I also have some fun Animal Jam background to share. My friend supermonkeys sent it to me a while back, but I, for some reason, haven't posted it until now. There is a really interesting article about Animal Jam, Smart Bomb's CEO Clark Stacey, and the future of Jamaa. Click here to read the info about Alphas and more! There is also this really neat interview Stacey does, and there's some mentioning of how AJ is influenced by the players (perhaps, in part, our Jamaasian Movement?).
Some fun things he talks about are the fact that games are a "storytelling medium" that need characters (the Alphas!). Though this was a few months ago he speaks of Alphas having a larger influence in the game. Exciting right? Anyway, hope you enjoyed the inside scoop on AJHQ. Happy jamming!
