I like that gazelles are back, it decreases scamming, and more jammers can get them. Animal Jam isn't all about rares. They are just pixels!! People need to calm down. Did anyone notice AJHQ is making new rare?

I like.... Don't even care anymore. Rares are in store? Feh. They're not rares anymore. Doesn't mean you should quit.... Think about it; when you joined you were desperate to have friends and play games, and to have a membership. Then, a year later, you're only buddies with people with rare spikes and stuff! You started playing AJ for fun, but now look..... You're in a tangle of scamming and trading and rares and stuff. And there's still all those poor New Jammers that don't know ANYTHING because people are always like.... Oh, look, that's probably just a storage. ........... You're kidding, right? I remember when all I would do is play the claw machine, or do stuff with my best friend..... Now today, I have a flippen Fish Fountain on trade! Way more than that..... But ever since things like spikes started getting really old, all anyone cared about was getting one! I joined because my friend showed me, and make it look like a lot of fun! Today, I haven't seen her on for like... A year. All because rares and stuff took over. Even worse, she moved. :c Anyway..... Which side do you choose? The side you came for, or the one that bribed? DeleteI agree in all that people may want these, and aj isn't about rares, but just THINK for a moment. Some people traded a lot of good things for these, so their work was for nothing! I love that they're back, I'm not from the beta days, but think about the people who worked so hard to get theirs! Yes lots of people like that they're back. And we can think about others. But what about the others that worked so long to get gazelles? Just my opinion...

Well, I never rely cared for gazelle horns. :T And I don't really think its fair for ppl to work so hard for them and then; they're back. If AJHQ keeps doing this, we won't have anymore rates anymore. It happened to worns, fox hats, and now gazelle horns. I gave away my rare worn, because my friend needed one she loves worns but she got her red one scammed, but I don't care what she trades me, she gave me plushies I thought it was a good trade to me but some of you think it is a unfair trade well, to bad I recycled my rares well it just dislike rare items, beta items from an are good to jammers who need one; this is the reason I dislike them: turning people greedy when I was new I thought rares were important but then I was scammed then I relized rares did NOT matter. I really wish ppl would trade for the LOOKS of items. Not for the rareness. Yes, I have 2 Mira statues and a neon blue bow, but I wasn't in the beta days. I also I didn't really care for gazzels because every time I traded for them, ppl declinded . also the betas are coming back and that's good because finally ppl who just came to animal jam, get to experience the good of betas. I know some of u were really beta and maybe even if some REALLY rich person ( $999999999999999999) donates a lot of money to animal jam. That could maybe get ajhq to somehow bing back beta places! BETA BETA BETA¡!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!

Is it bad to be mad at AJ for this? I just am really sad because when I logged on, some stupid nm person tricked me into trading my party hat for a pink gazelle. -sighs- I don't really care, actually, because I never really liked AJ for its rares, their just nice items to have. Me and my buddy are really mad, he traded his rare spike for a nr gazelle 2 days ago, and now it's all gone. And I really hope that headresses don't come back to stores because I traded practically 2 archways and rates for my nr headdress.

My friend Rain Rain (Rainbowcat1) were trading yesterday, and I accepted her offer for my gazelles. I feel guilty and sad, like I want to trade back. Hopefully she'll come on so we can trade back if she wants :3
I don't either, but it's what AJHQ decides. It's their game, their choices o.o. They have a billion options what to do with it. I didn't want gazelles to come out either, no matter how much it would make others happy. A lot of reasons why, but don't ask. xD

Yeah, I'm over it, life continues in jamaa. Rares aren't what is supposed to make Jamaa, but their nice to have, most of them have great colors which you cant buy normally, but yeah, if AJ releases them, then AJ releases them, nothing more to it. Its AJs decision, not ours, and we can complain all we want, but we can't control what they do.

I'm glad that you get them in Adventures because most people are very picky on rares, such as trading for their rare spike collar for a lava glove (the glove is rarer cuz it came out as a gift first, during the beta times, followed by the spike a month later) and they will still decline the trade. I find it unfair so I don't get rares by trading and I let people trade me. If I got an extra of those rares, I can give them for free! For non-members and for members!

Yeah. Beta features and beta items are 2 different things. I want both of those back because it keeps AJ less human just like the beta days. We use beta items to trade but beta features (Old Crystal Sands, beta dens...) are not used to trade. I think some peeps should stop sitting on bridges around Jamaa feeling cool with rares and do something else.

I think that AJ should have at least warned us not to trade for them, but my dad said that they didn't do this to spite us they are just trying to bring back the old days, where nobody cared about rares, but instead cared about having fun and making friends. Also their just trying to make aj better, and show the equality between jammers.

To be honest, I was shocked to know Gazelle Horns are back, and I love it. I have never gotten ANY Gazelle Horns (except rare and scary horns)

ReplyDeleteNow maybe i can go to jamaa township without a ton of traders. In my opinion i really really hate trading and rares and i think the trading update back in 2011 was a horrible idea since now no one remembers the true meaning of animal jam which was to make friends and NOT just because of how rare they were! And back in the day most of the animal jam youtube channels HAD GOOD AJ SERIES! and people weren't famous JUST BECAUSE THEY HAD RARES! I play AJ to RP and make AJ series on youtube, Not to trade and i'm really glad that AJHQ is bring back rares. Anyways you may now hate on me for making this comment but this is just my honest opinion.
well its not true that all rares are coming back only gazelles came back. theyve been making rares come back into stores since day 1, thats what makes trading fun cus stuff goes up and down in value. its like the stock market for kids. kind of. not really.

Then again, people spend hours and hours working to get something rare. Now they return? Not everyone should be overjoyed, and saying "WHO CARES THEY'RE BACK AJ WAS MADE FOR FUN! ALL YOU GUYS CARE ABOUT RARES" Or something like that. I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. If I become a youtuber, I would do AJ fan art for buddies, make possible outfits for people to try, something like that.

I think that bringing back beta rares is a HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE idea. People have worked very hard for them, and as people said in the comments above, it is all for nothing. Still, they are just pixels, but it's a shame of all that hard work down the drain. If AJ is smart and wants to bring back those items, why not have the old ones say "Rare" on them and then release them in different colors in the diamond shop?

DeleteI don't think it's such a big deal. Rare items have always been in stores. The reason players are outraging is because the items during the beta phase were never seen before. Snowyclaw became rare by buying items on clearance a lot. There are many ways to collect rare items. These are simply past their time and not a lot of Jammers are noticing the new rares.

and after AJ I also volunteer on Earth Day every year to do a beach clean up or plant trees, etc, :)
I feel bad for the Jammers that did work very hard for gazelles in trading or adventures, however am also very excited that they are back! I have never had a pair myself, and have always wanted one, so YAY! They are such awesome headwear in outfits. :D

This story isn't a real event. It's a little similar to Kiki's high school story but not really. It's starring me and some of my real friends!

I'm an animal that lives in Jamaa. I was born as a wolf but when I grew up, I got the gift of turning into any animal in the world. I live only with my dad, King (used to be my RP father in real AJ) and my mother left us without saying a word (the RP mother who unbuddied me for no reason). Possibly she died. Or she's missing? Anywho back on the intro, I go to Animal Jam Academy. It's a high school where "nice" Jammers learn and have fun. I hang out alone most of the time but I have quite a few friends and I love them and I call them BFFs. I would like to tell you about my special and however weird life in Jamaa as a teenager.
Gonna make the first part of the story right now. I'll make one part each day. If I stopped the story then I ran out of ideas or I'm busy. XD
