DeleteAnimal jam first started beta in June of 2010. Beta ended in october of 2011. However, we celebrate its bday in September.
Last September was aj's official 3rd birthday. (The they don't count the two years of beta)

THE JOURNEY TO SURVIVE
Chapter 1 - The beginning
FRIDAY 27th JUNE 2014
I was in Jamaa Township with Enchanted and my twin sister, Twinkle. We were shopping (as usual) for clothes and jewellery and stuff. All we could talk about was fashion. We loved fashion. We've got this fashion club at our school and all the foxes come to us if they have a 'fashion emergency' as we like to call it. So we help them out and it makes us the number one fox group to come to for fashion help. And that's on everyone's list.
Me and the girls were talking for ages. We each picked up a few clothes we could make into cute little clothes to help all those charities for little kids. Then I saw it. The most prettiest designer skirt ever. It was a beautiful pink, exactly my colour, and it was a summery skirt, so PERFECTLY fitting in.
"Oh my gosh, Snowflake!" cried Twinkle when she saw the skirt. "I so want that skirt! Too bad it's a little light for me. But it matches you PERFECTLY! You have to buy it!"
"OMG, totally! I agree with Twinkle!" gasped Enchanted.
"Perfect! I know, right! But I know what will make it even better.." I exclaimed, "THE WHOLE OUTFIT!"
We all went round Epic Wonders. The most expensive clothes in Jamaa are packed in this store. We picked out an outfit each, all matching our fur colours.
When we left it was chaos outside. All jammers were running around screaming 'THE PHANTOMS ARE COMING!' We didn't believe them. Just rumours. Never true.
We walked home, chatting about the latest clothing items and stuff. We all hung out at my house, giggling and stuff. We were just chatting about the rumour when there was a loud crash downstairs. Me, Twinkle and Enchanted rushed downstairs. My mom and dad were out eating at a restaurant. Mom had always said that when we were 13 (now) then we'd be able to stay on our own.
We split up. I went into the living room, Enchanted went into the kitchen and Twinkle tackled upstairs. We were all searching for the noise.
I tiptoed into the living room. I saw a black tentacle hide behind the sofa. I grabbed a cushion. It was so dark. I couldn't see a thing. Then suddenly everything lit up in a purple light. I stared. And then screamed at what I saw.
CHAPTER 2 WILL BE RELEASED ON WEDNESDAY 2ND JULY IF I CAN!!

I use to have a snow-leopard icon, but Animal Jam reset it back to the paw-print.
This continues on and off to the point where I can't even change the icon to something else.
Not that I have anything against the paw, and I hope this isn't considered spam since it's off-topic to the post.

DeleteA lot of people have been saying in the comments that aj forgot to celebrate their 5th bday, or that it's in November. Aj does not count the beta years as official years. ( my friend played in beta, and I started April of 2012)
ReplyDeleteAnimal jam first started beta in June of 2010. Beta ended in october of 2011. However, we celebrate its bday in September.
Last September was aj's official 3rd birthday. (The they don't count the two years of beta)
This upcoming September will be animal jams 4th bday.

Well AJ celebrated it's 3rd birthday in 2013, so that = three years. The 4th birthday in November will be it's 3 year birthday, so it really counts the end of the beta days. :3
