Anyways,
We have some glitches sent in by Dauiu and Shadow Charizard. Shadow had left a game of Best Guess, and her chat bar mysteriously stayed the same. And Dauiu was buying some Lucky items, when it said she had no gems, and nothing was in stock! Ah! How annoying on both parts.

I'm sure you all know there is a short cut to entering stores and shops by clicking on the little icons on the map. Well, Ice Cat has brought it to my attention that the Pillow Room and Club Geoz are not on the map. You can not short cut your way into them. You would have to follow a friend, or find a non full Jamaa Township. Why do you think that is?

There are original Clover Earmuffs in stores, and today's RIM is just a re-color of an items that no one buys or wears. Sorry if you already knew this, but please give me an answer about the whole "new item" part!

ReplyDeleteYou know what I would like to see? Monday Mystery questions that you have to answer with a poem. I like to write different kinds of poems (haiku, free verse, rhyme) and it would be nice to story away from writing short stories for a while.

ReplyDeleteOmg! My friend, I think her user was Jamwolf911 (I have a horrible memory when it comes to remembering usernames), She had on trade, guess what.... A AJ HQ PLAQUE! I was like, "Wut da heck is dat...?" In my mind, It looked like a normal plaque but the middle had a thumbs up on it. Its title was, "AJ HQ PLAQUE". Oh and her animals name showed up really weird on my screen it said like, well I forget but it was all one word and not its a choice to make your name. Weird stuff happening in my world.. ( ﾟ,_ゝﾟ)

ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea! Poems do have a certain quality to them. You know, I don't think anyone would object if you were to write a poem (unless there's some rule against it that I don't know of O.O). Poems are great ways to tell a story with a fresh perspective.

ReplyDeleteLong ago, when jamaa was new, jamaa township had five buildings. Two shops, club geoz, and the pillow room and the medical center. Quite a while later, the medical center was removed, to be replaced by the Sol Arcade. Even later the short cuts were added, and thats when the debating started. the alphas first consulted the spirit of mira, asking if making the short cuts was a good idea. They thought that once they had mira's approval, it would be easy. But unfortuanatly, there came the problem of which buildings to make shortcuts to. They all agreed that all the shops would be available if you select a button at the side of the map all jammers carried with them. But as you know, there are a few building you can enter just by clicking on them on the map, including brady barrs lab and the sol arcade. Some of the alphas wanted to make all the buildings available like this, even the shops hat were accessible by the button on the side. Others thought that that would make it near immpossible to simply land in any land itself, and not just a shop or building. Eventually they all agreed on a few buildings and they made it possible.
Sorry it wasnt very long, i didnt have much time and for once i had no ideas, like how often does that happen!?

ReplyDeleteThe AJHQ plaque is very old. Back then, the only way to earn it was to mail an actual letter to AJHQ in Salt Lake City, Utah. After that, AJHQ changed the method to earning it, and then you could only get the plaque by having your den featured on the Epic Dens List or The Daily Explorer. Now, the only way to earn the AJHQ plaque is to win a Jammer Snaps assignment. The name is no glitch at all. The methods to earning the plaque, however, are all over the place.

Cosmo breathed in the scents of his home. The tall bamboo, the rich plants. The bustling streets, and busy shops. Jamaa was, to him, the perfect balance of civilization and the wild.
Cosmo smiled as he strolled down the street, humming a happy tune.
“Hello, Cosmo!” Peck shouted to Cosmo as he passed her.
“Hello, Peck!” Cosmo replied. He passed the bamboo hut and reached the center of Jamaa Township. He paused for a moment, relishing the hustle and bustle.
“Cosmo!” A shrill voice startled him out of his reverie and he turned, startled. There, making her way toward him, was a fox, whose name he could not quite recall.
“Cosmo!” she shrieked again. “I gave you a beautiful, prized lily, uh, herb.” Cosmo had to stop himself from snickering. Lily herb? “It was dying. I asked you to fix it. I said it had to be ready by this morning. Where is it?”
Cosmo abruptly stopped snickering. Flustered, he replied,”Tending to plants takes time. I’ll have it, uh, tomorrow.” He slipped away into the crowd, berating himself fiercely. How could he have forgotten? He was angry, too, at the fox. Why did she have to make such a scene?
Cosmo passed the Sol Arcade, but, before he could slip in to see how things were getting on in there, he found himself surrounded by jammers. They all seemed to be begging him.
“My bamboo. How could you have forgotten?”
“I gave you my rose. Can I have it back now?”
“My oak tree. Weren’t you taking care of it?”
“Enough!”
Everyone flinched, including Cosmo. Had that really been him?
Trying to keep his voice level, he said, “I just need some time. Please. Leave me alone.” Cosmo fought his way out of the crowd, feeling desperately lonely. He headed for his den, but, seeing it was filled with visitors bringing their plants for him to care for, he decided otherwise. He went to Sarepia Forest and miserably lay under the bushes, camouflaged. It seemed this was the most peace he would get.
“Cosmo, come in.”
Cosmo entered, gazing in awe at the grand room. The floor was beautiful, shimmering with glass, and the walls were covered with iridescent tiles. In the center of the room sat Mira, on a radiant silver throne.
“Hello, Cosmo. What brings you here today?”
“Mira,” Cosmo greeted Mira politely. “I was thinking. A few days ago, I was feeling... frustrated.”
“I heard,” said Mira, not unkindly.
“I needed somewhere to go, somewhere peaceful. But my den was filled with visitors, as usual, and everywhere else was crowded. I was thinking we could build, maybe, a pillow room… You know, calm, peaceful, pillows…”
Mira was nodding her head. “I think it could replace the Medical Center- it is rarely used anymore.”
“Oh, and one more thing. I know that our new technology has been used to add shortcuts to the maps, but… I was wondering if perhaps we could keep this room without a shortcut. It would attract too many visitors, and it wouldn’t be peaceful.”
“Of course, Cosmo.”
And so the Pillow Room was built, as a peaceful place to think, and it has remained free of shortcut ever since.

ReplyDeleteI think the RIM is pretty cool but not as pretty, outstanding, bright or creative as AJHQ could make it and I think they don't put much effort in anymore, sad face :(
ReplyDeleteAlso, I experienced the Lucky Party glitch - EVERYONE DID - but I find that, if you have free chat, you can say :dance: and you can dance, also if you put :) or :O or :D or :P then it does the actual yellow face icon. ALSO if you write the name of the icon for example :smiley: or :evil: then it comes up.
MY POINT IS, DURING BEST GUESS IT DOESN'T HAPPEN GRRR!

In the Forgotten Desert, as most of you know, there's the whole thing with purple shards, how you need to find four(ish) rocks and get one gem, etc. I collected where all five of the main rock formations are for two alternate possibilities.
