DeleteHey guys. I'm not sure if this is counted as spam. But its a story I want to share with you guys. Maybe a couple of you have read my Mystery Monday stories. But this isn't anything close to that. This story is about the AJ drama that induced me to quit.

I've been really struggling to stay positive on AJ, but its just impossible now.
The stress from my false friends and drama is really getting into my real life.
They say words don't hurt. But in truth they do.
Its even gone as far as into Transformice.
So I'm quitting.
And I'd like to tell you why.
As Sheaa said a few posts down, EMU94 was her buddy. And mine.
We were great back then. I didn't see what was wrong.
But she really started begging for a spike, any spike.
She begged my more rare friends at that time, and it made me feel useless.
So I started to try to get her a spike. I didn't realize what rare greed was, I'd only re-joined for a couple months, after I quit in beta for the school year.
I got rare through luck, getting a cream worn when they were still really rare and popular.
So Wolfeyefighter traded me a spike. I thought of EMU and accepted it reluctantly, after all the good trades I'd declined. (Many people even threatened to hack me because I declined)
And still thinking of EMU, I gave her the spike. For free.
I thought she'd be grateful. I thought her response was her being grateful.
But I was very wrong.
Lets skip to EMU's birthday. She wanted gifts. And good ones.
DeleteThat day I was busy. But Sheaa traded lots of her rares for a claw machine my buddy had. For a birthday present. Missflo and Cutiepanda01 or Missprettytiger01 got her a cami frog and legend glove (blue). They all sent them to her. For free again.
Later on, still unknowing I traded my green legend for two dragon gloves, neither of which I have now. They were purple and blue-white. I gave one to EMU, since I hadn't got her a birthday present.
But now I look back and see mistakes.
EMU started to read the Warriors series. She became inspired by Tigerstar and Scourge. Sure, I love warriors. I love the way Erin Hunter portrays cats, the way she makes up mythology to go along, the way she created the cat world. But saying you are inspired by Tigerstar's brutal killing and evil plots and Scourge's cold and ruthless path for blood is like saying you love serial killers. That you love the murderers of the modern day world.
I let it pass for a while. Maybe until EMU started her clan. Maybe before, when she told me this: rips out her throat nn just because I didn't answer a question when I was on brb.
When one of my best friends quit, and gave me her password, she demanded I give her some pottery from their collection. So I obliged and gave her a gumball machine, numerous teacups, and 2 pots, even though I wasn't sure if my quitted friend would approve. Afterwards, I sorted out my friend's den and reorganized it, before leaving it unused for weeks, or even months. (She still occasionally comes on)
I still let that pass.
But once she started clanning, things became an ugly mess. VivaCandyz scammed her cami frog, and I can only say this, but I still believe that the only reason people fall for scams is because of greed. She wanted another cami- and she wanted me to get it for her.
I refused to help. She was fine- sort of. But then I heard her say this: i want another cami so i can trade for a long spike using mine and my rares.
I was confused by this. She had bought me a purple fox hat, back when they were a Rare Monday and she was her old self. And I had declined offer after offer for it, including a bow and arrow and a freedom helmet that I desperately wanted. And she was that willing to give up her birthday presents and my spike for that? As Sheaa once said to her: grateful isn't a word in your(EMU's) vocabulary.
Things started going really crazy. I'd met a buddy who was a rabbit, and we went to Sarepia for some cute roleplaying. I fed her carrots, and she played with a feather. EMU followed me to Sarepia, and noticed me playing with my buddy. She asked me if my buddy was prey, told me I should eat her or she would, and said that if my buddy didn't do something clannish, she would be eaten, killed, or mauled.
I started really regretting giving her a spike. I asked for it back, since I had given her it for free. She refused, saying I should give her a long red spike if I wanted her purple spike back.
I realized what I hadn't seen after all that time. She was just another corrupt jammer, rare greedy, and a clan hog.
Together with Sheaa, my cousin, and an old quitted pal who came back to help, we managed to take it from her. I wanted to either recycle it or give it to a more deserving jammer who actually deserved it. Recycling it sounded best.
DeleteThe way we convinced her, I must say wasn't the best. We were honest in the fact that if she passed our judging, we would give her the long red spike she wanted. However, she did not pass our judging. My cousin, Sheaa and my old pal told me she didn't deserve it. Reluctantly, I recycled all the spikes.
I entered her den, to say I was quitting, but by then she had already unbuddied me. At first we were alone, but then Greenfire989, a clanner came in. He asked EMU if I was "The spike girl" and if he should kill me. EMU replied with "do whatever you want with this thing" He began to "roleplay" kill me, ripping out my throat, tearing out my limbs, and more. I endured it, but in real life, I was actually feeling an urge to cry.
Before I left, EMU told me she had given me "her spike" for free, and that I should pay her my long spikes. She said I was greedy for regretting trading my founder and wanting it back. The problem is, I first gave her "her spike" for free. It would make a lot of sense that when I needed it back, a good friend would, without thinking, trade it back to help. Friendship is a mutual thing, not a one sided thing. Additionally, the founder was traded and obtained from a prize I got for winning a contest. I wanted to keep it and remember that I had won the art contest, and it also symbolized the good times of AJ and my quitted buddies, who were all my best friends. Greenfire989 also called me a b**, scum, and a person who would never have friends. EMU told me that while she had a "fun life" I could stay down in the dumps and friendless, as much as she cared. The words really stung me in real life, and I believe I can't handle any more, as I am already bullied at school and get harsh verbal scoldings at home. Sometimes I dream of dying and getting reborn so I can stay away from the pain. Its exactly what I've done on AJ, remaking accounts 27 consecutive times just to stay away from the pain.
I believe I cannot handle anymore without hurting myself physically and mentally. So as I speak, I am cutting off any connection I have to what I've said above and Animal Jam.
Goodbye.
Things will get better, have faith in God and his word. Tell others about being bulllied, reason with you parents, report and block the atrocious Jammers. It's only a matter of time and thing will get better.

Ouch!! That's a sad story! That's one of the reason I've never claim an online friend as my BFF or that sort of thing because they may Βε an unkind buddy. We'll never know whether someone is kind or unkind if we only meet online. I've never given my friend in AJ something like spike. I don't want to Βε scammed. DeleteI never get rare items for anyone anymore. Once you say yes one time, they think that it is okay to use friends for things. And they won't always say thanks or be grateful.
DeleteOne time this girl I met said it was her birthday, and she really wanted a pink carousel hat, and she begged over and over. So after much thinking , I decided the hat probably means more to her than it does to me (even though it was HARD TO EARN THOSE THINGS and a fair trade would have been nice).
After thinking about it I decided to send it to her as a birthday present (and yes, I was well aware of the fact that she could have been lying about her birthday, I was willing to take that chance).
Guess what she does after I send it? She didn't say thank you, instead she immediately starts asking me for MORE stuff. What the heck??
Lesson learned: Don't do anyone any favors unless you are prepared to lose an item to someone who won't appreciate the work that has gone into it or say thanks.
She's probably quit or traded it for something stupid by now. -.-

Who on Earth would be willing to believe in Scourge or Tigerstar? Both cats died gruesome (but needed) deaths, and they were eventually defeated in death.

DeleteI'm so sorry to hear about this! D: However, I think there are ways to get around the bullying and still play AJ! For example, you can email AJHQ and ask them to change your username (which I have done before) and then delete all of your buddies except maybe a best friend so that you can start over and be happy! ^.^ It's really sad though that people are willing to take bullying on a pixelated game this far... :(

DeleteHey guys. I'm feelling worse than yesterday. My sinuses are clogded up and its hard to breath. Anyway I might be on AJ today. My dad is making me study for the Great American Award. Is anyone else doing it? Yesterday, someone wanted a dinner both that I had on trade. Guess what she traded?! A clover blanket. I used to have a clover before I got hacked. It isn't the same color, but it is a clover!!! And, did anyone read my ways not to get hacked yesterday? I didn't see any comments on it. :(
ReplyDeleteMy mom is still in L.A., and my dad isn't the doctor in the family. What I mean by that is my mom takes care of me when i am sick. And dad doesn't. I am still looking for someone to help me get these items back, freedom bands or a fox hat. You will be rewared a rare lantern or a blue member sofa if you can.
