It's nice to see that AJ is putting in things for nonmembers to buy besides gems in the Diamond Shop, but I have to wait 10 WEEKS to buy an eagle (if I don't get any diamonds in the daily spin) AND they didn't make the animal nonmember. Their first flying animal and the don't make it nonmember?

DeleteI don't mind the diamond shop, actually. I'm actually glad it came out for one reason: Before the diamond shop, these animals came in GIFT CARDS, to shops which some people couldn't get to... Some including myself. Think about it... The diamond shop gives everyone a chance to get these animals without having to use real money, unless you're NM. My mother had to ask a friend who lives far away to get me my arctic wolf card, since I wasn't near the shop where it was sold. I, for one, do not agree that the diamond shop should be removed. I say, be thankful that they made these animals EASIER to get, with patience. No offence, this is just my opinion. I would actually be sad if they removed the DS, for the reason I mentioned.

DeleteYou guys there is a special island at the adventure base camp that you can only fly to with an eagle but the portal isn't open yet!!! I think it is a future eagles only adventure. :D It won't let me play normal adventures with my eagle. I guess it would be too much of a cheat. XD

I got eight on swoopy eagle! It helps to press the spacebar instead of clicking. Also eagles can just fly way to much! It's like the flying glitch! They can go into so many different little spaces that regular animals can't go into.

So, I guess I'm also included in that portion of people who are upset with eagles being in the Diamond Shop. Indeed, it is quite disappointing. I didn't get my hopes up too high because the main part of the last update was for nonmembers: the sunken ship den became available to all jammers. So I don't know if they do "all jammer" updates twice in a row. Yet the last animal to become available to all jammers was the sea turtle, and I believe that was in March 2013. So you'd think they'd come out with another all jammer animal after that long period of time. But nooo...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, overall I think eagles are pretty cool. And it's pretty darn awesome that they can fly up to other places. But they don't seem like they would be a Diamond Shop kind of animal. At least to me. I guess I'm sorta jealous of eagles lol. The high school that I'll be entering in as a freshman (yes, I know I'm old) has their team name as "Eagles." So I reallllllly wish I could have one. Hopefully they'll come out with another flying animal for all jammers.
But you know, have you ever wondered why the majority of diamond shop items are for members? I mean, I like how they came out with a few nonmember items for today. But really, I think it should be like this: If someone, whether they're member or nonmember, has enough diamonds, shouldn't they be able to buy what they want? Now, don't get me wrong. I actually think having membership in the game is a good idea. AJHQ has to get their money somehow, right? And overall, nonmembers aren't treated THAT bad (if you compare it to Club Penguin). But I think of diamonds as an extra currency in the game that are used to purchase exclusive items. I personally think that everything in the Diamond Shop should be for nonmembers. Why? Because I feel as if they have enough diamonds, they should buy whatever they want. With gems it's different, but items purchased with gems aren't really that exclusive.
Seriously, If I had to change three member privileges into all jammer privileges, they would be...
1. The ability to change color of furniture and clothing.
2. The ability to purchase all Diamond Shop items.
3. The ability to... hmm, idk.... I can't really think of anything else. So those were my top 2 wishes XD.
And to all you people complaining about rares coming out in the Diamond Shop. Look, there's more to AJ then just rares, okay?
Hmm.. Swoopy Eagle. I find it pretty funny that AJ made a parody of Flappy Bird. Btw, I only have a score of 39 on Flappy Bird. My friend has a score of like 64. Frustration.....
Also, do you guys notice that emerald ring in that ad about new items in the Diamond Shop? It looks so FABULOUS!!! I sure hope it's for all jammers.
And also, I've decided that I'll do a rating out of 5 stars for every update. So I rate this update 3 out of 5 stars.

DeleteOMG yes! I've thought about that one before! I guess I didn't think about it while making that list. Definitely, nonmembers should have a right to receive gifts! It ANNOYS THE LIVING HECK OUT OF ME when I win a fashion show, and before I have time to tell them that I can't open gifts, they've already sent it to me! D:

DeleteHmm... yeah, good point. In my opinion, I think opening the gifts sent in jamagrams is slightly more important because you can't say much in a jamagram anyway. But that's just my opinion.
DeleteI always try to save my diamonds and never spend them and set them aside for possible new animals. I have been saving up mine since I spent them all on the kangaroo last year, and was expecting they might make a diamond shop only animal come out some time in 2014, so I always try to prepare and have 10 spare diamonds. I bought an eagle today and will start saving my diamonds for whatever diamond shop only animal might come out next. Because I am plan ahead of time, the diamond shop system doesn't bug me all that much. But I can understand how it could be frustrating, especially for those who have to ask their parents for membership cards. If I want a den item or clothing item from the diamond shop (like an unrare spike or a tail armor) I will trade for one. There is always someone willing to trade one for old monday rares, as surprising as that may sound. ;D

I know it's easy to lose that perspective when a shiny new animal is for sale and flashing in your face. But really in the big picture, I don't believe animal jam is being unfair.

Deletewelp, if a month cost about $6, and there's 12 months in a year, 6x12 is $72 so they saved about 14 dollars, which is about 2 months of membership, and they get all those extra diamonds. I say kitty5748's parents are pretty smart!

Oh my gosh! I feel so sorry for the beta/rare Jammers! DX With Dragon gloves, Hot Cocoa machine, and pet tigers out in the Diamond Shop. Not the new clouds because they don't have the "RARE" plaque, but the old ones do have the "RARE" plaque. They hadn't entirely lost their value, I think, because it takes a while to get the amount of diamonds needed to buy that certain item- not like gems. Hopefully if AJHQ brings more rare/beta items into the Diamond Shop, they will put a "RARE" plaque on the ones not from the Diamond Shop. Oh yeah, did you guys realize the change AJHQ made to the Sol Arcade? They put "Swoopy Eagle" where "Best Dressed" usually is and now put "Best Dressed" close by to "Falling Phantoms". ^-^

It will take me 7 weeks to save up the diamonds for the eagle. Then I will have 3 weeks to be it before my membership runs out. :c I wish I could just buy some diamonds but they cost to much DX

ReplyDeleteOh my word...... Flappy bird is here.... Um. My highscore I got on AJ's version was 10! On the real version I got 2 :3 And I only got 8 diamonds so I am trying to persuade my parents to get me one, obviously with my money (which I only got a couple of pounds left, due to me buying a how to train your dragon toothless action figure which had a 55cm wingspan! It was £39.99 pounds....) cause I also found out that AJHQ have made diamond cards! Which are actually kinda cheap (especially for 10 diamonds!(For me that is :/).

I mean I managed to get a dragon glove and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT XD(It was orange!), then I decided to trade it for a golden legend glove, then for a golden lava which I am still using. I REALLY WANT THE EAGLE BECAUSE YOU CAN ALMOST DO SKYAWAYS AGAIN! ^-^

They probably wouldn't get sued, since there are many remakes of flappy bird, since the guy who made it took it down because it ruined "His simple life" :/

There I was. In the middle of a eagle ring. I had no idea what to do. So I stood still. And then took out a red cape. And a lolipop with swirl. I tamed the eagles. They were then taken to the local Jamaa zoo. I came every day to see my feathered friends. And one day, one flew out of its cage. Her name was ruby. " Ruby come back!" I yelled. She kept flying until one day in jamaa she landed in the diamond shop for display. And that's how eagles came. ~56yy
