Konnichiwa. Sorry for the late-ish post. But anyways, today being a Monday, we have a new rare in store; the Rare Eagle Hat. Sold on the 6th page of Jam Mart Clothing for 750 gems.
Over on the Daily Explorer, AJ has posted a reminder of today's rare. I wouldn't buy this rare, but I like the color choices.
I think they blend well together.

Miacupcake1 sent in this funny glitch that was affecting me as well. The scrolling bar is offset from the main main menu, the achievements and gems are overlayed, and your badge doesn't appear to change!
Our clearance item from the day is the Painter's Tarp, solid in the Jam Mart Furniture tarp. It's for all jammers, so everyone be sure to grab a color if you have the chance. Never know what will be popular!
And lastly, for our little Mystery Monday, we have the glowing gem statue of Mira. What is she emerging from. Why are there four crystals, each pointing in a different compass direction? Where do these mysterious crystal structures come from, and what do they represent on Mira's wings? Is she this colorful in her true form?

Second! I agree with Tribal Bunnies down there, the colours are nice, since there can only be two-ish shades on this item, and AJHQ decided to make them variations of the same general colour. Also, am I still the only one noticing that Play Wild came on iOS? (probably not...)

ReplyDeleteYes, it is like they both started out as medium purple, the beak's color went on the lighter and bluer side, while the main color went on the darker side of plain purple.
ReplyDeleteOpposite colors, and similar colors go together.
ReplyDeleteOpposites, like blue and orange, go together, and if you looked at my animals, a lot of them are blue and orange. Colors like purple and pink, purple and blue, blue and green, red and orange, ect. go together since they are right next to eachother on the color wheel.

ReplyDeleteLovely rare today! I do love that it is both colorful and for all Jammers. I will be sure to get my griffon role-play started up again. I love the colors in it and I think they should use that scheme more often. If I remember correctly, the eagle hat was made by a Jammer themselves. I am sure they are very excited about a rare edition of their own creation.
ReplyDeleteThe glitch is having an affect on me as well, but not as drastic. Mine is just a bit bugged and shows the gems and achievements over my nameplate menu. However, my nameplate is still changeable, even though I do not need to change it right now from my usual turquoise blue with a Zios mask design.
Funny for today's mystery to be on that since just yesterday I decided to get that den out and create a school. Along with our teachers and I, this should be another mystery we cannot suggest to the students, haha. Perhaps it is my fault that everything in our school is so mysterious, though; ever time a student gets in trouble I change my circular chair to a stone throne and we have random crystals and off-limit places everywhere. Anyways, I think the crystals probably suggest the land they point to. The purple looks a bit mysterious and is the same color we think of in relationship with phantoms, so it is key to the rainy forest of pine trees it points to. Blue is a more royal color, so it makes since that it points to the palace. The green gem is a more natural color and points to the open field that many Jammers use for a garden in such den. The gold seems to be a sun-worn color and perhaps the color of grain or other crops related to the huts in it's direction. The colors being in Mira's wings suggest that all is combined and together in Jamaa- royalty, darkness, nature, and peasants all together. Well, great post ya'll, and keep Jammin'! (Also, my username is Dolphingirl2424 if you want to join our little school of secrets. :P)
I agree. I also think we should have lesser known animals, such as lemurs, possums (that would be awesome), or ostriches. We also need crustaceans and amphibians. I need to be a frog!

ReplyDeleteWell, it depends on the person. Some people may find that fair, and some wont. From my experience most people have said that it is an under trade and that tikis are not worth much anymore. But it depends on the person you are trading with and in my opinion, you might have to add a little because people want more for their headdresses nowadays.

Yavar had finally reached his studio and set down the clay immediately. Oh how his back ached! He was turning thirty in about a fortnight, which was old, considering most male chimpanzees life to about thirty-two. Yavar wrapped up the clay with some expensive paper he found at the market. He had been spending quite a bit of money lately, and it was all for this statue of his.
Yavar laid out of the gems bought for this statue. Yellow, blue, purple, and green gleamed around his dark studio. All the gems stood for different things. Blue for the sky, green for the earth, yellow for the sunlight, and purple for love. Yavar always had an obsession over purple,so he chose that for love.Yet, Yavar had never been married, but he did have a significant other. That was a story for another day,Yavar thought, he still doesn't like to talk about diane.
That night, Yavar worked on his statue of Mira. It took 6 months to finish, but when he was done the statue looked magnificent! Mira's wings were mad out of the gems and were outstretched , and looked as if she were ready to fly.
