“So, where do phantoms come from?”
This question remained dormant until an old version of the Jamaa Journal revealed the short story of Mira’s emotional outbreak. Jump ahead for the in depth look at the purpose of the phantoms!
The Jamaa Journal consisted of an old issue that arrived before the Day of the Phantoms. The Jamaa Journal writes “Mira, the Sky Mother, was sad that she had lost her companion Zios, the Sky Father. Her feelings of sadness and anger fell to the ground mixed with the elements of Jamaa, and formed the dark and mysterious phantoms. Now, the phantoms’ only goal is to bring chaos and destruction to Jamaa. That’s why we celebrate the Day of the Phantoms: to trick and tease them, preventing them from doing their dark deeds!”
So you see, phantoms are technically an abstract part of Mira’s mind. She didn’t intend to create these creatures, they themselves are Mira’s emotions of despair. The only thing they know is to create the destruction of Jamaa.
But what else do they want?
This is the line-up of posters in The Search for Greely. They have already captured Greely, but what will they do once they’ve captured the remaining alphas? Bring them to Mira? Bring back Zios?
As you know, if you round up enough Jammers in the Lost Temple of Zios and sleep by the fallen Zios statue, then phantoms will appear!
Now, when Jammers sleep, it shows that they are vulnerable. Do the phantoms think that they can plot destruction by viewing the Lost Temple of Zios and its Jammers?
Do you have an idea of what the phantoms might be up to?
