This week's Spotlight Sunday is all about sea otters! Did you know that sea otters are born in water? Mother sea otters teach their babies, called pups, how to swim and hunt. Sea otters can close their ears & nostrils when they swim! Sea otters are carnivores, which means they only eat meat.
Sea otters are the second smallest marine mammal & they're the largest member of the weasel family! Did you also know that sea otters eat, sleep, play and hunt in water, and they are often seen floating on their backs!
