Ciao, Jammers! Bon here, with a new Rarity Ratings for you! I've now decided these shall be posted every other Tuesday! Let's just hope I can keep up! XD
The headdress was the most requested item to rate by y'all in the comments. It is a members only item, but has a less rare non-member counterpart, the head feather. It comes in 8 colors, and all colors are equally rare. The blue headdress is favored because many people like blue, but the larger number of the cute little things balances out the popularity of 'em.

What to Trade?
After the release of The Forgotten Desert, Headdresses, you could say, spiked in rarity. You know, 'cause Spiked Collars and stuff were rereleased in that adventure? No? No one? Ok.
After many popular rares could be gotten in the Eagle Adventure, their rarity value went down. Non-rare headdresses, however, did not make an appearance in that faithful adventure. After that, the rarity of them was bumped by a few betas. You can expect these items, or a combination for any color headdress.

Most Betas (Globe, Bongo Drums, Beta Mat, Candy Basket, Rocking Horse, Open Sign, etc)
Most Unreleased Items
Be aware though, the rarity of this item is a very disputed thing. The items you trade depend on how willing you, and your trading partner are to have a headdress. The example items shown above are just staple comparisons.

ReplyDeleteAnyway I would consider rating the NM glove by chance for it's rarity... The NM glove had it's ups and downs in rarity and it would be quite interesting to see yours thoughts! I will be happy to hear your thoughts on the rarity!
I think they should rate rare spikes, oh and I believe you can get a non rare headdress in the forgotten desert, but VERY low chances of getting one. Like very very low chances, but not as low as the chance of you getting a mace tail from the forgotten desert. Oh and in aj I'm TigerClaw50114.

I'd like to see a rarity rating for rare spike collars. I'm very confused about which collars are supposedly "bad" and which are "good"... I've tried asking people but they never say, lol.

ReplyDeleteLemme just clear up some inaccuracies here. Basically you're not going to get a non rare headdress without a good long collar. That's the essential thing you need. And you will need to add to that. The pink headdress is currently the highest value one. How do I know? Because people keep offering me their blue headdress and a good long collar for my pink. But blue is equally a hard headdress to trade for.

That is not correct. There is no difference in color, it is just what color is most favored, and currently that is the blue headdress. Also just because people trade you something for it, that does not determine the worth of the item, that is the jammers offer.

First, different colors don't matter. It really does depend on how much the person will offer and how much you want. Usually a headdress is worth a long spike collar + more. Remember AJ isn't about the items! :)

It's an offer I get almost daily, black long and another headdress for pink. Often the blue headdress. It's basically the community voicing it's opinion.
