Hey Jammers! So today is the Canadian Anti-Bullying Day! Now everyday should be anti-bullying day, however. But not that any of you lovely Jammers would ever bully someone, it is just important we show respect. One of my buddies and I got together to celebrate!

Moving on, I have been trying to come up with a cool contest and recently I did. So I'm pretty sure you all read Animal Jam's Blog (the Daily Explorer) and if you do you are probably familiar with those comics AJHQ has been doing. So I was thinking I could do a contest for comic strips, you can just take some screen shots and put them into a comic strip format (you can make a collage using several photo editors, I tend yo use PicMonkey). I am not certain what the prize will be...
...however I am guessing it will be something like rare bow and arrows or perhaps a den beta but I still don't know yet. Anyways you can send your entries to either miss.zanyfoot@gmail.com or spiritjammer@gmail.com! I hope to receive some entries, and you don't need to spend hours on it or anything, just try your best and be creative! Below is a little snippet of an AJ comic I made quite awhile ago for my former blog!

ReplyDeleteYou have to understand that Snowy is in college (right?) and she can't juggle life and AJ anymore. Have you noticed how rarely she posts because of this? She has to go if she feels that it's important to her education.
ReplyDeleteI know it's terrible Snowy is leaving and no matter how much I want her to stay she can't. She has a life you know. Like I've been saying, if she can't have a paw in both worlds then she has to give up AJ to become a professional at her dream job. If you don't want her to leave, what will her future be if she can't come to work and has to publish a post onto her blog about a game for kids?

You have made a difference in so many Jammers lives. Sometimes if I was feeling gloom I would just watch a video of yours and sure enough a smile would appear on my face. The fact that I got to know you is truly a gift. And for you to give me chance to write on your exquisite blog means so very much to me. I will always hold a spot for you in my heart. ReplyDeleteUh, interesting post, and brilliant anti-bullying thing! A few years ago in Year 3 when I was 6, we celebrated anti-bullying day for an ENTIRE LEARNING EXPERIENCE! And the winning team actually produced underwear with anti-bullying day logos and slogans written on them!
It's all so brilliant even though I had no idea because I couldn't be further from Canada, thank you xx

ReplyDeleteUmm this is NOT meant to be offensive (at all), here goes. I think you should give the other authors in the blog a tiny bit more... credit. Like, on the top of the page and on the left side it only mentions you, not all of the other people who write in this blog. Yes, I know, school is keeping you on your toes and causing you to write less in the blog and that is OK, but I feel that the people who write the blog should at least be MENTIONED when you first enter the blog. Sorry if this seems to be a cruel hearted comment.
