Hey all you Jams!
How many of you have read the Warriors series by Erin Hunter?
Many of you may have. That's what sparks the ideas of forming clans throughout Jamaa!
Clans aren't a bad thing, usually (this is also called role-playing). The only time that they aren't acceptable is when Jammers are mean or violent to others when they aren't okay with it. Some Jammers are just pretending when they're "fighting" with their clan, which is only okay if it isn't graphic, and when the other Jammers are okay with it.
Some Jammers, however, don't like the idea of clans for the bad reasons. This sparks discussions about the pros and cons of clans in Jamaa.
Pros
You meet new people
Because it's a clan, there will be a big group of Jammers! This will allow you to make new buddies.
Cons
Jammers clog Sarepia when all you want to do is dance by the fire.
They always basically tear each others' hearts out and try to act better than each other
It's hard to keep track of clan members
Sure, it's easy to buddy them, but what if you need a meeting? Someone may be on an adventure, someone might be offline, or someone is missing or no longer your buddy.
I've tried making my own clan, and it never worked out.
It's your choice to make or join a clan. You can do it if you like if you think it'll be fun! That's the main point. Some of these cons may vary; it's only something commonly seen. Whatever you do, make sure it's okay with other clans to "fight" or battle, as long as it isn't very violent!
Clans are meant to be fun roleplaying activites for Jammers. If someone in your clan is bullying you, then ignore them or leave the clan!

Pros
You meet new people
Because it's a clan, there will be a big group of Jammers! This will allow you to make new buddies.
You can make your den look nice
Your den can be turned into a forest! Cosmo's den may be small, but it's a great way to create a nice looking clan forest!
You get to roleplay
Everyone loves pretending, right? I know I do. When you're in a clan, you can pretend to be real warriors in the forest.
It's fun!
This activity is fun to do with your buddies! (Or by yourself...)
Cons

ReplyDeleteAnother con is one you can't really avoid, even if you aren't even in a clan. Usually whenever I'm a deer or a rabbit (or any animal that could be considered prey) in Serapia, I attract swarms of "cats" say stuff like ":bites nn:" or ":kills no dodge:" and it is SO SUPER annoying that I try to avoid having to enter the forest.

When ever I teleport in the forest, in my black eagle, since I like black, these wolves and foxes and snow leopards and even bunnies are like, CATCHES CROW AND RIPS OUT CHEST NO NOTHING! and another was like, BITES NECK OUT WITH JAWS AND PLUCKS ALL FEATHERS OUT AND SHOOTS WITH BOW AND ARROW NN NM NB .

We will be a realistic Clan roleplay named LeafClan. Medicine Cat will collect herbs and all such in zios.(well not in him that would be creepy) lolz anyway. We will have different choice of dens and music. The CLAN chooses lol when i cant decide too. Anyway, we will patrol out borders of zios, but will not disturb jammers with nothing to do withit. Then, if the other clan cats geg vicious when we will ask them to leave, but if it gets too violent we will go to another server. We will have realistic names, mine being Blackstar. Appreices will be told mentors with a realistic ceremony under the rockchair? Lol anyway, plz dress like a warrior and send me a buddy request if you want ro join. I will be me. LOL

Ah clans, the most drama filled insanity you'll ever see. I prefer my own RPGs based on completely different ideals. You'll find RPG much more entertaining when the most commonly word said isn't "Kittypets."
ReplyDeleteProblems with No.5 Am supports the idea of a clan or pack. Notice the letter base called "Join my pack" as well as the ability yp say pack or clan one using restricted chat. As well as bites, claws, etc.
ReplyDeleteSome people are so mean with clans. Like one time my friend and her boyfriend (cutest couple ever even in real life) wanted to go to the sarpeia theatre. When they got to sarpeia, I guess there was some huge battle going on and a tiger, arctic wolf, and a snow leopard all ran up to them and they were like: CLAWS EYES OUT NN!! KICKS FACE AND BREAKS JAW!!! RIPS OUT HEART AND STEPS ON!!! When my friend told me I was like OH. MY. GOD. she reported them for inappropriate behavior and now she's actually SCARED to go to sarpeia!
ReplyDeleteI have a clan also. It's really fun but there are these people who over-power themselves. Oh yeah, I have been forced to kick certain people out of my clan den because they were being inappropriate or playing a bit to violently. But they are actually pretty fun! (Especially if you get your den fun, I got my den to 31 people which is the limit a few times XD)

ReplyDeleteI sat down in Serapia as a deer before. All the cats attacked me and even some supposed kits 'killed' me. There was one nice fox who tried to help me though, but she was sort of a power player.

ONE THING THAT BUGS ME ALMOST MORE THAN PEOPLE MAKING CLANS THAT DON'T READ THE BOOKS IS WEARING SKULLS, BRACLETS, SPIKE COLLARS, BOWS, TAIL ARMOR, AND MORE. THE WARRIORS CATS HAVE CLAWS AND FUR, ANYTHING ELSE? NO. NO SKULLS, NO SWORDS, NO BOWS, NO TAIL ARMOR, NO BRACELETS, NO SPIKE COLLARS, NOTHING. I'm sorry if I'm so picky and people don't like me saying this kind of stuff but sorry, ITS THE TRUTH :) I'm probably going to get hate comments saying I can't boss people around. ReplyDeleteppppffft. why should you be scared? its pretty safe and most of the time they arent aiming for you they're going after somone else, but it looks like they're doing it to you, oh and also, it really erks me because, #1 cats cant rip out hearts, you cant break a jaw that easy. but also, dont judge, most ppl on aj are 10 years old and younger, and they dont understand most things, of course there are teenagers on aj but still, most kids on aj r really young, so go easy on them, please.

I do understand though that there are younger jammers, and I well understand that as of being a teenager I should not cause harm, but as I said before, my close friend only wished to go to Sarpeia Theatre, not to be part of that bloody battle...kids these days, they're only learning more.

ReplyDeleteYeah, but I mean if you want to be realistic like the cats then it would be better to just have a pattern like a wild clan cat and stuff. Spikes are cool but also the thing that makes me upset is jammers don't like to be creative with their warrior outfits if the really want to wear one. Like everyone has spike collar, fox hat or skull helmet, elf bracelets, elf tail armor, and a sword or bow and it's getting annoying. I try my hardest when I let my feelings out on a topic I'm obsessed with not to offend anyone and I get hate for it sometimes but It's just a obsession that a lot of people have that like warriors. When I was younger, I went to the forest, and someone said "Kills countess nm nn" and it really freaked me out. Oh and another thing, cats DON'T eat deer, they are twice the size of cats! Another thing, not being a wolf or fox makes you a kittypet. Yeah, no thank you, I think tigers and snow leopards are felines, thank you. Kicking people out if they aren't a certain animal. C'mon people! Just have fun!
