How to get Rare Pets on Animal Jam

A well needed list to how to get rare pets...

  • getting a rare pet is random, only the colors are controlled by the icons
  • if you want a certain color and get the icon sequence, then keep clicking "find my pet" because each time it will change gender, eyes, or become the opposite color
  • for each try to get a rare you must pay 400 gems
  • if you don't get a rare then you can "x" out, this way you don't have to free the unwanted pet
  • finding a rare may take a long time, keep earning gems and working at it
Remember, every pet is special!

    i have my own rare pet, he is a all white duck who is wearing a green hat, hi sname is hyperbird, his code is diamond, rain, rain and another rain

    someone told me that you have more chance of gettin a rare if u get ur pet at the things 'round jammma

    i have abt 3, or 4 rare pets. one is a butterfly with frankenstein antenas. "Megaflyer" another is a dog with a giant pumpkin head! "Orangeninja". Another butterfly with a samuri sword!
    "Earthflyer". I believe another rare, but i cannot remember even if i HAVE another rare pet! but i cudnt agree more. EVERY PET IS SPECIAL!!

    I don't know what makes a rare pet rare, let alone if I have one. What are some rares for foxes? I'm planning on getting one soon.
