Rare Knitted Hat

Hey jammers! Today's Monday rare is located on the second page of the Shiveer Shoppe catalog. The Rare Knitted Hat!
Neat colors right? AJHQ has posted about it on the Daily Explorer. There is also a late post from yesterday, all about this month's member gift, the owl pets. What's yours look like?

Any-whooo, for today's mystery, let's write an AJ legend...
This one is brought to us by cookers113578
As you've seen, on one of the alpha loading pages Graham is telling an story of a deer or moose-like animal. There is also a matching figure in the Canyon Pathway. Your task is to create the legend that Graham is telling. Is the animal fleeing? Or is it leading the phantoms away? Something else entirely?
You decide!

New art is posted on the Spirit Art mini blog!

  4. In those times, it was time of war. The animals got hunted from phantoms. Though why we don't have elk right now in animal jam is probably because the elk died out. Graham is telling the legend of how phantoms used to hunt.

  7. Perhaps this deer or moose was one of the animals that became lost after the phantoms attacked. However, antlers and gazelle horns are often sold in town,so I wonder if there is a darker reason for their disappearance. Maybe Graham wants to bring them back! And the painting on the Canyons Pathway could possibly be Peck's doing- she could want to raise awareness as well.

    5. Dear Expert whatever numbers which I'm too lazy to write,
Snowy's not copying, it's copying when you write EXACTLY what someone else has written and not given them credit also known as plagiarism. It's not copying when you put it in YOUR OWN WORDS AND GIVEN THE CREDIT TO THE WRITTER. So please do me a favor and get your facts right, and just because you say you wrote exact thing on your bling doesn't mean snowy went and said "OHHH!!! IM GONNA COPY!!!!!" Snowy probably doesn't know you.

But what you are saying is that when someone steals your idea, that is not plagiarism?
By copying someone you refer to "copy/paste", but I am talking about stealing (or copying) an idea. I have my right to be as original as I can. But when someone imitates my work, then what's the point of my creativness?

Morphie. one day morphie lost his way back to where graham lived.after 2 days just as morphie saw graham in his village he was suddenly chased by phantoms.. he ran for his life!! but the phantoms caught him. he was kept with the other animals in the the dungeon.. and graham was getting worrid about morphie.he suddenly realized that the phantoms could have got him. he ran to the place where the phantoms lived..he quitely went all his way to the dungeon... and he freed all the animals as well as morphie!!and they all escaped..And now when graham is a alpha he kept a special place in jamaa, coral canyons cave where morphie lives.. no one knows where the cave is. maybe the deer sign in coral canyons leads to the cave of morphie...graham still tells the animals in jamaa the story of morphie.....guys i hope u like my story.. user-riyanaroy

  12. long ago in a world jamaa does not know of today, There were animals roaming freely not being threatend by jammers The alphas roamed freely plants grew all around in a beautiful world. That all seemed to change when an elk came into jamaa. The elk was taller than most animals except the giraffe, He was beefier and much more feircer than the lions. he wanted to be an alpha that was his only wish. He consulted liza "liza make me an alpha" he commanded "im sorry I cannot do that" she snapped back.Elk was furious so he consulted greely. "Make me an alpha" he commanded. greely said nothing he just fwooshed him away into canyons pathways where he sat not a word when graham showed up and said " I cannot make you an alpha. but i can make you a part of jamaa's history" he simply conked the elk on the head and said "spirit of this elk be painted on these walls of jamaa. And so now jammers everywhere tell the story of the elk of the alphas.

  13. Here is my story! I hope you like it!

Some people think there were six original animals in Jamaa. Tigers, Wolves, Koalas, Pandas, Monkeys, and Bunnies. But the truth is there used to be seven animals. The moose, they had an alpha to, her name Victoria. The moose was not a lucky animal. Even though they were big and strong, the phantoms knew their weakness. Greely heard some phantoms wispering about driving the moose away from Jamaa! Greely tried to warn Victoria, but she wouldn't listen. "You are just trying to scare us aren't you? Try doing that to someone else." Victoria told him. "Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." Greely replied. On a cold winter day, the moose were in Sarepia Forest trying to find some grass to eat. The phantoms sneaked up on them, and starting zapping them. The moose were very afraid. "Greely was right, I could have stopped this from happening!" Victoria cryed. Greely informed the other shamans, and they came to help. When all the phantoms were gone, Victoria thanked them. "Thank you. But Jamaa is not safe for us. We must leave." Victoria said, with sorrow in her eyes. "You don't have to leave! Jamaa is safe. We just have some obstacles." Liza tried to comfort the shivering moose alpha. "I am sorry but I have made up my mind, we are leaving, goodbye friends. Goodbye Jamaa..."

That's my story, hope you liked it! :)

  14. The Stag
Many years ago, Jamaa was a free world, no civilization, no buildings, all beautiful forests and meadows. there where many more animals then just wolves rabbits, and tigers, but there where cheetahs, eagles, kangaroos, bears, and many more brilliant animals! But one animal was the only of his kind, he was the most beautiful, most kind, most understanding, and the bravest of all the forest he was a stag. yet everyone was jealous of his wonderful gift, so they bullied him and he went into hiding. he wanted to prove himself to them, show them that he should be trusted among them. so he set of on a epic quest. along his quest he made many friends, a wolf called Greely, a rabbit called peck, a monkey called graham, a koala called Cosmo, a panda called Liza, and a tiger which he become best friend with, called sir Gilbert. he and sir Gilbert where still young and foolish, and went of on their own. But on their quests, they found a wonderful looking, shiny, glorious ruby! they fought over it and in the end the stag won and he left sir Gilbert laying on the floor of the cave. What they where unaware was that the cave was a cave of good, it was called the cave of loving. and the selfishness and cruelty that they showed in the cave of loving set a curse on the ruby, a curse that was later set free... it was the curse of the phantoms. the phantoms escaped the ruby shortly after, and started terrorizing the world of Jamaa. it was a horrible time. all the animals disappeared from the planet of Jamaa and the phantoms took over. the stag, after seeing what he had done felt that it was his responsibility to get rid of the phantoms and so when they saw him they knew that they had not got ride of all the animals and they all started chasing him. he led them over a cliff where they all fell to there doom, but the last phantom grabbed his leg and pulled him down with him. his friends from his quest heard what has happened and came to his rescue. but they where to late. the stag lay wounded on the ground of the cliff. and was slowly dying. sir Gilbert walked sadly up to the stag.. and the stag said his last words.. "t-take m-m-my ruby... t-take it!p-please take c-care of all that's l-left of my h-home... please.. take the r-ruby to remind you of me a-always..." and he died there.. in front of sir Gilbert and all his friends. it was a sad, sad day for everyone all those left in Jamaa. Sir Gilbert was saddest of all. he cried and cried for nights. And when he finally got better, he organized a meeting for all the alphas( shamans). they decided that they would take care of the stags land, and honor his bravery.
They have never forgotten on him, in fact, they remember him to this very day. in fact, sir Gilbert wheres the ruby on a ring given to him by the other alphas as a memories of the cruelty that broke him and his friend apart.
    The end

hope you like it snowy! i think the story is rather sad, the ending i mean :(
    thanks!

  16. A long time ago there was a deer named Squirt that was the runt of the herd.He felt he was weak and couldn't really do anything, but one day the shamans came upon him and said,"You are to gather up your herd and lead the animals of jamaa to victory once again from the phantoms."Squirt wasn't sure of the task, but he took it in hand.He told his herd what happened and to follow him and defeat the phantoms. They decided to believe Squirt because he always ended up right in crisises. They battled the phantoms and led jamaa to victory once again. They celebrated with a great feast and all the animals where there.

  17. this will be fun

back in the old days of jamma........

It had been a long day of battle and the alphas had been fighting the phantoms since morning. They had been fighting for so long that some of them where about to fall from tiredness. Then Liza had an idea, if they could find shelter then they could rest and take care of the minor injuries. Sir Gilbert at first didn't agree because he felt as if he would be quitting and he was definitely not a quitter. So Liza lead all the alphas to a clearing. Little did they know that the phantoms had followed. Later that night something or someone had nudged peck. Peck woke up and found a deer nudging her softly with its horns. Then peck woke everyone else up because the phantoms were attacking! Then the deer ran away. Peck didn't know why but she followed it. Everyone else did too. The deer led them all to a little cave in coral canyons. There they were safe. The next morning peck took some chalk and made a sillohuete of a deer outside the cave. It is still there today as a memory of the deer that saved the alphas. Graham also still likes to tell that story at campfires.

  18. Today, all the animals were huddled around their fires, as the winter was harsher yet milder than normal. The winds were strong, yet the snow was weak. The alphas took this as a sign that Mira was warning them.
"The sign says that an antlered wolf will save us all."Cosmo said, reading the wind and plants below the snow. Peck laughed.
    "Antlered wolf?!"she exclaimed. Cosmo turned.
'Yes, an antlered wolf."he said. Lisa looked shocked.
"But the only one is Snowyclaw, and she is busy reviving us! Who could be the second?"she said. Cosmo shook his head.
    "I have no idea."

    The phantoms were plotting, though.
"We must attack today,"said a scout. The phantom king nodded.
"Yes, they are tending their fires and boarding up the windows. The ice phantoms can be carried by the gusts."he said.
"Get the ice troopers!"The iced up phantoms appeared, and rode away on a gust that blew into the Zios pit. "WE SHALL DESTROY!"a phantom roared, and the others took up the chant.

Melissa was bored. She had outrun tornadoes in Coral Pathways, and painted herself, and grew plants, played practical jokes on some passerby, and yet it still snowed on her dusty pelt. She was about to go scuba dive when she heard something, a horrible sound.
"Anyaha!"something cackled. She stared at the wind, and saw ice phantoms invisibly riding on the wind.
"Take that!"she cried, and a tornado blocked them. She was a hidden Coraxese, one who had hidden even from her sister, Shade.(Read www.animaljamphantombreeder.blogspot.com for more details) To be continued...

    1. Melissa planned, and planned, then came up with an idea. Since she was worthless, as she could not revive the Coraxese, she would make a sacrifice. Using all her willpower, she made all the winds come toward her. The ice phantoms looked confused.
"Follow me,you ratty dingbats!"she shouted. The phantoms growled in anger. She ran with all her might, running away from Jamaa, beyond the Forgotten Valley, and even into the Ice Palaces of the Coraxese. She ran until she tired... when the alphas realized their savior was dying.
"Melissa, you shall forever be preserved in Coral Pathways as a painting."Greely said.
      Melissa perked up when she

As for the phantoms, they decided to live in the Ice Palaces, and they never disturbed Jamaa again. The winter soon ended, but the Alphas told stories about the antlered wolf, and gave Snowyclaw the power of voice, to continue the legacy of the Alphas...
(However, the name of the wolf was lost over the eons... until this story was written.)

  19. here is my story. Before the phantoms came, there was deer. A deer who loves exploring places and nature. One day the deer decided to go somewhere far away no animal went to yet.He decided to take a rest in the caves. Then he woke up by a buzzing noise and saw phantoms looking at him.He didn't know who they were but all he did is ran back to Jamaa township. As he got back to Jamaa township. A bunny screamed "MONSTERS!!!!" and everyone started running for there life. As the deer turn around and realize he brought those buzzing things to Jamaa. He was so worry that he was gonna get kick out of Jamaa for what he had done. When the phantom invasion was over, he ran away.He wasn't heard from again after the invasion. The shams couldn't even find the deer. But the shams was fine what the deer done. It brought people together more then ever! So they decided to carve the picture of the deer. and eveyone call that deer phantom. -Story made by Lpsojam

I think there used to be deer in Jamma, and that was the deer shaman. When the shamans left Jamma,he also also stayed behind with Liza. But,he should have gone with the other shamans on their journeys,so bad things started happening to him,and there always seemed to be a dark shadow in his sight. His deer were growing weaker by the day,so they ran away from Jamma. He became the only deer left in Jamma, and Mira thought he was no longer considered a shaman, since his deer were gone, and the spirits were sending bad happenings to him.Mira took him back to the real world, and Mira said if he could get his strength and deer back, she would let him in Jamma.

  24. The deer/moose thing, Snowy, is you. Although Peck cleverly disguised you as a moose-ish deer. You have antlers, or at least your wolf does, and you helped bring back the Shamans. Graham once had a prophecy about you, and to test you he found you and talked with you. You passed. I've said it before and I'll say it again-- I've always thought of you as a Shaman. I guess it turns out I was right.

  27. Once there was an alpha that was like no other. It was like a horse but it had horns on its head. This alpha's name was Chester, and Chester was a deer. When the Phantoms attacked Jamma, Chester was the first to react to them. This is the story of what happened.
Mira was walking back to her home after a long day of teaching the way of the Alphas. On her way home she saw something in the woods behind her."Who's there?" she asked. When the thing didn't answer she became more stern "Who's there!" she said again. Then out walked a strange looking animal.
"It's ok i'm not here to hurt you" the animal said "I have heard of the phantom attacks and i have come to help."
"What is your name?" said Mira. She was a lot calmer now that she new that the animal was here to help. "Also, what are you?"
"My name is Chester" he said "and I am a deer." He was out of the woods fully now and Mira could get a good look at him. He had Light brown flowing fur that glowed slightly in the sun. On his head were big antlers about three feet tall. He was strong and scary looking and Mira was defiantly glad he was on her side.
"Ok Chester, would you like to meet the other alphas?" Chester nodded and Mira started walking towards the other alphas.

  29. Part two:

The Alpha house was made out of old bricks and sticks. Inside of it there were spears, bows and arrows, and swords. There were also drums that belonged to Peck, pots, and paintings of all the Alphas. This house was located in what is now known as Canyons Pathway. As Chester walked into the house, he got many strange looks from the Alphas. Peck heard something so she stopped drumming and turned around. She yelped a little and dropped the drums when she saw Chester. The other Alphas quickly turned around and when they saw the big scary deer they scrambled to get their weapons.
"No!" shouted Mira and all the animals stopped. "He is on our side and I trust him"
"But Mira!" said Sir Gilbert "Don't you see him? He has antlers that are three feet tall. Also you just meet him! Are you sure he is trustworthy?"
"I trust him" said Greely "I mean even though he is big and scary, Mira trusts him so why shouldn't we? Also he looks like he would be a good person to have on our side."
"Thank you" said Chester as Greely walked by. It didn't look it, but Chester is actually really shy. He didn't know it then, but Chester had just meet the animal who would soon become his best friend.
"Ok" said Mira "We have to start training, you never know when the phantoms will attack." All the animals grabbed their weapons and started practicing. Just then the door busted open and in came Peck screaming. "The phantoms are here! Run! Run! Run!"

    Part three coming next :)

  30. There once was this little moose who was being attacked by the phantoms and then a monkey came along and said "I am Graham and i am here to help you." so that night he and graham came up with a plan where the moose would run to the hidden path between the beach and the canyon and trap them there. then just as he got into the pathway a phantom twice the size of him shot electric sparks at him and he died. Peck who had seen this all go down went to Graham and asked him "Did you know that the young moose would die?" "No." That night she snuck into the pathway and painted the picture that we can see today.

All the animals got with their partner and went out. Greely and Chester went to the north part of Jamma.
"So Chester" said Greely as the walked "Where did you come from?"
After a while Chester answered "Well, My family and I lived with a lot of other deer north of Jamma. Then one day the phantoms attacked us. I was the only one who made it out alive." he said sadly "all my brothers, sisters, and friends were killed. Along with my parents. Sense then I have vowed to seek revenge on the the phantoms and make sure my family and friends didn't die in vain."
"Wow! I am so sorry!" Greely answered. Just then the phantom attacked them. Chester was the first to react. He charged them with his horn killing about 10 phantom at a time. But then, the king of all phantoms came out of the forest and took Greely. Chester wasn't going to watch another one of his friends die to the phantoms. He ran as fast as he could toward the phantom and he ran into it. his force was so strong he made the phantom explode, with him in it. Greely was freed, but Chester was killed while he was saving him. Everyone was sad of his death, especially Greely who became very close to him. When they got back home they carved a deer outside of their house to show Chester protecting them from the phantoms. And now, whenever you see Greely he will have a deer around him showing how Chester saved him.

    The End :)

  33. In the begining when Jamaa had no civilized leaders the big animals fought the mighty phantoms. Since that moose(his name was jack frost)was a little moose the greater warriors thought he was a runt so he could not fight. Jack frost was infuriated! So the next coming day he stood up to the big rhino and said "I know I am small but that does not me I am weak!" he grunted. Then in return the rhino said "well show me you are not weak you runt!" he snorted. The mighty rhino then pushed Jack Frost out of the way and went off into Jamaa. "I will show him that I can fight of a HUNDRED phantos!" he thought. The battle was raging in soon to be Coral Canyons so Jack Frost headed that way. He stumbled into a few other mighty warriors. Then we he finally got there it was terrible! The phantoms had attacked everything! they had taken over the beutiful pathways, the gorgeous towers made from adobe rocks, and espically all the wonderful trees! Jack Frost had nothing to lose! He charged towards the phantoms with his half-way grown moose horns. But as soon as he reached the phantom re jolted back! the phantoms were to strong! He turned around and started to run and saw the mighty rhino laughing his head off! Now Jack Frost knew he had to beat the phantoms or else he would always be a runt! He turned around and faced the phantoms. Jack Frost then took a deep deep breath and pnce again charged at the phantoms. He hit the phantom HARD! This time he did not jolt back! The phantom--- it was gone! he had destoyed a phantom! Jack Frost was truly a mighty warrior! All the mighty warriors praised him for his heroic doings. Now he was considered a mighty warrior and fought off the very last phantoms until-- when he battled the last phantom in Coral Canyons he collapsed on the ground. All the mighty phantoms honored his bravery by telling this very story to all the monkeys and told the monkeys to tell it to the tigers and so on and so forth. And since he fought his last battle close to Coral Canyons pathway they honered him by painting a shadow of him on the rock. And when those Mighty warriors told the monkeys one was graham and when he heard he thought that he could do that too. And the same thing happened with Sir Gilbert and Liza and Peck and Cosmo they all thought they could fight the mighty phantoms just like Jack Frost. And so started the start of Jamaa's mighty Shamans.

  35. One day, Graham told a story about the past that was almost real, by that i mean not all was real! So since Graham told the stories there was always a deer. The stories he said was One great day was very very fun, all jammers played and played, but no one knew the phantoms got out of there cage. Farmers and deers that once was there were all gone! No deers or farmers, but it might soon begin today. But so, many have farmer stuff but no deer. They vanished and never came back. But to remember them peck drew as many deers in hidden places, and only in hidden places because if not, phantoms all over would come out and fight the whole place, no one knows why phantoms hate deers. But could it be the war that had started is still coming to Aj, will see the when it does -ellanicole2003

  37. This is what I think it is. This is Graham's story: There was once a land beyond the mountains were there was a different kind of animal then you have ever seen! It was like a horse with beautiful antlers on its head. It was called a stag. Anyways, in this land these stags were also citizens on Jamma. They lived happily in there land. There was one stag who was the guardian of the stag spirit stone which made it so they could live in Jamma and there own land, but one day, Sherima, the stag alpha and guardian of the spirit stone, heard a loud crash and the earth trembled for something had fallen out of the sky! All of the stags looked at were the sound had come from and there the saw a giant crack in the ground and inside was father sky, Geoz! He was in the hole very badly injured and all the stags tried to get him out of the hole and help, but they couldn't. He was stuck and within a few minutes he died... The stags were horrified with what just happened and the only thing they could do was go back home and cry. Sherima went to Mira and told her what happened and Mira became very sad and she cried so hard that her tears turned into phantoms and they were full of anger and hate and they spread all of Jamma destroying anything in there path, but the Alphas fought back! They won the battle but they soon found out that the Stag Alpha was gone and that the land full of other stags was sealed up forever from the rest of Jamma because the phantoms had attacked there land and the Stag Alpha protected there land and spirit stone as much as she could but the phantoms cornered her and electrocuted her and she fainted while the phantoms destroyed their spirit stone! The phantoms soon left after they destroyed the spirit stone, but the stags could no longer go into Jamma because their spirit stone was destroyed. They could only look at Jamma now forever.

    Sorry if its too sad.

  39. Here's my story,

"Long ago, as you know, a world was born. Created. And in this world was great good, but also great evil. Great evil, which caused great chaos... Beyond the great mountains of the pandas, and beyond the great forests of wolves, was a hidden land of deers. Animals with hooves, yet sort of horns upon their heads. They were plentiful, yet unknown to Jamma. For these creatures hid in secret, and had a mysterious power... An Alpha named, Ozonay(Oe-zun-aye), guarded these creatures. They, in return, respected their leader. Unfortunetly, it wasn't so peaceful when the phantoms came... THe phantoms chased down many of the deers... And now, their country, their specie is close to extinction... Civilization, almost lost... In order to protect their civilization, Ozonay locked away the deers. In order to protect his kin, he later imprisoned himself in what we now call, Epic Wonders... Only the animals deemed worthy can speak to Ozonay and his cilivization. And, eventually, unlock it. It is said that Graham, is the worthy one. And he shall come and bring forth a messenger. A messenger that will spread the word to jammers... Even now, this messenger may never know what change he, or she, shall bring...
Now, you must be thinking.. Do Graham and Ozonay still speak to eachother? This question remains unknown. Only the messenger shall unlock this question. And only the messenger will talk to Ozonay, other than Graham. The messenger, when Graham is gone, will take his place. Now, this is not only the legend of the deers, it is the legend of the spirit stones.
Which can be used for either great good, or great evil... And this is why us Jammers must protect it. ALl must play their part... To stop the chaos."

I hope ya liked it >:D

  41. Part two:
The shamans (alphas) were very sad that the stags could no longer come into Jamma. The Stag Shaman was so weak that when she woke up after fainting she was going to die soon. Her last words to all the stags were, "Find a way back into Jamma. There is another stone. Find it, for all of us!" Then she was gone forever.. When the stags heard what she said they decided to never give up on finding that stone and the other shamans also knew about the stone and decided to help find it too. In memory of the brave Stag Shaman the Shamans always told the story of her bravery and drew pictures of her on their homes, for she had also made it so the phantoms could not go into Jamma also because she had cursed them so they could never come into Jamma again. She was the only one who knew the spell. She protected Jamma from the other phantoms. But there are still some phantoms who came into Jamma before she cast her spell that are still lurking in the shadows, hiding from the shamans.

That was part two of my story.

  43. Heres my story:
Once, animals known as the Ma'Klee roamed a land east of Jamaa. The Ma'Klee were large deer-like animals. There pelts would glow in the moonlight, and there horns were like giant knives. One day, when the Ma'Klee were sleeping, a bridge appeared. One Ma'Klee known as Rasc woke up and went out into the meadow. Rasc was munching on some grass when he noticed a long bridge sprawled across the ocean. Rasc was a curious Ma'Klee so he decided to go across the bridge and find out what was on the other side. So Rasc pranced across the bridge. It took Rasc 3 days to get across. When Rasc finally got across bridge, he saw a great blue heron, crying. The heron cried so hard that a great puff of smoke suddenly appeared and shadows emerged out of the darkness. A bolt of lightning hit a tree, causing a fire. The shadows became shapes and attacked Rasc. Rasc let out a cry for help, though he thought there was no help at all. Across the ocean, the Ma'Klee heard Rasc's cry for help and dashed across the bridge. The Ma'Klee got to Jamaa and saw Rasc tied to a burning tree. They quickly untied Rasc and saw the shadows. "Phantoms!" Rasc yelped. The Ma'Klee quickly realized that there would be war. The Ma'Klee fought the phantoms, many had died before animals known as the alphas arrived. The alphas healed as many Ma'Klee as they could, and few still survived. The alphas left, thinking the war was over, but it was not. One huge phantom fell from the , leaving dust everywhere. The Ma'Klee could not see, and the giant phantom knocked out many of them. Rasc was still alive, and the dust had cleared, so Rasc sprang onto the phantom. The phantom fought back and bit Rasc's neck with it's giant mouth. Rasc let out a scream of pain, and stuck his horns into the phantom's eyes. The phantom yelped and fell to the ground. Rasc was hurt badly by his wound, and soon died. None of the Ma'Klee were still alive, and the animals were extinct. However, the Ma'Klee saved Jamaa, and we would not be here today if they had not come.

Well, that's my story! Hope you like it!

Graham, feeling sleepy, rested his head on a patchy area of grass and slept. He awoke in the dream world. A starry white foal ran in a circle along a snowy ledge.

"Miss?" graham called out, worried for the foal. All the sudden the foal grew into a large, brown buck. The buck summoned him to follow and started to run. Graham couldent keep up with him so he plopped onto his back. After an hour (It seemed) They stopped in front of the canyons. "They are coming she whispered and got pulled down the canyon bridge in the distance by what seemed to be long black arms. "No!" Graham whispered and ran to ledge and stared down. But it was too late. Before he could look down he awoke into reality. What took him by shock is he was sleeping near where this buck had fallen down into the abiss. "What was that" He mumbled and stumbled over to the place he had awoken. "It was just a dream" Or WAS it?

  47. There once was a young moose named Charlie. Charlie grew up in the land of Jamma learning the way of the Alphas. He hoped that one day he would be granted the ultimate honor and become an Alpha. To do this he would have to pass three challenges. The first challenge is strength, the second is knowledge, and the third is bravery. One day Mira called all the Alphas together for a very important meeting. "I have chosen who will be the moose Alpha" she said "It will be Charlie" so she went to go get Charlie and told him "Charlie, you are going to be the moose Alpha, but only if you pass the challenges."
The young moose was so happy and jumped with joy "Ok Mira, I will do my best to show you, you did right by picking me" he said as he smiled away.
    "Charlie wait!" Mira said.
    "Yes Mira?" he answered.
"I will meet you at the hut at sunrise tomorrow for your first challenge, don't be late."
"Ok Mira!" he said as he smiled and walked away.
The next day Charlie arrived at the Alpha hut, and walked inside. "Charlie" said Mira there are two kinds of strength mental, and mussel. What kind do you think I mean?"
    "Mussel?" Charlie asked cautiously.
"Incorrect, today you will show me your mental strength."
    "But how Mira?" asked Charlie.
"Good question. I will put you in a trance and you with think your worst fears are coming true. You must stay calm and fight the fears to make the go away. If you can do this you will be one step closer to becoming an Alpha. Now close your eyes" Charlie obeyed her. Then Mira started chanting "Zios my love here me now. Put this young one in a trance, for his fears he must face, to fight and to advance." Then Charlie started to drift off.
"Where am I?" said Charlie as he woke up. He looked around, he was still inside the hut, but Mira was gone. He walked outside and saw his family being killed one by one. "No!!!!" he shouted as he started to cry "No!!!" His little five year old sister looked up at him.
"Help me Charlie. They're coming for me help!" then she got shot in the head. Charlie started to cry. Then Mira's words popped into his head. "To be an Alpha you must face your fears and fight them. You must stay strong." Charlie stood up and stopped crying. "You are not real!!" he shouted "You are made up. You are in my head!!" then He woke up. "Mira, Mira, it was horrible I-I-I saw my sister and..."
"I know what you saw young moose, but it wasn't real. Everyone in your family is alive and well and, you passed the first challenge!" Charlie gave a slight smile.
"What time should I meet you again tomorrow?" he asked. "Sunset" she answered "You need your rest."

  48. Part two:

The next day at sunset Charlie approached the hut. When he entered Mira was nowhere to be found. "Mira?" he said "Mira where are you?" Then at note fell to the floor. Gems will fly, shoot, and disappear. The next hint is where they start. "Oh yeah" said Charlie "this is the knowledge part of the test. Ok lets think. Gems will fly , shoot, and disappear. What does that mean?" He thought for a minute then he remembered. "Gem breaker!" he said. "In the game you shoot gems and make the fly, then when you get three in a row they disappear!" Charlie ran to the game and found the next clue. He found another note. Good job, you found the first clue, only two to go. You will find the next one where two worlds meet. "Two worlds meet? what are the worlds. Air, land, and water. Hmmm where to worlds meet..." he thought. "It can't be Air and land because that is everywhere. Wait! What about water and land. That would make a beach." "Crystal Sands!!!" he shouted. He ran to the beach and sure enough there was a note on the sand. This note said. Good job! you found the last note. After this you will find me. I am where the phantoms are and forever will be unless they rain again and become free. "Where are the phantoms kept?" he thought "Come on I know I know this." The temple of Zios, they are kept in the pit."He remembered. So he went the Zios and there he saw Mira.
"Good job young one you found me, you have proven you are smart and have passed the second challenge." Mira said. "Now it is late you go home, you have a big day tomorrow."
"Ok Mira" Charlie said as he walked off. Tomorrow was his final challenge. Bravery. He knew that it would be his hardest by far.

    Part three coming next

  49. Part three:

Charlie woke up to animals screaming. The phantoms were attacking!!! Charlie got out of bed as quickly as he could and ran outside to see what was going on. He saw animals, animals he knew, being taken up by the phantoms. He knew he had to save them. He went up to the nearest phantom and stabbed it with his antlers then it disappeared. He ran up to all the phantoms and did the same thing and soon all the phantoms were dead.
He had saved Jamma. Mira came up to him and said "Charlie, you have shown us that you are the bravest one of us all. You have pasted all three challenges and as a reward you are and Alpha." All the animals cheered and Charlie smiled. Peck carved a moose in Canyons Pathway next to the other Alphas. The other carving have disappeared, but Charlie's still remains and the other Alphas have been telling the new animals about his strength, knowledge, and bravery so they too can be like Charlie.

    The end.

  50. When Zios first created Mira as his one and only love, she wanted to be free to have her own feelings, and not believe in everything Zios said. She finally one day was looking for some food by an abandoned pond, and her first catch was a mackerel with a strange golden tint to it's scales. "Do not eat me! I will grant you one wish if you leave me free to swim and live", said the fish. Mira looked stunned. "You speak? Grant wishes? Well then, I want to have a mind of my own and not have to believe everything Zios says". The fish said nothing and dissapeared into a cloud of blue mist. Shortly after that, Zios died from a phantom attack. After that, Miras was sad. She wouldn't eat nor would she sleep. She returned to the pond where the fish granted her wish. She wanted to change it, but all she saw was a small buck. She had to get close to the buck when she saw some berries on a bush, but the buck wouldn't leave. All of a sudden, dark, black clouds covered the sky and lightning shot across the sky. Mira flew to the pond to catch a fish before the storm got closer, but the pond turned into a whirlpool. As the water swirled, Mira thought she was helpless when the little buck stamped his foot, and Mira was transported immediatly to the berry bush. It seemed like nothing had happened. Of course, the storm was caused by the phantoms, and they got incredibly angry at the buck. The phantoms chased the buck out of Jamaa, and it was never seen again. But the phantoms were. If only the buck wasn't chased out of sight, Jamaa would be at peace today. Many times, the shamans have dreamed of the little deer coming home to Jamaa, and years after that, it was named "Peazing", peace and amazing together.

  51. I think that deer is a symbol that the Alphas use to represent either freedom or peace. When I think of deer I usually think of freedom and peace. They just leave that impression. I think of freedom because they are usually seen running. Running through the woods. Running towards something. Running away from something. They're always running, and usually they're running without care or worry. They're running. I think of peace because these sweet animals wouldn't hurt a fly. When something threatens them I can just imagine then saying to themselves, "Couldn't we work this out? I know there's a way we can get ourselves to look past this." Deer are just naturally peaceful animals. That's why I like them so much.
But anyways, that's what I think the Alphas use this deer for. Its symbolizes freedom and peace. For instance when Graham is speaking of this deer, I can just imagine him talking to all who listen about never ending freedom and out of this world peace. And the deer engraved into the wall of the Canyons Pathway could be a message to whoever enters saying "This place is somewhere you can be free and feel safe. This is a place of peace, and nothing will ever harm you here."

  52. One short day as Zios and Mira were enjoying there love. There came a moose leading the phantoms toward Jamaa. Mira and Zios were very scared and brave at the same time. But, they thought "Is the deer afraid of the phantoms?" They were very confused and kept thinking. As the moose kept running and running. The Alpha's appeared destorying the phantoms. When it was finally over. The moose ran away before they could talk to the moose. Even though Zios and Mira never met the moose they remember him and always has. And that is why there is a drawing of a deer in Coral Canyons and Mt. Shiveer.

  53. Hey Snowy! Pawesome blog! It's pretty cool! I love the rare monday today :) anyways, here's my story

Long long ago, Monkey Shaman, Graham, created a secret hideout, for all peaceful souls of Jamaa. A sacred place, one where phantoms and other unworthy souls couldn't reach. This place is canyons pathway. As you know, it's not on the map. This is why Graham came there every day, to meditate to himself. One day, he was afraid. He had heard that Mira had been captured by phantoms. He gathered the chosen animals of Jamaa, Peck, Sir Gilbert, Cosmo, Harper, Greely, and Liza of course. But soon, came a deer. Graham, afraid and not wanting anyone to interrupt his discussion on what to do when the phantoms attack, scolded the deer. "Be gone! Can't you see I'm trying to save Jamaa! Great! We're off schedule! Now how are we going to save Jamaa?! We're doomed! If only Zios was still here..." the poor deer's eyes watered. He just wanted to help. Peck, the bunny shaman felt a strange feeling of warmness when she sensed the deer come in. "Graham... I think the deer--" said Peck until Graham spoke. "Enough about the deer I say! Jamaa is in danger! That is all we can focus on at this time!" The deer sat by them in an area where he couldn't be seen. Soon, a big black hole exploded in front of them spewing out liquid shadows and electricity everywhere. The phantoms had gotten in. "Shamans! Get into position!" Said Graham as he leaped onto a phantom to strike. The deer watched in terror. "What must I do?!" the deer said to himself. Suddenly he felt a strong urge to attack the liquid shadow and electricity. Just as he was about run towards them, he heard a voice. "Deer, you must be careful. Don't do this. Its too risky. The only way to stop the phantoms from permanantly freezing Mira is to complete a living sacrifice. Let the shamans take care of it. Please, I beg you." The deer recognized the voice perfectly. "I can't let you stop me, Zios. Not this time." He ran as fast as his little hooves could take him. He leaped up to the largest phantom and kicked him as hard as he could. "YOU CANNOT SUCCEED. YOU NEVER WILL! WE'RE STRONGER, SMARTER, BIGGER, AND MORE POWERFUL! YOU'RE A WEAKLING! WHY DO YOU THINK THE SHAMANS REJECTED YOU?!" screamed a phantom. He looked back at the shamans, they were struggling. They couldn't do it alone. Peck saw the deer, "Deer! Only YOU can save us! Please! I know you can do it." Those words gave the deer a huge burst of confidence and fought the phantoms to release the shamans. But they were severly injured. He had to do it, he would have to be the one to be sacrificed. "The only way to stop them is to sacrifice someone. Goodbye, Shamans. I hope to see you when you vanquish the phantoms. Remember, don't let me go." He sprang into the mouth of a phantom to have himself sacrificed. But instead of the shadows tearing apart, a large blue spark sprang out. Mira! She was back! With Deer! "Thank you, deer. You saved me." The deer smiled with pride. "No Mother Sky. Thank YOU." He said as he ran away into the unexplored lands. Now, Graham tells the story of when even they weren't capable of saving Mira, until a small deer who they found unworthy saved her.

  55. This my story Snowyclaw.

The story of this weeks mystery is of deer-moose like animal being told by Graham and being on the wall of Canyon Pathway. This is how it started. The deer was one of the Alphas. He was the first Alpha found in Jamaa. So he was like the king or the person incharge of the other Alphas. Then, the phantoms invaded Jamaa. So, half of the Alphas stayed and the other half went to fight the brutal phantoms. The deer, whose name was Henry the II, was in the Canyon Pathways fighting against the "King of the Phantoms." Canyon Pathways may only be just a pathway. But back then, it was really secret and dark, only Sir Gilbert, Graham, Henry the II and the phantoms knew about the pathway. It was really dark and then Henry fell into one of the phantoms trap. The phantoms were going to boil Henry. Then Graham and Sir Gilbert came and fought the phantoms. But Graham wasn't used to fighting with a HUMONGOUS sword. So he accidently chopped one of the phantoms legs. The phantoms fell backwards and cut the rope loose. Sadly Henry fell into the really hot water. Then Graham and Sir Gilbert fought the phantoms with all their anger. After the phantoms fled, they buried the pot Henry was in and left a mark on the wall in the Canyon Pathways since that was where is was buried. Every other Alphas will never forget the first Alpha in Jamaa. The Alphas would tell about Henry's courageousness to every other animals in Jamaa and that's the story of Henry the II.

  56. As the sun glimmered on Mira's colorful slick feathers, she walked along the sandy beach of Jamma. Mira was to caught up in her own thoughts that she didn't hear a beautiful speckled deer creep up behind her. "Hello Mira." exclaimed the young deer.
Mira flung around to face the deer. She questioned, "How do you know my name? What is your business here?" The deer gazed at her and said calmly,"my name is Kallik and I'm no threat to you."

  57. Long ago, there was a young deer named Maple. One beautiful morning she was out for a walk in Sarepia Forest, when suddenly she heard rustling in an elm tree behind her. She spun around to see a strange monkey, with interesting goggles, and a key on his tail. "Hello, Maple." He said. "My name is Graham, I am the Monkey Alpha."
"H-how do you know my name?" Maple said, her voice quivering. She was very shy and scared. "I have chosen you to do a special duty, Maple." Graham explained. "A group of troublesome Phantoms have appeard. They are terrorizing Jamaa. I need your help to lead them away, to a far away land."
Maple's eyes widened with surprise. "Why would I be chosen for something like that?" She asked, confused. "I'm not tough. I'm shy and scared." She said, lowering her head.
"You do not have to be tough or strong, Maple." Graham said. "You are fast as wind. You need to run, and take the phantoms away from the innocent animals of Jamaa. You need to be the Runner of Wind."
Maple was afraid, but she didn't want to disappoint Graham. She knew she had to do this for him, for the animals, for Mira, for Jamaa. "Okay. I will do it." She said confidently. "Where are these troublesome phantoms?" She then asked. "They were last seen in Coral Canyons. Go, you can do it, Maple." Graham replied. Maple nodded. "I will do by best. Farewell, Graham." She said and dashed off to Coral Canyons. When she got there she looked around. She couldn't see any. Then all of a sudden. She saw dark clouds appearing from behind a cliff. Maple cautiously peered behind it, and saw five phantoms. They were dividing up a bag of gems. Maple thought they had stolen it from an animal. "Now I have to lead them out of Jamaa..." She thought. "HEY YOU LITTLE THIVES! I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU! COME AND GET ME!" She bolted away and looked behind her. So far her plan was working, they were following her! She ran swiftly through Canyons Pathway, the phantoms trying to catch her. She had to think quick. If she slowed down they would surely catch her! An idea formed in her head as she raced into the Lost Temple of Zios. She scrambled up the tunnel that the river flows through. Praying to Mira it would lead somewhere. She emerged in an empty place, she had never seen before. It was a wasteland of stone. As she ran toward a cave she thought she could maybe trap the phantoms pursuing her in, she tripped over a stone that was sticking our of the ground, and she fell. There was only one word in her mine then: No! She hit the ground hard. Pain seeping into her body as the phantoms circled around her dizzying her. "Mira help me!" Maple the brave young deer prayed despratley. Just as the largest of the phantoms was about to shock her with powerful dark energy. A light appeard above them. Maple gazed up in awe, it was Mira! "Leave Maple alone, Phantoms." Mira boomed. "Go to the cave and stay there. Never bother Jamaa again or you will pay with your lives." The phantoms scurried into the cave, terrified. As soon as they were inside, Mira sealed them there with a wall of light. Maple stood up and bowed to Mira, Mother Sky. "Thank you for saving me, Mira." She said, shyly. "There is no need to thank me, brave Maple. Thank you so very much for leading those troublesome phantoms out of Jamaa. You were very brave to take on such a large task that you were afraid of. You will forever be known as Maple the Runner of Wind. You are a Legend of Jamaa." And she is. Graham has told the Legend of Maple the Wind Runner to Jamaa's animals. And she will be forever, an amazing part of Jamaa's history.

I hope ya like it Snowy! :D It was very fun to write. :3

  58. Ok! I have a story and I haven't been on an animaljam blog in a while, so bear with me!

There was an old moose, very mysterious, no one knew the name. The old moose decided to stay in the shadows, keep his life a secret.

Once it was a nice sunny day, but dark black clouds were moving in. All of a sudden there was a loud noise that sounded like angry buzzing, PHANTOMS! The old moose heard the noise and decided to investigate. Before he left, he made sure he got his dark cloak on, so no one would reconize him. His ear twitched and his head echoed with pain from the horrible buzzing noise.
The old moose headed into the meadow where he saw a mysterious purple mist. Hundreds of phantoms hid behind tall stocks of grass. "Phantoms, of course" the old moose whispered as he walked through the grass actracting phantoms to follow behind him. It started to snow and the old moose was now galloping through the meadow, almost every Phantom behind him. The old moose lead the Phantoms out of animal jam, but yet they still return.

Now Graham continues to tell the story about the old mysterious moose. ~Iamcool06
P.S. I hope you like my story snowyclaw! I am still a big fan!

  59. part 2

Mira chose to trust Kallik and told her to follow her. Kallik looked like she was wondering if she should but then nodded her head and they took of. Mira noticed that Kallik had speed and was almost faster then herself! Kallik's speckled fur sparkled in the fire like sun. They finally arrived at their destination. A clearing where all the alphas lived and trained. Kallik looked shy and stuck right next to Mira. Peck walked up to Mira and greeted her. Kallik asked, "What's the bunny's name?"
Peck said, "Hello I'm Peck it's nice to see you!" Kallik nodded a greeting. Mira said, "This is the camp wear all the alphas train." Peck asked Mira, "Speaking of training maybe Kallik can be a alpha." Mira thought about then nodded.

  61. part 3

Peck took Kallik out to train. Peck showed Kallik how to swiftly sneak up on a phantom without it hearing you. Peck realized that Mira was watching and she stopped but Mira said, "please, continue." Peck then showed Kallik how to use a sword. Mira said, "That's enough training for today" So they headed back to camp. Then an alpha screamed, "The phantoms are attacking!" Kallik rushed of to get a good look at them but Mira spread her wings and took to the sky. Mira screeched, "Get ready for battle!"

  62. part 4

Mira swooped down to attack a nearby phantom when she looked over to see Kallik take out a line of phantoms. Just when Mira thought they were winning she say the King Phantom come into eyesight. Just when Mira was going to swoop in and attack the phantom she saw Kallik rush toward the King Phantom. "NO!!!" screeched Mira. Kallik attacked the King Phantom then dodged away as it slammed a huge leg on the ground. Kallik used her speed to beat the phantom. The King Phantom chased Kallik near a pond. Kallik leaped over it but the King Phantom fell in it and drowned. Kallik went back into camp and fell down so that it just looked like a heap of fur. Just then a phantom attacked her and killed her. Mira lunged at the phantom but it took off. Mira slowly turned and carved a deer in the rock. She whispered, "I'm so sorry Kallik I will avenge you. I promise."

  63. Quietly, Pride lifted his head to gaze at the sunrise over the cold mountain top. The herd had to flee soon, for the first specks of inky darkness had appeared along with the new sun over the horizon. "Phantoms," the strange black and white furred visitor animal had called them. Even though Pride did not know what that meant, he felt the evil inside them clear like the purest ice.

Beside him, the others began to stir. It was almost time. Pride would lead them down the mountain, quick as possible. There would be no going back. It was devastating for many of the elders, for they had lived their entire life up here on the harsh peaks. Pride would have to be confident that he could do the job. If anything arose, the herd would look towards him to manage everything and keep them safe. It was risky, but he was not going to exchange the lives of the herd for his own.

They started, slowly at first down the steep descent, then began to gather speed. In around thirty hoof-beats, they were in a steady gallop. The thunder of hooves pounded in the air, like the heartbeat of the herd. Pride felt his own heart pounding along, quickening to match the pace of the thundering. He lifted his head and sped up, swinging his head to gesture with his antlers the direction to switch to.

    1. The pounding of hooves increased and grew louder and more uneven as the herd reached an uneven path. Pride slowed, to a gradual canter. He fixed his eyes on their goal, the steamy refuge of the hot spring. It was no use, the phantoms would reach them before they reached the goal. He bellowed to the herd to go on without him, and turned around, running for the phantoms.

The herd moved like a blizzard across the flat icy plains, towards the hot spring. Pride watched them out of the corner of his eye as he slowed to a stop before the approaching line of phantoms. He snorted and glared.

"I will not let you go any further!"

His words rang clear in the air. The phantom's single eyes studied him, narrowing. They knew he wanted a fight. Pride squared his shoulders and readied himself to charge forward.

The phantoms attacked. Wave after wave of agony struck Pride, and he yelled with pain. But he would not let his herd down, even if it meant sacrificing himself.

      Delete
    2. Pride bucked and reared, bringing his hooves down upon unfortunate phantoms, and impaling other phantoms with his antlers. They dissolved with a soft sound, like brittle soil falling on thin ice. He could feel cuts on his shoulders streaming a steady flow of blood, but it was nothing to think about now. Think about the herd's safety, he thought. They depend on me. They depend on me to keep them safe. If I die here, they'll reach the hot spring and destroy them all. I can't let that happen!

He felt new strength surge in his limbs and bellowed, his eyes flaring to reveal a right of white around each iris. His pupils expanded, swallowing the irises slowly. The phantoms drew back in fear. They had already seen what had happened to the unfortunate who tried to attack first.

Pride charged, and felt shock after shock of energy from the phantom's merciless attacks. He began to stumble, and slowly toppled to a fall. There was no hope left. He was dying.

A bright light suddenly seared through the air and the entire line of phantoms disintegrated. A beautiful grey bird and a strange animal he had never seen before appeared in front of him, standing against the phantoms. Pride's eyes began to close, probably for the last time, he thought. But he heard the most melodious voice, one that drew him back.

"You had much loyalty in you. One like you could have made an excellent guardian of Jamaa. But it is time for you to continue on the the next world. It is unfortunate that, at the same time that I rescued this young and bright monkey, that I lost the chance to also recruit such a loyal and powerful animal like you."

The grey bird placed her beak on Pride's forehead, and he sighed. "Will the herd be safe?"

The grey bird nodded. "Truly, you are a noble one. I ensure you your herd will be safe, for I will watch over them, and your name will be remembered and honored all over my land, for I shall ask Graham here-" the young monkey nodded, with a respectful expression towards Pride, "- to ensure that you earn the proper respect. We will tell your tale far and wide, and make sure you earn your proper place in the world you are departing. For your name truly speaks truth about you."

Pride nodded, even though it was a painful task. "Then I leave the herd to you. Even if no stories are told about me and no bones are carved to my honor, I shall still be happy for my herd is safe."

Thus ended the tale of the noble herd leader, Pride, who had the brightest path ahead of him, but chose to brighten the path for his entire herd instead. Truly, no Jamaasian has ever seen one more noble and commanding as this young leader.

  64. Greely growled at their misfortune as the alphas ran across the plain. They had been recently losing with fights to drive the phantoms out of Jamaa, and they all bore their horrendous stings. He didn't like reporting defeat, and it certainly wouldn't be good for the animals of Jamaa.

Later that day, in the evening, the alphas gathered around a fire, to speak before turning in for the night. Greely led the conversation. "The phantoms have been becoming harder and harder to drive out of Jamaa. What should we do different?"
Sir Gilbert was first to speak up. "Perhaps we should try harder?"
Liza corrected him. "We have been all trying our hardest. Maybe it is time that we should get more help."
Cosmo nodded along, and so did the rest of the alphas. But Peck wondered out loud. "Who should we summon?"

Mira stepped forth, near to the fire. Her voice silenced the discussion. "I will summon the help." Her blue eyes glowed, and the fire leaped into the air. A fiery deer leaped from the flames. It had a magnificent crest of fiery horns on its head, and flames leaped around its coat. He looked around at the alphas, then to Mira.
"I will serve you." It dipped its noble head deeply.

The next day, the alphas were heading back to drive the phantoms out. Today, they brought the fiery deer with them, and him hid out of the way. These were the last phantoms that threatened Jamaa.

Once it was time, the deer leaped from the shadows, blazing the phantoms, and they raced away from the deer. But it wasn't soon before they returned to investigate, and destroy the deer.

The deer bounded along, away from Jamaa and the alphas. To their surprise, the phantoms continued to follow the deer, as he lead them on a long pursuit, leading them out of Jamaa. The alphas waited for three long days for the deer to return, but he did not show up, nor did the phantoms. The phantoms were gone forever, along with the magnificent deer of fire.

In the deer's honor, the alphas continued to tell his tale to Jamaasians, and he was treasured throughout Jamaa for generations. Peck wanted him to be known even after she and the alphas were gone, so she painted him in a secluded and beautiful part of Jamaa; Canyons Pathway. And to this day, the deer is still honored by all of Jamaa.

  65. Long ago, when Mira and Zios ruled peacfully over Jamaa, and all was well with our world, Graham came to Jamaa. But right after he came, hope bubbling with the opportunity of this new life, the phantoms came, born of Mira's tears and rage.

The great Battle of the Phantoms started, with the animals getting dragged backwards down the path of victory. Graham himself fought, using all the weapons known to Jamaa today, perhaps even ones not known.
But some of the phantoms seemed different. More than one of them had begged forgiveness for their dark deeds and promised never to do anything like them again. Graham always let them go, interested and curious to see if they would keep their promise or abuse it.

One night when he was sleeping, he woke up suddenly from a deep and vivid dream. He had imagined the phantoms whom he had let go surrounding him. All of a sudden, before his eyes, they turned into a strange animal, like a wolf, but with antlers.

Awake, he knew what he had to do. He gathered the phantoms he had let go and brought them to the place we know today as Canyons Pathway. He performed an ancient ceremony. "Phantoms of whom have done dark deeds, but have been given mercy, stand before me today. Feel the likeness of these ancient creatures flow through you, and feel your bodies change to the like-wise form." He walked to the moountain wall and picked up a sharp stone. He carved the shape of an animal in the wall, then turned to face them. "And now, you are the Ancient Moose!"

He watched as the phantoms became surrounded with black mist, with much electricity and black smoke. Finally, the mist cleared, and with it the phantoms were gone. In their place were big tall brown moose with large antlers on their heads. And from that day on, moose were known to roam Jamaa.

Now, you no longer see these moose anymore because they became extinct in Jamaa. Another phantoms battle arised and the phantoms had power over their ex-kin.

But you can still see little things that show they were here. Certain jammers still bear rememberence to these wise creatures. And in that way, the moose lives on, in them, in ourselves. In you. For the moose has never really left Jamaa, in the spirit of fun, of rememberence, and in the spirit of realizing your mistakes and asking for forgiveness. That's what these wonderful creatures stand for. But is the moose reflected in you? Are you the moose?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Once the phanthoms appeared in Jamaa for the very first time, no animal could get rid of them. They all tried, but they all failed. One day, a new animal came to Jamaa. This animal had looked like it could deffently help get rid of the phanthoms in Jamaa. The phanthoms and the animal got rid of most of the phnathnoms. But one remained. That one phanthom chases the moose far, far away from Jamaa and the animal was never seen again. That moose made Jamaa history and all the animals will never forget that one moose that helped Jamaa forever.

  70. I think the moose/elk drawings are either an animal that will eventually become an animal or like cave drawings, where Native Americans would write and draw on cave walls. Maybe it's just a drawing of a food source, such as the animals, or maybe the moose/ elk played an important role in something. I'd go further into detail, but I'm supposed to be doing my homework... :3

  76. This is the story of Graham's story.

Graham: Once upon a time, there was a deer shamen named antler, that very few jammers know. That deer wasn't just any shamen, he was a Legendary shamen! This shamen has magical powers to defeat the evil!, but one day while he was protecting jamaa, he was sent to see mira. Mira wasn't very happy when he came. Mira said, "Antler, i'm very proud of your work, but you need to use those powers for something else like finding lands and places!" Antler said, "But....i only want to protect jamaa, the other shamens can do that." Mira said, "But those powers are legendary that only you can have! you have to use it for something else." Antler said, "BUT I DON'T WANT TO I WANT TO PROTECT JAMAA!".

Mira went away in an instant. Antler was very mad and decided to leave jamaa. The jammers were trying to get him back, but it was too late....he packed up his things and left jamaa.

From that day on he turned evil and more evil until he used his powers on jamaa. He sent the phantoms to rule jamaa for him, his most evil plan of all, to be the king of jamaa! The shamens were fighting as much as they can! but, sadly, they were defeated. Antler, "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!". all of a sudden, Mira appeared! and she went up to Antler and said, "Antler, you are banned from your powers for good! and you will be gone once the phantoms are defeated, and you'll live your life as a jammer from now on." Mira used her magic and Antlers powers were gone. Antler said, "NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!" He was gone the next min. He was born a few days later as a jammer, and no one knew him again.

Graham: wasn't that a fun story to hear huh?
    Jammers: YEAH!!!!!!!!

    THE END ^-^

  78. How a Moose Saved Jamaa
Spark, a moose from the North, had once saved Graham's life, and they were best friends. But this friendship was not to last. The Phantoms had been attacking more and more often, but Spark had been driving them back. He had been hunting them since they had killed his sister, Aria.
One night, the Phantoms attacked. Graham was captured, and the fighting came to a standstill. No one wanted Graham to die, but they knew if they lost this battle, Jamaa would be destroyed forever. Spark came up with a plan. If Sir Gilbert and Greely attacked from the sides, he could sneak in and rescue Graham. The plan worked well, and Graham was rescued. As he and Spark were escaping, he took a bolt of dark lightning in his side. He fell to the ground.
"N-O-O-O-O!!!" Spark shouted, and came to the rescue of his friend. He clanged his feet together, driving back the Phantoms with sparks from his feet. Graham, however, was dying.
"Go!" he yelled to Spark, hoping he could save his friend. Spark however, did not agree.
"First they murdered my sister as she fought to protect my life, next they destroyed my home, and now they try to kill my best friend! I will not stand for this, NO I WILL NOT!!!" With a ferocious cry, he launched himself at the commander of the Phantoms. He struck his hooves together, creating a spark. And with that spark, he used all of his life force. The Phantom imploded upon itself with a flash of light brighter than the sun, but Spark was dead.
When Graham awoke, the battlefield was filled with animals trying to get up and stagger away. He ran to Spark, but his friend was gone. Graham asked Peck to help him prepare a memorial for Spark, and they did so, but after many seasons, it eroded until all that was left was one small painting. Now the memorial is a pathway, but the carving is still there. If you look carefully, you may find Graham's last tribute to his friend, his buddy, and the animal that saved Jamaa.
Spark, however, was born again, his spirit though old and frozen from his life in the North, is embodied in a Jamaasian.

  79. a stag leapt out of the brush, closely followed by a phantom '' over here, Lord King! '' said the stag. soon after, Graham, the monkey alpha came lumbering after them. '' come back with my tools! '' graham shouted and sped up. the tools he talked of where the tools of jamaa, a statue of Mira and a blanket. he was testing to see what the tools did to each other. now, the stag, who's name was Glohmah, was eating grass when the phantom king came. the phantom threatened Glohmah and eventually got what he wanted : the way out. but Glohmah was smart. once the phantom king was free he turned on Graham. being exhausted, Graham couldn't make a tool to help banish the phantom, so, Glohmah charged toward the king, uprooting trees and plants in the process. the phantom king let out a huge force of dark energy and the stag lay limp by a tree, almost dead. with his last bit of energy, Glohmah sent forth a spark into the statue of Mia, making it alive. the phantom king fled, thinking Mira was there, and when Graham turned to look at Glohmah, he was dead. Graham enshrined Glohmah beneath the earth in a temple of his in thanks, and he has never forgoten that story.

  80. In the past, Mira needed much help to protect jamma from phantoms and other evil creatures that threatened the wellbeing of jamma and its animals. After many days of looking and looking. She found a lone elk drinking water from the lake. "Hello lone elk. I am Mira, and I've been searching for a loyal and brave animal to help rid Jamma of the nasty phantoms." The elk turned his head and began to speak "I see... Well great Mira I would be willing to help you with no fee in return!" The elk dipped his head and spoke once more "I am Talu, from the north. I have journeyed down east to explore the strange animals and plants that inhabit this coast." Mira nodded respectfully and said "Jamma was a wonderful paradise..." "Was?" Said Talu stepping forward to listen to the beautiful birds words. "Phantoms have been destroying everything... dens, stores even the plants... Worst part is, they do not talk so we don't know what they want.." The elk nodded and spoke "I see..." Mira nodded grimly and stretched her wings "Lets get a move on, I'll fly low so you can see where I'm going." Soon the two majestic animals went to Jamma. Soon when they arrived Talu looked around and spoke "This place is a mess... Like a tornado struck threw..." Mira nodded slowly and said nothing. Talu soon walked threw and saw all the animals hide in terror. Talu looked around and saw a phantom near him. It didn't seem to hurt Talu. Talu realized the phantoms were curious about elk so the phantoms fallowed Talu around. Soon Mira got an idea. She spoke to Talu "You shall lead the phantoms out of Jamma and down into the valley where shall never return. You shall come back without them realizing and you will be an unforgotten hero to Jamma! Talu nodded and 3 days after the plan was discussed he galloped around Jamma collecting all the phantoms. Soon after all the animals cheered watching him lead the phantoms away and into the valley. Soon after Mira told Gram a monkey shaman to tell stories of Talu's heroism. Soon, Gram told every child about Talu with a smoke spell. Like a picture book but the pictures appear in smoke. After weeks Mira began to worry. It only takes 3 days to get the valley and back. Soon she flew high above the valley and searched for Talu. Sadly, he was never seen or heard from again... Now, every Jamma child paints pictures on the stone walls around Jamma in hopes Talu will see them and return to Jamma once again... The end! ^^ I hope you liked it please tell me what you thought of it!

  82. I think the smoke pictures look a little like Snowyclaw, so it might be a prophecy of Snowyclaw battling/leading phantoms away from Jamaa! Earlier, snowyclaw posted about little sticks with gems tied to the ends, and we had to come up with what they were for, and when, etc... the 'deer' might have to use one of those to lead the phantoms away from Jamaa and trap them!

By the way, Person above who came up with the Talu story,
    AWEOSME!
