Am I alone?
In this darkness?
I've struggled
To find a light
But instead of a light
I found a hand.
My friend's hand.
She lead me to the light
And showed me the good
The happy
The kind.
I no longer fear this darkness
Because my friend will always by there
To lend a hand
To guide me to the light.
