Nonsense. Math can be art. For example if you drew one of those twos bigger than the other, then you're already using proportion... haha and if you give them eyes. Always give things eyes.

DeleteI could NEVER draw like that.... on the computer, at least... I'm fairly good on paper.. But I'm too personal about my stuff... heh heh.. -shoves stuff in a briefcase with a lock, shoves it in a safe, locks safe, puts safe in vault, ships vault to S.H.I.E.L.D. base- So personal.

Huh, I've submitted like 3 drawings and they still haven't been posted. It kinda bothers me that almost all the art here is done on a computer... just dosen't seem like an actual drawing to me...
ReplyDeleteI still like drawing with paper but I think drawing on a computer makes it look neater and it's easier to use. Although I am terrible on the computer with a mouse; I need a tablet.
DeleteDrawing on a computer is real drawing, because you can use a drawing tablet instead of your mouse which is like paper.

Drawing on the computer is pretty much the same as drawing on a paper, if not harder.
DeletePeople sometimes think the drawing program does most of the work for you, which is totally not true...
It does make your life easier with layers and all that jazz, though. But you still have to do the drawing part.

On two accounts, I submitted little kiddy drawings, and they accepted them! I'll get lots of artist plaques that way. So my tip of the day-- draw the WORST art to get submitted! =^-^=

Yeah, AJHQ submit random art if you have noticed. If your on Instagram, theres' this inappropriate picture. It wasn't too inappropriate but all I can do is not mention of it, lol. But that goes to show, AJHQ don't really submit the good art that people have spent time into. Merp

You must remember, there's young Jammers and all art is good.
I know, but I wish that they would accept older player's art that they worked REALLY HARD ON yet it never gets entered. I purposely made childish art once, and that got in, but none of my actual art. And I never said that the art was bad, I just wish that AJHQ would accept a wider variety of art. You are entitled to your own opinion. Haters gonna hate.

I think they just choose art that is related to their theme. Like the one on this blog page right now. Most of them are suns setting on an ocean.
