleplay that I do with some of my friends. :3
ReplyDeleteIn the roleplay (let me just do a quick review), my den was a place called the Wasteland. Nothing was in it, nobody came there. But then, we came there one day and we say a poster that said "wanted" and it had a picture of Greely. We both gasped, and decided to leave. As we reached the entrance there were phantom vines that weren't there when we arrived. I told my friend that we had to leave fast because the phantoms were here, just hiding. When we came back the next day there was a phantom-ified execution chair with seats around it. I told my friend frantically that the phantoms were probably planning to use this chair to shock innocent jammers to death. While trying to fix the problem I got stuck in the chair, but escaped and ended up living. But then SHE got stuck in the chair XD. In the end we left to go to her den, but I went back to the Wasteland. Graham and my friend came looking for me and asked why I had returned to the Wasteland. I replied with a bunch of explanations of how I couldn't just "let go" of the Wasteland because I used to hang out there all the time. In the process, I got captured by the phantoms and put in the chair. While my friend tried to help me, Graham was warding off the phantoms. When we all escaped, we decided never to come back. (But I secretly still spy on the place from a distance and observe what the phantoms construct on the empty Wasteland >:3)
And the phantoms are still constructing stuff in my den :O
Also, does anybody have any phantom plushies? I can trade you any store-bought item of your choice

I tried a plushie store, and I would recommend doing it, people are willing to trade rares for plushies they really want. ;)

A few hours have passed since Sir told me the truth about my powers and parents. Now, I was okay again (not crying; being frustrated at my parents for lying to me all this time, etc.) It was sunset now; and Sir, the other "chosen" Jammers, and I were hanging out in the Adventure Base Camp. We were the only ones in the Base Camp- probably until tomorrow during the day when ordinary Jammers would come here. We weren't in the Crystal Circle, though. We were all in the middle of the Base Camp sitting around. Everyone had on a sad and grim expression because I would enter the Grand Portal to fight the Phantom King very soon. I think I'm prepared: I took a nap so I wouldn't be as tired, and I practiced by myself with my bow and arrows (Thankfully my bow is rare- endless arrows given.) But what surprised me was that everyone was acknowledging that I was going to fight the Phantom King- even Sparkle and Daredevil (they dreaded being here due to me, at first.) Then Sir stood up, holding a heart locket.
Sir spoke, "Precious, you'll be fighting the Phantom King soon. We all know that it will be a very difficult task to defeat him. Even you know that; it would still be difficult for you, even if you do have powers. Because... you all know I have powers, right?" The rest of us nodded at Sir. "I was once ordered to enter the Grand Portal to fight the Phantom King, but... but I failed. Then the Alphas (especially Greely- oh Greely!) were upset with me. They never listened to me again, we will prove them wrong!" I looked back at Sir. He had tears in his eyes- was this too emotional for him or something? He continued again. "Okay Precious, since this will be an extremely difficult task, the least I can do is give you a good luck charm." He smiled. He put the heart locket he had around my neck. "This is your good luck charm." He explained.
I smiled at it. "Sir, it's beautiful. Thank you," I said softly. Now I had on a heart locket as well as my equipment- my light blue fox hat, and my blue rare bow and arrows. It was followed by everyone else saying stuff like "Good luck, Precious." "Goodbye, Precious. You'll do great." etc.
The sun completely disappeared beyond the horizon. It was nighttime now. It was time to enter the Portal. I waved goodbye to the rest of the Jammers. Sir led me towards the Grand Portal. It was just me and him. With his eyes blazing like dark fire, he looked at me. "Complete the prophecy," he whispered. "I know that you'll be the one to stop the Phantom King and the other phantoms. You will bring peace to this land of Jamaa again- even if you weren't born here." Sir bowed. "Good luck Precious, for you'll create a difference in the world- and it's not going to be a destruction."
I hugged Sir. "Th-Thank you Sir, for everything. You're the best someone could ever ask for. Goodbye, Sir. Thank you." It was the time to enter the Portal. I waved my tail goodbye to everyone one last time and entered the Grand Portal.
PS: When I said "Parts 1,2,3,4" those are the parts of my story when Precious is in the Base Camp. That isn't the entire beginning of the story. *-*

I walked out of the green clear-like substance, also known as the Grand Portal. I immediately had an uncomfortable feeling. Where in the name of Zios was the Phantom King- or ANY phantoms? The new place frightened me. It was way darker here than just outside the Portal. There were tons of undergrowth, thankfully so I could hide away from phantoms if I had to. But there were more bad factors than good, unfortunately. I was surrounded by very tall trees that faded into the dark, gloomy clouds, and these trees had burnt bark with no branches to climb up on. It also felt like it might snow heavily at every given moment, yet the skies were clear (even with the always dark and gloomy clouds.)
I finally decided to walk forward. I had to do this! I also remembered what would happen if I defeated the King: I could finally exit this dreaded place and get a membership/higher status in the Jamaasian society. I shivered. What I didn't know was: what would happen if I don't defeat the King? Would I be trapped in this place? The fur along my back stuck up. I frowned in confusion. A dead end. I looked back; endless rows of those strange trees. I couldn't go back that way anyways. It smelled deadly- like phantoms. The highest level phantoms who worked for the Phantom King. These would be the hardest phantoms to defeat.
I then lay down in the brittle soil of this place. "Oh Mira and Zios,"I prayed. "Please help me fight these phantoms. At least give me a clue of where they might be." I sat up and looked beyond all the trees. Shadows- phantom shadows. They were far away. I had to travel far to get close enough to attack them. "Thanks Mira and Zios." I murmured.
Suddenly, I heard a crack. My ears perked up. I was so scared that I ran back through the trees. I ended somewhere else, since I ran in a different direction. "Oh Sir!" I howled up towards the sky. "You never told me it was going to be this hard!" I sighed as I reminded myself that I (only me) could defeat the phantoms, then the Phantom King. I never felt so helpless in my life before.
Wow! amazing. I don't think I read the first chapters, but its still good. :)
