Hey jammers! This is snowy, and I'm back from being my silly sick version of myself. I like this version much better... Just silly. ^-^ ANYwho, update time! First things first, our new item of the day...
A Liza Portrait, sold in Jam Mart Clothing. Just in case you don't see her face around Jamaa enough. I swear, I see her floating head everywhere... I'm not crazy!!! Maybe just a little bit. But now, let's turn over to the main feature of this lovely update, the OTTERS!
Though they are in the Diamond Shop, they are quite cute! The classic exaggerated features that we so love on Animal Jam.
They have quite the collection of moves too! I did a little video about the update which I will embed below (when I get around to editing it, I do have my summer job thingy, my goodness, so busy!).

And look at the lovely little exhibit this fella gets!
Over in the Chamber of Knowledge is the lovely Sea Otter Minibook. And guess what? If you click all the little badges...
Gem prize! Woot woot. :) Over in the Conservation Museum we have the custom new animal exhibit, with the adorable cartoon and some beautiful pictures. Be sure to go check them out when you can!
With the update has also come the hard mode to the underwater adventure "Turning the Tide" in which you help Tavie, the dolphin alpha.
And with the new exploration of the adventure comes a new prize set of Rare Lionfish Armor. Be sure to send a picture to spiritjammer@gmail.com if you win some! But even cooler...
The first little spotlight on our first official underwater alpha! Isn't she adorable? She may be named after Octavia (Octavia Minor or Octavia the Younger), sister of the first Roman Emperor. Octavia was known for her nobility, loyalty, and humanity (dolphinity?). Ooorrrr... She was named after Octavia da pony. Cello player. PONIES. I like that theory...
We have the last day for Lionfish Armor in Bahari Bargains, and the brand new Volcanoes 101 video over in the Sarepia Theatre. Neat having new videos every day, huh? And over in the Sol Arcade...
Everyjammer loves a good game sale. Be sure to get some arcade games while they're hot, being end of summer vacation and all. Sad thing that. Makes very sad me. Me very sad. Last thingy of the day...
A new "Trade Requested" table! I think it provides a nice little layout. Next I think there should be an actual trading room, with trading tables, and you can negotiate for items like real trading. It'd be fun! Yes?

ReplyDeleteYep.... Although if they did become gem animals, AJHQ should refund the 10 diamonds, and the player may, or may not lose 1000 gems.

ReplyDeleteAJHQ has made the otter for members because members pay real money & it's AJHQ's way saying thank you. With your membership funds AJHQ can help animals in need! One of the main reasons why AJHQ made the otters for Diamonds is because you also pay real money for Diamonds, and if there's not enough Diamond items nobody will buy Diamonds! If there's not enough member only stuff, nobody will become a member so Animal Jam would close because they are a company and they need money.
