I agree! I am not very knowledgeable in the subject of rares. You know, once I had a beta brick wall somehow, and I traded it for something really bad, before being told it was worth a spike. XD One example of my naivety in rares.

Ah yes I know the feeling. The ONE TIME I got scammed, it was with an item that just came out that day. I thought I was bein' smart, checking the jamaa clothin shop but it turns out it was in some other shop like the mt shiveer one or something. Anyways I traded my pink worn for it and got swindled. But hey that's not the end-of-story, I send back the item they traded in a jamagram saying keep your stinking "rare" or something like that. I learned my lesson then you can never be too careful with rares XD

DeleteYes, wearing items just improves your whole chance of being able to escape a phantom chasing you. Trust me.. I've had this situation..
DeleteHere's a little story on it:
All was peaceful. Nothing stirred... only the slight movements of grass in the wind.. when all of a sudden a dull grey and black colored Arctic Wolf leaped deftly over a patch of tall grass, landing with a small "thump" before proceeding to scramble to his feet. He crashed through low hanging branches and vines, frantically pushing his way through the undergrowth.
He was being followed.
A few yards a way, a small, black floating creature advanced. Around it glowed a forcefield of blue and green light, humming and glowing and buzzing.
The wolf glanced at his pursuer, and then at the purple sticky vines ahead. He tried to bash through them, but he only got stuck. He writhed helplessly in the gooey mess, the white feathers of his headdress becoming black as tar the more he struggled.
The black creature following him cackled as it came nearer and nearer.. And then...
It emitted a blue ball of electricity, holding it in the air in its tentacles with the poise of a ballerina, it thrusted the ball at the wolf, thrashing, clawing, at the web it was stuck in.
The ball of electricity grew larger and larger as it wrapped around the helpless wolf, encasing it completely in an excruciating white light.
His face contorted in a scream of agony which was muffled into a slight rasp. The blue light sapped at his strength quickly. His kicks and claws became less quick and frantic, until they completely stopped, and everything went dark..
AND THAT'S WHY YOU SHOULD WEAR GLOVES AND SWORDS AND STUFF KIDS

I know right. I've been playing aj for a long time, I think I joined right after beta ended. Anywho it would really help me because I haven't traded in forever and I really don't want to get scammed because I have a lot of valuable items that I don't know their actual value to. So yes I really think you should make that rare compilation snowy, I'm sure other people will help with it, too!

Hey snow I (think) I saw a alpha I understand I saw Harper at least I think just going into the Juice hut I will say again I do NOT know for sure if it was really Harper or even a shaman but I at least think I saw her so I would be aware of that I will be keeping a eye out for another shaman to make sure it was not just me or whatever cause if it was her chances are we will see more :)

I would think they'd be more of a 2-3 since they're sold each year at Halloween. I dunno.

If you offered orange scary gazelles for someone's purple ones, they would probably humiliate you and you'd be the laughingstock of jamaa. *shivers*

DeleteI like the rare compilation idea.. but I think there should be a larger scale for the rarities - such as 1 to 10 rather than 1 to 5.. because there are a looot of different items with a looot of different worths to them.

Hello fellow Jammers! :{D -idk why I typed that actually XD- so here's another probably long comment...:
ReplyDelete1. Those Shutter Shades look like those shades peeps get when at a big party. :D such fun. style. cool.
2. When I first saw that the names on the buddy list got small, only some were small and some were still big/normal-sized, for me. It annoyed me. :/
3. That 1-5 rare ranking thing seems convenient. ^.^
4. On Adventures, I try to wear my Spirit Glove and/or my pirate sword. I wear those because it takes less taps on mouse pad to destroy those phantom pods or phantom webs (whatever it's called). c: Without those items, I have an even more higher chance of 'dying' on Adventures. It's always a high chance because when I'm on AJ and also on an Adventure, it's usually 99.9% laggy for me. I'm not joking, I am very, VERY laggy on Adventures- so annoying. -.- so yeah.. How was your day? XD

DeleteI'm also laggy on here. My day was fantabulous! 8D You don't understand. Most of the time on Adventures, actions are delayed- then I 'die'. Other times, forever endless loading and I cant move even in the middle of Adventure. I know it annoys the people I'm doing an Adventure with- I cant help my "AJ wifi connection" from acting stupidly. D': AND on regular AJ, it takes me forever to reply "No thanks." or whatever to another via JAG. Such lag. DX One time after I exited an Adventure to the end with my buddy, everyone but me and her were doubles. Cloning. O.O

ReplyDeletesnowy, scary antlers are sold every halloween. they're rarity should be 2 instead of 4, if it is 1-5. actually, the adverage jammer has scary antlers. i hope you don't take this as hate, but i am just saying :3
ReplyDeleteQuite right! It's just a generalization (not something to base a trade off of), and I was thinking "1" would indicate some of the rarest items, and "5" some of the most common rare items. :)
