Hey jammers! Today's unique item is the Rare Hood With Feather!
Hmm this is a pretty pricy hood ^.^ It's the sort of item that is partially human, and partially AJ Original. Anyway, today's gift is… the waited Bow and Arrow!
Hmm, it's a sad fact that they are the same colors as they were last year >.< However, these colors are easier to match with your outfits, so thats a perk! ^.^ Wait, now that I think about it, both these items are both Robin-Hood-themed! Animal jam must be congratulating how he stood up for the poor animals. Hehe okay, now I'll stop being crazy!
Okie! So, here's the DE post. It seems, that if you buy that funky-looking, turquoise stone, it just might help you with some adventures.
Strange happenings involving the number glitches…I don't think my poor deer would fancy being named #4425 :(
Plus it looks like I lost myself during an adventure….

I want AJHQ to release one adventure where the phantoms steal the Mira statue in Jamaa Township, and as a promotion the statue is actually missing for a while, until a certain number of Jammers complete the adventure. Like 100 Jammers complete it and they get a part of the statue. I should email AJHQ!

DeleteInstead of something like first 100 jammers who complete it get a part of the statue, how about some sort of special prize? Like, after you complete the adventure, you can chose to end the adventure or start a bounus quest, and if you complete it, you can either get a piece of the Mira statue or a diamond Mira statue!

I think it is the most expensive! I don't remember the prices, either, but the top 3 must have been a Fox hat, rare freedom glove, and rare hood with feather. My goodness... expensive items o-o

Thanks to everyone for your support! :) Yes, the author tryouts are REALLY hard. XD I wasn't really all THAT sick, I just got sick last night. Too many preserved foods. My family eats healthier so I didn't feel quite good. I don't have the flu. My Mom, Dad, and I are going to see Frozen this afternoon! My sisters went Ice Skating.

I don't think they want to brag, they probably just need a way to express what they wrote to the world, so they are advertising somewhere popular. It doesn't mean that they want to say "blah blah my blog is more popular than your's," it just means that they want more pageviews.
I don't think it's bad to want people to see your blog, though I don't think you should come to this blog JUST to advertise your own blog... I love looking at other blogs when they ask, but just try make sure you don't do it all the time, otherwise you'll come off as selfish :P

Um...don't the colors very? On my storage account, I had a grey bow and arrow, on the other, green, while my sister got a purple one like the image above...?
ReplyDeleteThey do come in different colors. Cutegirl only posted the color she got in the daily gift today so people would get the concept of what the gift was. I pretty sure some other blogs may feature all of the colors, though.

The stars twinkled, and the moonlight shone down on a cavern surrounded by crystals, glittering in the starlight. Chiseled out of rock was a rough,uneven staircase.
Suddenly, a harsh, unnatural light shone at the bottom of the stairs, and a younger Liza clambered up the staircase. Arriving at the top, she gazed in awe at the crystals sprouting around the cavern. "So this is what they are after," she murmured softly. "And this is where a battle will be fought."
A couple of days ago, Greely had called a meeting of all the alphas. When they had all arrived, he had wasted no time in getting down to business. "I have called you all here today to deliver to you what I have seen in our future. The phantoms have discovered a new source of power so great that they would easily defeat us in battle. I believe that I know where they are, and I am asking Liza to go scout the area. Liza, do you accept?"
Liza nodded. "Yes," she replied.
"Liza, I have seen that this source of power is found near this hut, immediately north. They are found in an ancient cavern, with stone steps chiseled in the rock." Turning back to the waiting alphas, he announced," I believe though, that we will have to fight to keep this power source." Then, he shouted," Meeting dismissed!", than headed for the exit.
"Wait, Greely!" Called Liza, frantically trying to follow him through the crowd.
Halting, Greely turned to face Liza. "What is it?"
"What is this power source? How will I know when I find it?"
Greely just looked at her. "Oh, you'll know," he muttered grimly, before turning around and plunging back into the crowd.
"But-" Liza shook herself. She had a mission!
Now, Liza turned her back on the beautiful crystals, and silently stepped down the staircase.

DeleteThe next day, all of Jamaa was preparing for battle. The phantoms had somehow found out that the alphas were planning to steal to take the crystals, and they had sent a messanger declaring war on them that day. Sir Gilbert prepared a special bow and arrow for every jammer that would vaporize a phantom once they were hit.
Greely had permitted Liza to take a break and not participate, because she had been the one who had found the crystals. After seeing the battle group off, Liza returned to her hut. Lighting some candles, she sat down... and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. Grabbing a bow and arrow, she started to sprint out of the door before thinking twice. Snatching a small vial full of black liquid, she dashed out of the door.
When she arrived at the cavern, she stared in horror at what she saw there. The Phantom King stood, towering over all the jammers and alphas, shocking animals all over and causing them to faint. Though arrows soared through the air, they merely bounced off the Phantom King, and Liza breathed a sigh of relief that she had thought to bring the vial. Dipping an arrow in the vial, she aimed and fired. Time seemed to slow down as the arrow flew through the air, and the everyone, wherever they were in the battle, seemed to stop and stare at the arrow as it progressed through the air. The Phantom King himself gazed in horror as he seemed to recognize the black liquid dripping from the arrow. He tried to dodge, but it was too late. The Phantom King vaporized into nothingness, but Liza knew that he wasn't gone; he would have reappeared somewhere else.
Looking around, Liza spotted Greely padding up to her with a rare look of approval in his eyes. "You did well," he admitted. "But how did you know that the liquid in that vial could destroy the Phantom King? I knew, of course, but I didn't think to bring any."
"Well, I didn't know," admitted Liza. "I just had a feeling."
After the battle, the crystals were taken from their original spot and preserved in a secret room.
Years later, the adventure base camp was built to commemorate the battle. Fake crystals were placed in the cavern in honor of Liza.
I believe that the new adventure will be with Liza. :)

Has anybody noticed that people are starting to get kind of uneducated on what a beta item is? Basically, everyone nowadays just thinks that anything rare is considered a beta. "Omg look at my beta rare bow. Omg look at my beta 2012 banner." It's getting kind of ridiculous. :|
