Hey jammers! Cutegirl2001 posting, here to tell that today's rare is the urban Rare Leaf Necklace on the fifth page of Jamaa Mart Clothing
Cool, it's purple leaves! You could make an organic purple animal with this one.....Wait....must...resist...fashion...urge...
Well the necklace itself looks pretty awesome, but the eyes.... *shivers >.<

Who knew something so mundane could turn bad? Double shivers!

Speaking of shiver, Mount Shiveer seems to have been dulled, because there used to be Monday Rares popping up in the Hot Cocoa hut, or Daily Explorer articles, but there hasn't been anything for a while. What do you jammers want to know about Mount Shiveer? Or, what information do you want to share about Mount Shiveer? It could be theories, stories, whatever, just a topic of wonder :)

Monday Mystery Time!!!!
At Bunnies Only parties, there are numerous drums and subtle drawings of Peck. Why are the drums so important to rabbits? Is it a sign? Like the previous week, best story gets the best prize, and I'll announce who won the next time I post!

~
P.S. Don't forget to send in picture of full plushie collections, if you have one! Happy jamming!

    7. Peck is an artist. Art includes music. I think the drums could be Peck's. If the Shamans are like gods, then they can turn giant, right?

As always, this is what I think.

    13. OK, I just wanna say:

      1. As always, great post.
      2. IT'S NOT A DINOSAUR.
      3. Dinosaurs lived of land and the creatures that lived underwater then were a whole different thing. They died out at the same time as the dinosaurs so LOADS of people get mixed up. I'm sorry I've forgotten the name of those animals but I'm pretty sure the creature under the ice is a Pleisaur. I will try and find out the name of these underwater animals soon!

      Just sayin' !

    14. Actually its still a dinosaur except of a different kind (ITs still classified a dinosaur except they live in water plus all dinosaurs are reptiles), I didn't notice that thing there since i heard of it.

    15. I think the dinosaur is called a Nessie. It looks just like one, they both have long necks. Animal jam also made Nessie masks as a underwater head item so i think animal jam knows what a Nessie is.

What a cool rare i think it looks really good on my eagle.

    BUT THOSE EYES.....

and i think the drums used to be used by bunnys in ceremonies when they bounced on them and made a thumping sound.
Some ceremonies could be... A Bunnys Death, a New Leader bunny or a new bunny that has been born.

  10. Actually those drums must be etertainment for the bunnies and a special connection! It must be made by Peck to bring her spirit-As you see when 10 or more bunnies jump the spirit of Peck comes from the windows or things, idk. So Peck is known as the bunny alpha eh? Well she may be known as that but she remains hopping as a mystery..

  11. Peck helped design the Bunnies Only party, and when she did, she was punk-rock, right? So she made lots of opportunities for the bunnies to entertertain themselves, like hopping on drums, since bunnies are so known for hopping.

  15. Here goes my story:

Long ago in Jamaa, bunnies never jump. They didn't receive the gift of hopping. Peck was one of those bunnies. It started when she was on a hill, playing with a bongo drum. She was good with instruments but her drum was her personal favourite. She plays with that instrument 12 hours a day, 5 days a week. It was her favourite hobby.

One day, Peck decided to climb higher to the mountain, so it can be more quiet whenever she plays with her drum. She had a hard time going from a climbable rock to another with her drum on her back. She made it on top after 30 minutes of climbing. But she didn't know that she wasn't the alone one at the top. She went to the cliff and played with her drum, and never realized a strange figure that ran towards her and pushed her off the cliff. The drum fell first and was going down super fast. Peck was behind, tried to reach for her drum but failed. Peck thought that it was her end. BOING. She was flying and she dived in a little pool of water.
"What was that?" Pecked asked to herself.
She ran back where she fell and saw her drum sitting there perfectly. Was it possible that the drum made her fly? Was it a new trampoline? Peck had an idea, since bunnies didn't know how to jump she can teach bunnies how.

And that was when drums were welcomed in the underground world of bunnies and that bunnies can jump. Bunnies use them for testing their hopping skills. Peck will always watch them whenever more than 3 bunnies jump on the big drum that is located near her little house. The symbol shows that bunnies were the founders of hopping and inventors of trampolines in Jamaa. Peck was the hero of hopping.

I hope you enjoyed! It's a good story to me. ^.^

    2. the reason that there are drums is because peck has a dark secret, she cat hop that well! Peck had a trampoline in her burrow and after a long day of painting she would hop and hop until she was so tired that she would fall asleep! One day the alphas decided to have a meeting in the burrow because they wanted to open it up to all the bunny's of jamaa. Peck needed to cover up all of the trampolines so her secret would be safe. quickly she covered them up with some brown cloth then she painted on them so it would look nice. When the alphas came sir gilbert fell on one of the trampolines and it made a strange sound.

      Delete
    3. Peck though that it sounded cool so she put many of those around the burrow after all of the alphas decided that the bunny's of jamma could come in for a party! peck decided to call the trampoline covered with cloth a "drum" because of the sound it made! and now if you jump on the biggest drum at the bunny's only party you will see peck, still trying to hop better, hopping with you.
      the end! :D

    7. Here's my story!
      ~Chapter one~
Long ago when Peck was still a normal bunny in the normal everyday world, she had been known as the "Master Of Hopping."
One peaceful morning, she and her older sister, Daisy where practicing hopping. "This time, im gonna jump higher!" Daisy said playfully. "No you won't, im the master!" Peck replied. They gathered up strength, then flew into the air. Peck hopped higher.
      "Almost." said Peck.
"It's not fair! The ground is far too hard and bumpy for my paws, but it doesn't concern you because your paw-pads are hard, unlike mine! Im not playing anymore." Daisy walked to her burrow, head hanging low.

Now her sister did sometimes complain a lot, but she WAS still her sister and Peck hated to see anyone getting upset.
She ate supper in a hurry, and rushed down to the garage which was a dark, airless room at the very bottom of the burrow.
"There must be something useful.. i remember a soft bouncy thing that i used to practice hopping on when i was a baby. Oh, where is it?"
After about an hour of searching, Peck finally found it.
It was a trampoline, but Peck had forgotten the name, and unfortunately it had a large hole in it.
"Oh.. right. That's why i stopped using it." Peck sighed miserably.
"But.. there must be something in in Edward Bunny's shop!"
She rushed up the burrow and into her bedroom, then she gathered all her money in her bunny bank.
      ~Chapter two~
Hello there, Peck! Need any help?" Edward Bunny said as she entered the shop.
"I need a large piece of elestic cloth, strong enough to hold a two bunnies. Have any?" peck replied. "Sure, i do." He replied. He gave Peck a quite large piece of elastic cloth. "That will be five dollars!" He said. Peck looked at her hand and counted the money. Ah, yes, it was just enough! Feeling quite happy, Peck handed her the money. She walked to her burrow, went to her mother's room, grabbed a needle and thread, and then sewed the cloth onto the patch on the trampoline.
She pricked her paw one or twice, but at the end she had sewn it on quite nicely.
Then she asked her father to help take the trampoline outside.

Peck had butterflies in her tummy. Oh, how exciting she will be to see this! She thought.
"Daisy?" She whispered, knocking on the door.
      "Go away" Daisy mumbled.
"But i have got a "surprise" for you!" She said.
"A suprise? Wait a moment." Daisy replied.
      ~Chapter Three~
"Now, open your eyes." Peck said.
"WOW! You fixed the trampoline?! Just for me?"
      "yup." Peck replied.
      "thanks SO much!!" Daisy exclaimed.
They both hopped on the trampoline happily till supper.
~8 years later, when the Shamans where new to Jamaa.~
Peck was working hard on designing the Bunny only party. "It's missing something.." She thought.
"Wait, of course, the trampolines!" She thought again.
Peck put the trampolines all over the party, but she decided they needed a bit of decoration so she covered them with cloth and drew some pictures on them.
And ever since then, those trampolines, or drums are still in the Bunnies only party, with all the bunnies of Jamaa hopping happily on them.
Hope you liked it! Sorry it was kinda rushed though.

  18. I think that maybe the drums are a ancient form of communication, used from huge distances. and the drums are tuned so that they are best heard by bunnies. or they are decorative symbols. like a coat of arms they make the family or house of certain rabbits.

  19. Story – why drums are important to bunnies (story for Monday Mystery)

Once every year, or when a lot of bunnies gather in one place, the bunnies start hopping on the big drum, and beat their tiny drums. Why do they do this? To summon Peck, who teaches them art of music, art, and renews their power to hop. Here is how it all started-
A long time ago, in the very corners of Jamaa, Peck and two of her bunny students were lounging in the cool green grass, playing music. The sound of the beautiful music rose up into the sky, creating a sense -an urge- to reach up there. And Peck urged them to do just that. The up and down motion of the drums led the bunnies to copy that pattern, and soon they were bouncing, up and up, into the air, and then back down onto the firm ground. The bunnies showed all the bunnies how to hop, and all of them felt the power of the sky, and their love of their teacher of all things, Peck. The bunnies used to just love the ground, but Peck taught them to love all things- including both the sky and the ground. The power of Peck reminds the bunnies to hop- to reach their beloved sky that their ancestors used to hop to.

  20. Drum story:
Long ago bunnys found it difficult to hop properly, so they'd hop like:
    BOOOING-BADOING-BOIBADADOING-BOING-BOING-BOINGY.
No rhythm. No direction. No order. Just chaos hopping from A-B meandering crazily. It never worked. So whenever a bunny approached the other animals scattered, desperately avoiding the bouncing bunnys. Mira saw this, and wanting all animals to get along together she realised she needed a plan. What could make the bunnys bounce properly? Mira thought about this all night, bunnys, hopping, rhythm, bunnys, hopping, rhythm, bunnys, hopping, rhythm, bunnys, hopping, rhythm, bunnys, hopping, rhythm...
Until, she realised, it was obvious! She set to work on her new idea, then called the most bouncy, unruly, craziest bunny over. "Peck!" she called, "Come here, I need a favour..."
Peck hurried over, eager to please, when she finally found herself hopping in the right direction she looked eagerly up at Mira, bunnys weren't often called upon for favours, as they couldn't hop right and do much for that reason.
"Could you hop over to that stone there?" Mira indicated with her wing. Peck's tiny heart sank, the stone was only about 3 meters away, but to an un-organised bouncing bunny like peck it could take HOURS to get there, and she had better things to do, like playing pranks on the other alphas, than trying to get to a stone for no apparent reason, but Mira had asked her so she tried anyway. She didn't realise that as she bounced she bounced on Mira's new idea - DRUMS, Peck's feet hopped on the drums, to a rhythm,

    BA-DUM BA-DUM BA-DUM BA-DUM BA-DUM BA-DUM BA-DUM

and as she hopped in time to her own hopping, she found her rhythm in the drums, steadily then quicker making her way to the rock. With shining eyes she thanked Mira and handed the drums to her rabbit friends, and they partied all night, hopping their own rhythm and finally able to go where they wanted. Now, the rabbits of Jamaa no longer need the drums wherever they go, but they still like to listen to their own rhythm, so they hold a party every so often, just like the first moonlit one, where bunnys can beat out their hopping skills together, and summon the spirit of peck too, maybe even take their own little drum home from the party to beat whenever they want.

    1. My Monday Mystery:
*When it first started out c;*
"How's this burrow, Peck, for your home and to socialize with the other bunnies of Jamaa?" Mira asked Peck in the burrow. Peck scanned the plain dirt clearing, which was the burrow. "Hmm..." Peck began scratching an ear. "Just about perfect... Aha! I have an idea, Mira!" Mira folded her wings down and sat next to a hoppy Peck. Peck continued, "So Mira, you know that I'm the musical one of the Alphas who like to party, right? So how about lets add some drums and make this place a gathering and party place for the bunnies of Jamaa." "Okay," Mira thought. "Where though?" Peck hopped down a staircase towards the bottom most section of the bunny burrow. She pointed her paw with a paintbrush at a section that had nothing. And so Mira and Peck gathered some old clothes and hollow bins, and put them down. Mira set the last old cloth on top of the last hollow bin. Mira looked satisfied but asked Peck how it was. "Almost there," Peck laughed. "The other bunnies have to know that this place symbolizes me." With a paintbrush in one of her paws, she drew very quickly a sketch of herself on top of every one of the things- which they now called "drums". Then an excited young Peck hopped on top of the largest drums in the middle. She hopped off. In the outline of Peck's sketch of herself, was a bright glowing purple light. Mira looked. "Peck has been here and this is her spirit." Peck smiled and gave a little bounce of joy.

    2. Monday Mystery continued:
      *Modern Day*
Enchanted (aka: my bunny) ran excitedly down the stairs of the Bunnies-Only party. Nibbling a carrot at the same time, she ran down the last few steps, tail bobbing. "Time to hop for Peck," Enchanted smiled. She took a grand hop and landed on top of Peck's sketch from so long ago on top of the largest drum. Enchanted looked around. Tons of other bunnies were hopping too. Another bunny called Mythical hopped the highest, her ears stretching towards the sky- the ceiling of the burrow, anyways. Enchanted focused. She took a little bounce and then began taking big hops. "Whoa," Mythical gasped. The other bunnies turned their heads. Enchanted turned her head as well. On the cave part where no mortal bunny (not Peck) could go, the bunnies saw Peck's spirit hopping in and out of the holes in the cave. "Wow! Peck is hopping with us. She's joining us." Enchanted giggled. The sudden bright and glowing light vanished. It became plain and dark again. Peck's spirit had vanished back into her special cave. The Jamaasian bunnies frowned, clearly disappointed. They continued hopping, awaiting seeing Peck and her spirit come again.

      THE END :D

  22. ∞Beating Drums in the Light of the Full Moon∞
(A legend in full detail (HD lol)

"I gotta get home fast!" Jumping Spiritbunny, exclaimed hopping as fast as she could. Jumping Spiritbunny was a young bunny, with pink fur, and purple lighting marks. Her eyes were little black beads, that stood out from her face. Up in the sky, the moon glittered, being a sliver from full. The stars twinkled in the sky, but it was no time to be sight seeing for the little bunny, she was in danger. A wolf who was black, with only ferocious red eyes and snow white tribal markings, was chasing her. "Raagh! I will eat you up! In our pack food is scarce!" He screamed, sounding like a crazy psycho. He had foam forming on his mouth, sputtering out of his clenched teeth. His eyes showed a hatred of every living thing that could potentially become a meal. Jumping started hopping faster, turning to leaps. Her heart was was pounding fast, very fast. She was afraid it would burst out of her chest. There in the distance, was her home. But, the wolf was catching up to her. She would never make it, as it was about 5 yards away...

CRASH!! The wolf had tumbled on a gigantic root, but Jumping was to scared of him catching up, that she didn't stop. She was almost there, but the wolf had gotten back up. "You will not escape my grasp just because..." he seemed to dwindle off before continuing, "I seemed to have taken a tumble!" He laughed manically and sped up. She was half a yard from the hole, would she make it? *I will never make it, he is almost in snagging range* she though to herself. Jumping was now at 2 feet from the den, and her decision was final. She would attempt to jump 1 1/2 feet.

(Now the Drums are Introduced :D)

Wind flittering through her fur, she had made the leap, but not quite far enough. *Agh! I didn't make it* she though urgently to herself, then screamed for help, "HELP!" She was only 6 inches from the den entrance, but she was exhausted, and could not move. "I will save you!" her brother, Daredevil Spiritbunny picked her up by the arms and dragged her inside. "Why were you out so late?" he questioned her.
"I can't explain, but lets get to the drum ceremony," Jumping said. The hopped to the ceremony halls, as an irritated wolf batted at the hole.

    K'DUM DUM TH'DUM DUM K'DUM DUM...

The Drums beat as everyone got seated. Rumbling the floor, making it harder to hop. The chief stood at the pedestal, where he was placing the Mira Gem in a little nook near the heart of the Mira statue. It glowed intensely for a few seconds before dying down. The chief turned around, and calmly said, "My granddaughter, Jumping Spiritbunny, has been called upon by the great Mira!" The whole crowd was silent, but the Drums beat louder than ever. Then they too stopped as a beautiful bird flew in from a hole in the ceiling, and took Jumping away.

They arrived at alpha HQ, and Mira whispered in a calm voice, "You are destined to become an alpha... and Drums are your symbolizer, and spirit item. Your name will be chosen by the Drums..." Mira laid two Drums on the grass in front of the huge stone spire that made the alpha HQ. "I would like you to hop on them. The drums will speak." Mira said more loudly than before. Jumping hopped on the drum, as it began to vibrate, she could feel power reverberating in side her. They began to glow, and the power and vibration was changing her shape. The lighting bolts shaped hair upon her head, she could now stand upon her hind legs. Mira announced "Peck is your name!" The moon was still high in the sky, and a beam shone upon the drums, and a small pattern of a bunny appeared.

    Epilogue

Now all drums bear the symbol of Peck, and if they wish, they could summon her, but no one has fully done it yet...

  27. Well, here's my story.

During ancient times, all the bunnies through out Jamaa had made drums. They always hopped on them for special ceremonies, ancient parties, and maybe just for others to enjoy.

But when the phantoms invaded, the bunnies were forced to leave Jamaa. During that time, the bunnies had realized something. They had all left their drums! The drums were located in a huge cave were all the bunnies used to gather.

Also, Peck, the bunny Alpha, was the only bunny who stayed in Jamaa during the invasion. She was actually the bunny who told the other bunnies to leave Jamaa for a while, only for their safety.
After the invasion with the phantoms, Peck was wondering around Jamaa, searching for any animal that was injured. Then, Peck found a cave. When she went inside, her eyes lit up with happiness. It was the drums of the bunnies.

Peck traveled back to Mira, as fast as she could. "Mira!" Shouted Peck. "We must invite all the bunnies back to Jamaa!"
"And why is that, Peck?" Mira calmly said.
"Because....I have found all their drums.. and I don't want to be the only bunny in Jamaa! I want my family to be here..!" Peck exclaimed, as hard as she could.
"Then they shall be back." said Mira.
Peck, as fast as she could, searched hard throughout Jamaa, for her family. After a while, she found all of them, in a cave. One of the bunny child's noticed Peck. The child's eyes lit up.
"Look everyone! It's Peck, the bunny Alpha!"

All of the bunnies, big and small, young and old, surrounded Peck.
"Don't worry, my family. I'm here to bring you all back to Jamaa! And we shall all celebrate, with all our drums!" Exclaimed Peck.
All the bunnies cheered of Peck. They all traveled back to Jamaa with Peck at their side, as Mira welcomed them back.

When all the bunnies went back to their cave full of drums, they drew Peck on the drums, as appreciation for bringing them back to Jamaa. Peck would always visit them, hopping around happily.

And that folks, is why the drums are so important to the bunnies.
I hope you enjoyed my story :)

  29. My story...... :3

Long ago when the Alphas walked amongst the jammers.... They were celebrating pecks birthday. They played drums for everything! The children were playing and one asked a question... "Why do we always play drums at celebrations?" They asked eagerly. "Why, do you want to know the story?" Peck asked calmly. "Yes, yes!" The children said excitedly. "Alright then.." Peck said with a smile. "Long long ago, When Zois and Mira were still in this land... I was about your age..." "OUR AGE??" Said a young male rabbit cutting Peck off. "Yes its a blessing Ive lived this long..." Said Peck sort of offended. "Well where was I, Oh yes I was a child and me and my friends went out to play." Said Peck. "We came across a cave, We went inside and found some drums with rabbits on them. We didn't know where they came from, But I think Zois created them for us to find!" Said Peck kind of laughing. " We brung them to the camp and beat on them for awhile. We showed the leader, my father the drums and he loved them! He said they were special an-" Peck stopped and yelled "PHANTOMS! Grab the children and run everyone!" Peck said nervously. She beat most of them but she got cornered by armored phantoms and blacked out. She woke up coughing in a black room with 3 windows, a heart, a diamond and a mushroom looking shape. A phantom apeered. "Where am I? How do I get out?!" Peck said nervously. The phantom laughed " You know those drums? Enough rabbits have to jump on them to get YOU out!" Said the phantom. "Now have fun, Ha ha ha!" Laughed the phantom.

  30. In the land of Jamaa, a long time ago, the bunnies were thought to be the most dull, most boring animals in Jamaa. Peck, being a bunny, was always very frustrated by this. She often spoke out to the bunnies, telling them to live a little, but they were always too scared. So one day, Peck being the rebelliously artistic bunny she was, had a plan...
She thought and planned and plotted for many days and many nights until she had an idea. She asked other animals for help to bring the shy bunnies out of their shells. And then at last... her plan was complete...
At night, Peck hopped around all the burrows where the bunnies lived and placed strange bowl-ish things outside. They were like giant bowls with lids. When morning finally came, the bunnies woke up and went outside to see...
PHANTOMS! Outside each burrow were phantoms, cornering them and terrorizing the bunnies. Peck came out of her own den, pretending to be in distress. She knew what was going on since she planned the whole thing. The phantoms were just animals of Jamaa dressed up to scare the bunnies into playing the drums and alerting others. Peck thought that they would enjoy using the drums once they tried!
"Help!" Peck yelled. "Phantoms! We have to warn everyone else!" Peck looked around wildly. "Let's try banging on these in a rhythm to scare the phantoms away!" Peck started banging on her drum, but to her surprise, no one else joined in. Peck looked around, confused. The banging just seemed to make the bunnies more scared! Peck didn't know what to do. She tried to talk to the bunnies over the noise and screaming, but she couldn't. It wasn't like Peck to give up so easily, but she didn't think there was anything she could do to console the bunnies.
Then suddenly, there was a bright, flashing light that caused silence. The bunnies and Peck gaped in awe. Down came a glowing figure, too bright to make out who it was. When the light died away, Peck recognized her to be Mira. She sat down respectfully in front of her.
"Peck." Mira's voice was stern but loving. "What have you done?" Peck looked up, not knowing how to explain.
"I... I was trying..." Peck stumbled and stuttered as she tried to find the right words. "I just..." Peck threw her paws up in the air. "I wanted to get these bunnies to try something new! They're always so scared all the time, and I thought I could get them to appreciate music by being forced to play! They're not real phantoms, just my friends dressed up." She took a breath. "It was just a trick." Mira slightly smiled.
"Peck, you know this wasn't the right way to get someone to try something new. Next time, no more tricks." She left. Once Mira was gone, a young bunny said," I wan't to try that thing! It looks fun!" He hopped over to a drum and began banging repeatedly, a smile on his face. Soon, everyone had joined in, even Peck. To this day, drums are important and special to bunnies because it reminds them to live a little, and the trick Peck played on them.

    1. Sorry this story is kinda short and not too detailed, didn't have a whole lot of time. Hope you enjoy it anyway!

      Part 1
Peck sighed, looking around at the ruins of yet another den destroyed. The lion has struck, yet again. The lion had just been a minor nuisance at first, playing silly pranks, but soon, he had turned out to be a danger to all bunnies. Every day, another bunny would wake up to find their den torn apart. Something needs to be done, determined Peck.

Blaze woke up at a shriek coming from her neighbor’s den. Jumping up from her bed, she bounded over to the fence. Peering over, she shivered at the sight that lay before her.
The den seemed to have collapsed, with everything squashed underneath. Blaze spotted a pale silver bunny that was knocked out. She was being carried away by two tigers. Some might assume this was the result of an earthquake. But Blaze knew better. It was the work of the lion.
Hopping over the fence, Blaze raced over to Peck. “Was it the lion?”
Peck nodded gravely. “It seems he will go to no ends to destroy all the bunnies. I don’t think anyone will be able to stop him.”
Blaze gazed around at the ruins, and felt anger surge through her. Whoever this lion was, he had no right to terrify innocent bunnies! “Well, maybe someone will try,” muttered Blaze.
That night, Blaze invited her friend, Splash, to her house by jamagram to help her catch the lion.
“I checked the houses he’s been destroying, and it seems that he’s been going in a line. My house seems to be next. We’ll stay up and catch him!” Blaze declared forcefully to Splash as she paced up and down the floor.
Splash shot Blaze a nervous glance. “Blaze, I’m not so sure about this.”
      “Don’t worry, Splash. I have a plan.”

      Delete
    2. Part 2
Blaze shoved Splash into her bed.
“This is your plan? Using me as bait?” Splash snarled through her teeth.
“Shh! Just be quiet! I’ll be waiting in the closet, and I’ll jamagram Peck for help as soon as he comes!”
Silence passed between the two for a long time. Then… Thump. Crash.
Someone came stomping up the stairs. Splash shot Blaze a look of pure terror before burying herself in blankets. Blaze started writing a jamagram to Peck when-
“Don’t even think about it!” Blaze was bowled over by a huge paw. A shadowy black animal with a black mask stood over her. Blaze was preparing herself to scream when his paw clamped over her mouth.
Blaze could see Splash jump from the bed, looking horrified and helpless. The lion pinned her down with his other paw. Blaze closed her eyes to prepare for the worst when she heard - a drum. Looking up, no one or drum was in the room, but the sound vibrated as clearly as if it were in the room. A moment later, bunnies swarmed through the room, carrying nets. The lion let go of Blaze and Splash as a net was thrown over him.
The crowd parted as Peck walked through. “How- how did you know?” Stammered Blaze.
“My spirit is always with you,”murmured Peck. “As is the drum, which is, and has always been, special to me.”
From then on, the drum was always important to the bunnies.

  33. Before the days of animal equality bunnies were looked down upon in Jamaa. Of course they were kind and peaceful, but also tiny and needy and that caused the rest of the animals to find distaste within their personalities. Peck, their Shaman had told them to simply dismiss the other animal's accusations and continue to do what they did best; gather herbs for all Jamaasians. The other animals of course had much more interesting jobs; Horses competed in races, Koalas and Pandas explored the wilds and wolves were often musicians. Being a musician in Jamaa allowed most of the townsfolk to know which wolf was which. As their popularity grew wolves became arrogant and picked on bunnies; calling them mean names and such. The bunnies decided to tell Peck. The rabbit shaman could tell her people were distressed but for peace to remain she couldn't do anything besides tell them to take it. However this time Gordon, a skillful gatherer, refused saying they should some how prove that they were as good as any other animal. The rest of the bunnies agreed and left Peck in her home in Coral Canyons. Bunnies, although cute and skilled in gathering, didn't have many likeable qualities except that they could hop all the way up to a giraffe's head. Finally after hours of brainstorming the idea came to a bunny named Montague. Montague was excellent at hopping at suspected that if they did well enough they could show up the wolves' singing with their drumming. Normally Elephants drummed with their trunks but it wasn't a favorable instrument the drum. When they time came the bunnies did much better than wolves and earned their equality and respect from all animals. The drum today is a symbol to all bunnies that every animal is important, no matter their size or skill.

  36. hi! wolfsrock87878 here with another story that hopefull you will all enjoy!

    Peck's history
Peck stood looking at her angry father who glared down at her for entering an art contest. "I'm sorry dad! I didn't know you don't want me to draw!" her father beign as grumpy as he was refused to listen and sent her to her room where she cried for hours. she just wanted to draw, was that so much to ask for? Peck chose she would run away, but before she did she put on a rockin' outift and grabbed paper and paint brushes and took off right past her father! little did she know that phantoms were taking over at that very moment. as she left her burrow behind she ran for hours. fianlly she saw a town up ahead. as she approached Jamaa Township she tripped and didn't get up. She awoke later in what is now the bunnies only party. three bunnies looked down at her murmuring "is this the promised one?" and "is this the bunny hero Mira promised?" at first Peck panicked and tried to get up but her body felt like stone, she could not move. Peck screamed "where am i ho are you???!!!!!!!" One of the bunnies the oldest looked deep into her eyes, Peck gasped as she saw his icy blue gaze burn into her, with his black fur shimmering in the dim light. "easy now," he murmured "i am Shadow, you are in the bunnies secret shrine, you are safe." Not feeling convinced Peck wrapped her ears over her face and mumbled through her fur "i don't trust you!" but over the years Peck began to like the other bunnies even love them. After a year of being with them they began telling her she was the destined hero bunny that great Mira had promised. Taking this as a compliment Peck went along with it, and soon saw something that terrified her, they were making paintings of her all over the place! "don't panic," Shadow said coming up behind her, "the other bunnies honor you for your art. you make us all believe in ourselves." Peck grew more and more and soon learned to fight phantoms. she then became the great alpha that lives secretly in the art studio in Coral Canyons.

  37. Peck was reaching for a paint brush. "Put it down, we have phantoms to fight." Greely got in her way and pushed her paw down. "But..."
Peck mumbled. Greely began talking and while she thought of her 'bunnyhood'.

    ---Flashback---
She was hopping around a lush green forest to find her burrow. There was a phantom noise coming and suddenly the forest turned dim and black and red. The bunnies came out of their burrows and hopped towards Peck. "We need liza, LIZA! She needs to help us!'" the bunnies cried. "I will get her." Whispered peck and hopped towards Jamaa, her second homeland. 'Liza, we need phantoms to defeat, these are harder ones' Said Peck. "A new idea for the next adventure for members." Said Liza. "They can defeat them." A few weeks later they were released and so the Jammers could level up. Peck hopped away to her secret shrine: The bunny party, from her home in coral canyons. She made it more into a party bunnies can come to, since she was sad that she didn't do anything to help the bunnies, that she was quite young, like Cosmo. She crafted things and then became Peck, The Bunny Artist alpha. Her nickname lives same as her up until this very day. The end

  39. Maybe the drums were used as an item used to keep the bunnies safe back then, and Peck was the lead drummer. So when the phantoms came, the loud drumming of the bunnies playing, scared away the phantoms. But since the Alphas had left for awhile, the bunnies would remember the great Alpha by marking the drums with Peck on them, giving them good luck whenever the bunnies needed it when the phantoms would come. So when Peck returned, the bunnies were very happy with the return of the mighty drummer that protected the bunnies, and even Jamaa! But before she had left, she didn't know the other Alphas, so she would paint and drum in her spare time. But once she met the other Alphas, the Alphas had complained about the loud drumming at night, which Peck believed gave good luck to the fellow bunnies when she was away. She had to put her drums away when they left, for the sake of Jamaa. After a few months the Alphas had left Jamaa, phantoms struck the world of Jamaa, frightening the young jammers. Peck hadn't been playing her drums for months, which gave no luck to the bunnies, so that is why the phantoms had struck. The drums had been a protection to Jamaa, and the bunnies were responsible for making sure that no phantoms come near. As the phantoms came, the bunnies played their drums as hard and loud as they can, they had no luck, the drums weren't powerful enough to stop the phantoms, and especially, the King Phantom... Finally, the Alphas came, Peck jumped in, her drum with her, her eyes stricken with hope and courage. She set her drum, to the ground, purple light glowed under the drum, and Peck played her best, the bunnies around her, playing as she was, the phantoms heard the noise, their eyes wide with sudden shock that the Alpha had returned. The phantoms flew away, and the bunnies played more and more, until the last phantom had left Jamaa. The Alphas were shocked at the sudden amazement the drum had did. Purple rays flew in the sky, crossing the clouds and created a light that circled Jamaa. Jamaa was saved, because of Peck, and the bunnies praised her ever since.

    My story:
Peck giggled, splashing vivid colors of paint here and there. A bunny, about as dusty and brown as the ground and the color of dawn, shook her head. "We're missing something, and those colors look SO out of place!" she complained. Peck rolled her eyes, quickly taking off the vivid paint. "We need... brown, gray, and black!" Peck nodded gingerly. She took out these colors, and painted them everywhere. "We should at least have SOME vivid colors," Peck suggested. "Right, I suppose it's fine to add some blue and a kinda... pale reddish-purple color. There, how about that?" The bunny snorted. Peck nodded. Then she thought, "Oh, we're missing something." A thought came into her mind in a flash. "Drums!" she gasped. "Drums?" The bunny stared at Peck. "Of course! Drums are great! We can bounce on them... make a nice beat..." Peck started blabbering. "Peck, you're Art, not Music." The bunny stated. "I can be music too, you know." So with that, there were drums added to the place. Paint lines and dots colored the edges of the drum. A brown bunny was painted in the middle of the drum. And, many generations later, this place was called "The Bunny Party". All the bunnies went to this party, amazed at it's style and leaping happily on the giant drums and smaller drums. A Peck hologram, bright pinkish-purple bounced deep inside the holes at the party in front of the giant drum, dancing to the happy beat of all the drums. When the bunnies saw Peck's hologram, they called to others to continue jumping on the giant drum, wishing to see Peck right in front of them. But, who knows, she might never come, but decide to dance in secret, whispering to the brown bunny constantly.

  45. Alright, here's my story for the drums hope its not too late.

The drums hummed as Peck stretched the thick material over the wooden bases, the drums were her newest masterpiece. She gathered all the rabbits from all over Jamaa to help her heave and ho the drums underground to a cave newly built. She smiled and looked at all the tired rabbits. "Come, my friends!" She squealed with joy. "Let's have a party in honor of these beautiful drums and your help and friendship!" All the bunnies were excited of course. They partied all day long, when Peck decided to jump on the drums. Their friendship was so large that the drums began to glow! As the night went on and the bunnies went home, peck made this cave be a party place for all the bunny friends to enjoy their friendship.

  46. A long time ago in ancient jamaa, their was not many shelter and alot off carrots for the rabbits. The only shelter that the rabbits had is a underground borrow where peck looks after the rabbits. The rabbits have to hide their carrots and other vegetables so the pesky phantoms wont eat them. Life was sad for the rabbits in ancient jamaa and alot of the rabbits died of starvation. The underground borrow has no bright colors and it looked really dull. Bright colors encouraged the rabbits to never give up on planting carrots and other vegetables. A little while later, the number of rabbits dying from starvation has increased! Peck was really sad that her little rabbits are dying. Peck had a plan to decorate the whole underground borrow with light colors to encourage the rabbits to plant more carrots and vegatables. Peck's favourite colors are pink and purple so she decorated the underground borrow with those colors the most. She also used other colors. Peck was finished decorating the underground borrow with lots of bright colors and it encouraged the rabbits of jamaa to plant lots of carrots and other vegetables. The rabbits were so grateful that they made a group of giant drums and drew a picture of peck on each drum to show how thankful they are that the rest of the rabbits alive wont die from starvation and they will always be encouraged to plant carrots and other vegetables...

Long ago, when Jamaa was still Phantom-free (and Jamaa Government (AJHQ) knew better than to ruin everything), the bunnies were HORRIBLE at both hopping and drum-playing. PLUS they were having trouble communicating with other animals!
"What a mess," thought the Alphas, and especially Peck. "I have to find a way to solve these problems..."

After months of thinking (and distracting herself by painting), Peck realized what she should do. IF she got drums, the rabbits could hop on them to improve their music-making and jumping skills! So the purple rabbit got to work. The smaller drums were built in a matter of weeks, but the giant drum.. it took years, and the hardest part was adding a touch of Peck's magic to make it glow.

Then, after a large-scale battle with the first Phantom generation, Peck had forgotten all about her drums and the cave she made to store them.
Until she saw a huge hole with bunnies crowded all around it, 5 at least.
"What does it lead to?" wondered one, a Moon Bunny, aloud.
"Should we go in?" said a Jackalope cautiously.
They kept on murmuring amongst each other and dove into the hole. Suddenly Peck heard a...
BOING DUM TH'DUM DOIBOIDUM BOINGBOING DUMDUM
"YES! MY PLAN WORKED!" she squealed with joy, leaping in.
But the drums needed a few finishing touches.
Peck painted on writing and symbols, to allow the rabbits to practice their communication with the rest of Jamaa.

And now, every bunny can live in harmony with the rest of Jamaa, thanks to their wonderful, artistic Alpha.

  48. Well, when Jamaa was first created, there were no animals yet. Mira summoned the first animals, bunnies. She also created a magic drum. She commanded the bunnies to get on it and hop. The drum made a beautiful noise, which drew all animals to Jamaa. Bunnies today worship drums as a sign of harmony.

  49. I personally think the drums were used by the rabbits as a way to warn each other about phantoms approaching. Maybe also, they used the drums in a special carnival or bunny parade. Peck may have introduced the idea, being the creative bunny she is. I think maybe the drums have stayed as part of the bunnies' tradition, to remind them about how far they've come, not having to use them for phantoms any longer.

Hope you enjoyed my little comment! From Ruby43 on Animal Jam :)

    As for the mystery:

Boom Da-Boom Boom Da-Boom, the drum banged as a young rabbit jumped on it. The bunny's danced around the drum as a young female bunny, a pink bunny named Peck was getting her special bunny mark. Her grandmother painted on the pink around her eye and added three white dots. Boom! The drum pounded one last time and then fell silent.
"This bunny, Peck is going out to seek her destiny, leaving the tribe behind. Where she will go, none will no but we do know she is brave and creative and will benefit whoever she meets. Good fortunes to you, Peck and may carrots line your path.'' the old bunny spoke. Peck nodded, and she thought 'I prefer paintbrushes line my path' though she didn't say so. The grandmother touched Peck's forehead with her nose and Peck nodded respectfully. She danced on her ears in circles, as a goodbye to her tribe and then she skipped away, her heart pounding.

    --One day later--

Peck awoke up to a blue light covering her completely. A beautiful blue heron appeared in front of her.
"Peck, follow me to Jamaa. You are needed, for your creativity and kindness to help build Jamaa and guide the rabbits of Jamaa." the heron spoke. Peck nodded, and then darkness covered her as she heard drums. She opened her eyes, she was jumping on a drum as a little bunny. Suddenly, Peck woke up. As she sat up a heron, not blue but grey, though instinctively Peck knew it was Mira. She followed the flying bird for many miles until it disappeared. A panda stepped out.
"I am Liza, and you are the new Alpha? Mira told me to come here."

    Part Two:

A flurry of gears suddenly popped out of thin air as Peck painted in her brand new art studio. Out stepped Graham, as the gears disappeared.
    "Oh, hi Graham!" Peck said.
''Hello Peck, I see your enjoying your new art studio.'' the old monkey said with a smile.
"I love it! Thanks again, Graham." Peck exclaimed. Graham spoke again.
''I'm to build something for you again, Peck. There is many, many, bunnies among the jammers. So much, that they need their very own party. Liza has decided you and I shall work on a Bunnies Only Party together." Peck felt stunned. A party for bunnies? That was amazing! Excitement coursed through Peck like a lightning bolt. She can make a large scale creation for all the bunnies of Jamaa!
"Wow! Can we begin right away?" Peck blurted out. Graham nodded and smiled yet again.
"Of course!" Peck raced out of the Art Studio and looked all over Jamaa for a place to build a party. By the time Graham caught up, Peck was already digging.
''It shall be underground!" she proclaimed. Graham nodded.
"Please step aside." and he set to work. Within a hour, Graham made a digging machine and it began digging swiftly with Peck helping. After three hours, a cool looking burrow was made. Peck, remembering her tribal roots placed drums painted with pictures of running bunnies. And every time it was jumped on, it would make the same boom noise that started Peck on her journey which lead her to Jamaa. A special drum, a large one was painted with a star, to remind Bunnies to shine bright in kindness and be creative. Graham engineered it so a peck silhouette would appear when jumped on, and also Peck statues with glowing eyes that Peck herself sculpted. A slide, a claw machine, and special bunny pets that Liza had found and brought to Peck for her party finished it off. Peck made her own music for it and Graham put it so it played constantly. Finally, he added a invisible telaporter for bunnies when the party started. Peck, sat in a shadowed corner and watched the bunnies flood in when the party started. She sat, deep in though hearing the drums being played. ''I shall always guide the bunnies of Jamaa, for they are so much like me." she though as she heard the familiar tribal drum noise.
