Ocean Statue and Horse Hat

Hey jammers, sorry for the late post (again). Today's new item is the Seal Poseidon Statue, found in Sunken Treasures.
What annoys me is that the last statue was Venus. As you may know, Venus is the Roman goddess of love and beauty. However, the seal is Poseidon, the Grecian god of the ocean. Why is Animal Jam mixing it up? It's driving me crazy!

There's also a new item in the Horses Party, the Army Helmet!
The picture is courtesy of Spino11, thank you!

Well, the Romans sort of actually coped the Greek gods but gave them different names, and that means that the Greek goddess Aphrodite is the Roman goddess Venus.

  7. Spirithowl! I was wondering what that was—I was hosting a rare trading party today and somebody tried to trade me a black and brown thing that looked like a helmet, and I wondered what it was!!
I'll check sleepingquietflower's trade list though...

Oh. And also even though the Romans copied the Greek gods and goddess's the still had a lot of their own.

  12. That is totally miked up! I am really annoyed with that BECAUSE Animal Jam is pretty much sponsored by National Geographic Kids. National Geographic Kids is SUPPOSE to teach kids things like history, but now they are mixing it up! By the way Snowyclaw, can you buddy me? My Animal Jam name is Dance287 (it's not DanceLove).

  13. @Poshi6

These probably aren't the ocean shamans, srry to disappoint you though (good idea) They are Greek and Roman Godds! Like Snowy said Venus is roman god for love, and Poseidon is the Greek god of the ocean!

  15. Because, I think they did it cuz... all roman gods (mostly ALL) are based on greek gods but in roman. So Venus is aphrodite and...yeah.

Maybe, but remember Venus is the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty, while Poseidon is the Greek God of The Ocean! So it might not be a shaman, because the shamans aren't Gods or Goddesses.
