Hey Jams, Feelers here posting for this first Jamaaliday Update because of another unsaid hiatus.
But that's okay, y'know why? Because I can finally now talk about Christmas without being told that it's not Christmastime since the Jamaalidays have officially begun!
Hit the jump to find all the juicy details that you probably already know about.
Speaking of the diamond shop, we have the first official arrival of the unreleased item, the Long Bow! You (Members) can purchase a Long Bow in the Diamond Shop for 2 diamonds!
Unlike the first Long Bow, you can now choose between colors. So be sure to pick up as many black Long Bows as you can since Jammers will be hollering at each other about it. Do you think they'll start adding more unreleased items (stone sword, stone wall, etc.) to the diamond shop?
The Diamond Shop has also released the panda claw for all Jammers for 3 diamonds!
Like that jingle in Jamaa when you enter the Township? You can buy that cute song in the diamond shop for Members only.
You can also have you very own Christmas Jamaaliday Tree by purchasing one in Jam Mart Furniture for a somewhat mere 600 gems.
Don't forget; you have 10 days to pick up a Turkey Hat in Jam Mart Clothing before they leave for the year!
Remember how AJHQ forgot to add the birthstone? They added it for yer birthstone wheel!
And finally, there is a new buddy game called Pairs. It's a simple matching game between you and another Jammer. Whomever picks the most correct matches wins!
'Tis a bit glitchy when I played it for the first time in forever, but it's an alright game.

I have a feeling that the neon bow will come out in the not-so-distant future... SIDE NOTE: If you don't feel like reading leave this comment now (or anytime you like :D)-or just skip over that globbed together part :P- it's long.
ReplyDeleteAnyways it's kinda cool that they put the long bow in stores. I say kinda because it's pretty unfair. No it's not unfair to the non members. I mean it is, but that's not what I'm talking about for this unfair. It's kinda like if I were to say to two people: "Okay Person 1, if you climb that mountain i'll give you a 10,000,000 bucks" So then person 1 climbs the mountain and I give them 10,000,000 bucks but then I turn to person 2 (who did nothing) and I gave them 10,000,000 bucks. PURPLE ALERT! NOT FAIRNESS DETECTED!!! It's almost the same thing. A Jammer works hard for a long bow (weather it be: looking for someone who has long bow and trading a bunch of good items for it OR playing 'The Forgotten Desert' a bunch of times till they get it) and then AJHQ just puts it for sale. *sigh*
Okay I'm happy the Jamaaliday Jingle came out I was hoping it would!

ReplyDeleteI mean, AJHQ shouldn't do this anymore it's ticking me off. In fact, it's the formula to LOSE players instead of gaining them. (It's crazy but kinda true .-.)
Y'know, I have a theory in fact.
I belive that people got jealous of people's rares and betas that THEY wanted the beta days back. AJHQ fails at this losing players by making the Diamond Shop. Also, do you remember when the Diamond Shop was introduced, AJHQ stated,"...and you can buy your gifts, too!" THAT'S NOT. HOW. GIFTS. WORK! =-=People THEN want to shut it down at the start, people quit, people join, you get the drill.
My best friend joined a few months after the DS opened up and I told him about the glory of MMG and he was sad he missed out on some of the BEST things to come in the beginning of the month. Sometimes we need a little rare and a beta and AJHQ spoils it all and releases the item into the DS.
I forgot to mention this at the top when I was talking about the DS's beginning, but anyway....
I love how AJHQ is all like "We wanna stop people from scamming because we care~!" but then a week later scams everyone by releasing Diamond animals into the shop. Let me say one thing, I never used a special animal card because my mom wouldn't buy one in the first place. But I feel the stab of betrayment when AJHQ released the Long Bow just as much as the rarer jammers felt when AJHQ scammed them out of their money for memberships and animals and whatnot.
So, to conclude this long rant...
I hope we all realize AJ is NOT the best, infact it has some frustrating flaws. All games do and I respect those flaws as much as I can. But when it gets to the point where I have to type this much about a game and how the update bringing it frustrates me, it's insane. Good day to everyone,

ReplyDeleteI think it's fine when rare stuff comes back. I like items by looks rather than rarities, so when gazelle horns came back I was happy. I like long bows but never bothered to get one so if I was still a member I'd probably like it.
You gotta look at it from the good perspective sometimes. Now I can get a cool item that can look good in my den/on my animal and others can enjoy it, too!
