Hey jammers! Apologies for the late post once more. Sleep seems to be a habit of mine. ^-^ Anywho, I was taking proven, my little sis, to her dance class, so I requested a few jammers to fill in the blanks...
Also, be sure to comment what you think of the new navigation bar (seen at the top of the blog). Does the format work with your screen?
" Shutter shades: A cool pair of shutter shades to
look great at Jamaa's summer parties ^.^ " - 5yoyo5
" And at Jam Mart Clothing, on the ninth page, is a very beautiful RIM of an item we all know and love, the Shutter Shades! They come in nice shades of blue and purple, which are perfect for chillaxing at parties with your buddies! " - Gemmarocks112
" Octupus plushie: The cute octupus plushie has arrived,
bound to be followed by it's larger twin..." - 5yoyo5
" Meanwhile over at the Summer Carnival - remember, that's on your parties list or on the banners around Jamaa - is the new Octopus Plushie, which comes in eight-ish colours, and is bound to be joined by the larger version later on. Buy it while you can!" - Gemmarocks112
" DE RIM: This is a very nice summer outfit
on the DE to make from the RIM! " - 5yoyo5
Personally I think he's a pretty cool cat... -snowyclaw |
" Over at the Daily Explorer there's a lovely new feature about today's RIM. Remember to check it out! " - Gemmarocks112
" And there is a new diamond challenge presented by Liza offering 5 jammers 5 diamonds as the prize. Will you be the lucky winner? Head on over to the DE to find out. " - Gemmarocks112
" Last day to get your Old Scuba Helmet!
Get it quickly before it swims away! "
Get it quickly before it swims away! "
" At Bahari Bargains it's your last day to purchase the old Scuba Helmet, so buy it before you miss it, people. This would look great in a scuba outfit along with some other items! " - Gemmarocks112
And today's Mystery Monday theme is this. Why are there crumbled arches surrounding Mira, the guardian spirit of Jamaa? Are these ancient remnants of Jamaa's golden age? What was this mysterious period of time called? What was the culture like? What brought about it's decline? I'd love to know what you guys think on the subject.
Happy jamming!

First comment! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, I think you were first xD
ReplyDeleteHey guys, 2nd comment :)
ReplyDeleteWas not expecting another post today!
ReplyDeleteCongratties
ReplyDeleteOr third!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, but "it's" is incorrect grammar, because for the possessive you don't need an apostrophe. so it's "ITS" not "IT'S" when it belongs to somebody.
ReplyDeleteEntering the contest, here is my opinion:
ReplyDeleteShutter Shades: "And at Jam Mart Clothing, on the ___th page, is a very beautiful RIM of an item we all know and love, the Shutter Shades! They come in nice shades of blue and purple, which are perfect for chillaxing at parties with your buddies!"
Octopus Plushie: "Meanwhile over at the Summer Carnival - remember, that's on your parties list or on the banners around Jamaa - is the new Octopus Plushie, which comes in ____ colours, and is bound to be joined by the larger version later on. Buy it while you can!"

Diamond Challenge: "And there is a new diamond challenge presented by Liza offering you __ diamonds as the prize. Will you be the lucky winner? Head on over to the DE to find out."
Scuba Diving Helmet: "At Bahari Bargains it's your last day to purchase the old Scuba Helmet, so buy it before you miss it, people. This would look great in a scuba outfit along with some other items!"
WHAT IS THE LAST THING XD
Hey 5yoyo5, I quoted you in my comment, hope you don't mind, I quoted the bit about the larger version of the octopus plushie coming, if you take it as copying then I can easily remove it, just say please, but nobody hate me, kk, I am just saying I love that part very much to copy it. xx
ReplyDeletenice post again (:
ReplyDeleteAh, another lovely post. I love the new summer-styled shades today, and the octopus plushie will go great in my beach house den. You know, I have always delighted in spending time by Mira's statue; it is almost like her own temple, even though it is not as vast as Zios' temple. So much has been lost over time that these monuments may soon just be a bird statue taking up some space up in Jamaa Township and some sort of mask thing in the swamp south of Serepia Forest to some Jammers who do not know much of the ancient lore. Oh, what it must have been like back in the days when these monuments were surrounded by cheerful Jammers...
ReplyDeleteNice post, you two! Great information! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd oh my gawd, dat tiger so swaggy <3
ReplyDeleteMust. Fan. Girl.
WHOA, SO MUCH STUFF!

And 8th comment :3
ReplyDeleteAmazing post @Gemmarocks112 is Love, is Life and @5yoyo5. One of the most interesting post I've seen in ages!
ReplyDeleteOh Snowy, I envy your sleeping skills..
ReplyDeleteFor Mystery Monday: After looking at the archways for a quite some time, I thought that perhaps they were placed there as a method of protecting Jamaa. Not physically, since they look a little too weak to hold off Phantoms (and there is also the fact that Phantoms could simply fly through them). No, I think that there is - or at least was - some sort of enchantment placed upon them, perhaps by Mira herself. A deep magic that served as protection for the city of Jamaa against the Phantom invasion. These were dangerous times, so the Jamaasians had to resort to a method of protection stronger than any walls or other defensive structures - magic. Of course, they didn't hold the Phantoms off in the end, so that might be why the archways are now in ruins.
Or, maybe Mira selected them because she thought they'd be nice decor to accompany her statue - they do look beautiful. You never know..
I know, right? Defenition of swag right there
ReplyDeleteFor the Monday Mystery-
ReplyDeleteI think the broken arches have something to do with the disappearance of Mira and history. Perhaps there was a big battle, and phantoms were being thrown to the arches as Mira fought them. But somehow, the phantoms won, and Mira magically formed into a statue as she got defeated by the phantoms. And to this day on, jammers danced to the statue
Like on Play Wild Beta, when jammers dance around the Mira statue, Mira comes alive and dances with them, but stops when the jammers do. The dancing is to show she was succeeding in her fight, and when the jammers stop dancing, it's to show she has failed.
All It needs is a little more colour and it would be the king of Swag AND Epicness

ReplyDeleteIt just so happens I wrote a story on this a while back. Here it is:
ReplyDelete“But I love you Mira.”
A strong, muscular lion with a mane that shone as brightly as gold stood in front of a gate outside a long winding road that led up to a tall, gray castle, silhouetted in the darkness of the morning fog. Opposite him stood a grey heron, her feathers a sky-blue and forest-green color, her beak glinting in the morning sun.
“You are a fool, Nugavi,”replied the heron in a cold, hard voice, fixing him with a glare that pierced his heart. “Did you really think that I would forgive you so easily? And Zios offered me more than you ever could. You are not worthy of me.”
Nugavi tried to meet her gaze steadily. How could she be so cruel. Suddenly he wilted under her gaze. “But Mira-“
“You’ve had my word, Nugavi. Goodbye, and hopefully for good.” She turned around and marched through the gate, up the winding path, and into the castle. She was so far away now. Nugavi crumbled to the ground.
“Noooooooo!”
Nugavi awoke with a start. His mane was tangled and knotted with leaves and twigs. His fur was no longer golden but a dirty brown. His coat smelled slightly of the damp leaves he was lying upon.
Nugavi growled softly. Mira would pay for what she had done! Every night, he was forced to relieve the memory of his most painful moment. She has to be stopped, he thought. I can’t go on like this.
Nugavi paused. How could he be so stupid? Mira was gone! Only her statue was left, and her spirit.
Nugavi pondered this. There must be some way for him to detach
himself from Mira, to show he was not a supporter. He couldn’t do it openly, he knew, but he would make Mira suffer as much as she made him. A plan formed in his mind. It would have to be done at night.
Nugavi crept soundlessly out of his “nest”, which was really a pile of dirty leaves and twigs. He hadn’t enough gems for a den. Silently thanking himself that his coat was so dirty, he crept into the Township and up the path to Mira’s Temple.
Stepping inside it, Nugavi felt awe creep up his spine. He had never been into the Temple, forcing himself to cut off all connections with Mira. Anger replaced his awe. Why would someone waste something so beautiful, on someone so cruel?
Squaring up his hindquarters, Nugavi pounced up towards the ceiling and ripped the feathers off. He was weak with grief, but his anger brought back his old strength. He had been astonishingly strong before he had let himself fall apart, able to rip buildings down if he wanted to.
First, Nugavi unsheathed his claws and tore at the curtains until they fell into the river just west of the Township. Then he picked all the
crystals out and tossed them into the bushes (these bushes later bred and became the bushes you see in the Diamond Shop). Finally, he summoned all his strength and slammed himself into the walls.
He knew that was a mistake a fraction of a second after.
The wall started to crumble and soon, it fell, an avalanche of cement. Nugavi felt himself being thrown to the ground and weighed down by the stone. He looked up and found himself at the foot of Mira’s statue. This was his chance. He raised his paws to strike and...stopped. Looking at the statue, he knew he could never destroy it. This was his chance, but not to make Mira pay. It was his final chance to make peace. He lowered his paw back to the ground and let go, let go of that branch he was clinging to for life, stopped struggling against what was meant to be. Sighing he closed his eyes, and could have sworn he heard a whisper. Thank you, it seemed to say. And an instant later,
Nugavi was gone.
For days, his body lay there, undiscovered in the ruin that covered him, until it finally melded into the earth, lost forever.
I think you're second, Unique, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThat was great!
ReplyDeleteYup, you're third, congratulations, Gemma!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Azure!

ReplyDeleteI'm not! You did great, along with Gemma!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm one of them!! :D
ReplyDeleteWho's Gemma, btw?
ReplyDeleteThat would explain why a phantom takes residence when the night of the phantoms comes around...
ReplyDeleteI think that the walls crumbled because, maybe, um... Oh I got and idea! Maybe, as in AJHQ's story, The Return of the Alphas, the phantoms destroyed the arches. They WERE going around causing chaos!
ReplyDeleteim going insane alright im going insane
ReplyDeleteYup, I read Warriors, and it has definitely influenced my writing style XD And yup, Tallstar's my favorite. Thank you so much! I actually started a story blog, but I never continued it. I've been considering opening it up again, so maybe I will!
ReplyDeleteAww, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThose arches are around the statue of Mira in Jamaa central, if you go up the path near Jam Mart Clothes. Most people use it for giveaways. A nice ancient look in my opinion. I am seal93965 by the way. If you have any left over jamaaliday stuff, could anyone gift it to me? I am trying to make a Christmas den.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I never noticed that! :D
ReplyDeleteWATCH IT OnO YOU WILL BE SAD YOU DID

ReplyDeleteI get what ya mean or maybe that but, the arches where trying to be distroyed by the phantoms but the alphas use there power to stop them!!!
ReplyDeleteI have talked to Gemma rocks acctually
ReplyDeleteOh ya that to
ReplyDeleteHey Loki I have waiting to ask are you named after a Greek god or and Egyptian god or a Norse god or a roman god I saw Loki in a book I have in a section with those gods
ReplyDeleteXD. The Loki I am is Loki of Jotunheim (you may be more familiar with his original title, Loki of Asgard [it changes]) from Marvel. He is also known as The God of Evil if you get later in the comic series. He is, however based on the Loki in Norse mythology. Get it? ( btw I'm a girl (TOMBOY), just for future reference, I'm often confused as a boy. [which I take no offense to) )
ReplyDeleteI get it he was the god of evil in mythology and a marvel character wich is
ReplyDelete*continue to other comment* I thought the name was.(I'm a tomboy to a warrior tomboy and regular tomboy lolz)
ReplyDelete(xP, im a weird combination of reg tomboy, sporty tomboy, and "nerd" tomboy (marvel stuff))
ReplyDeleteMystery Monday:
ReplyDeleteThe arches are remains of Mira's old temple. Jammers would go to her temple and ask her for help. The temple was destroyed by the phantoms when they came in full on to attack Jamaa. The whole army came.
The alphas all gathered in the temple and prayed to Mira, "Please, Sky Queen, Help us defeat the phantoms. They are going to destroy your temple, and the statue!" Mira knew if the statue was destroyed or taken, Jamaa as we know it would crumble!
"I will help you." She said. "I will use most of my magic to save you and the rest of Jamaa."
"Mira! If you use all you're magic you'll... disappear!" Liza was worried.
"I will then use the rest of magic to turn me into my spirit form. Me and Zios and I will remain in our spirit forms until Jamaa needs us most. I sense one day you will need us more than this." Mira promised.
"Okay." Graham said.
"Yes, Sky Queen." Greely sighed.
"Me and Liza agree." Cosmo said. Liza nodded with the rest of the alphas.
The phantoms started the attack on the temple. Mira cloaked the statue in a magic shield. The alphas escaped the tower just in time.
Mira turned into her spirit form. She had plenty of Spirit Magic left. Her Life Magic needed a thousand-year recharge.
As the phantoms started to attack The Temple Of Zios, where her old castle stood, she forced them away with her magic.
The phantoms will invade again, but no one knows when.
