Quicksand Glitch

Hey jammers! The new item must be in a party, so be on the look out and be sure to send me a picture! ^.^ As a side note, AJHQ sent out 5,000 gems to some/all jammers; although I for one didn't notice any change in my gem number right then.
There is also a strange glitch, one I call the quicksand glitch, that has appeared around Jamaa. I first heard it from classDshay and after some investigation I think I may know why it is happening so much and so randomly.
Notice how the mud sinks up a certain amount of your animal. . . now look at the following glitches I found.
See how I've sunk into the ice and mist (this also works with lava)? I think it's mix up with the layering of mud and other effects. This glitch just happens sometimes. You walk up to a snow tower, mist room, or lava crack and you sink. Strange. . . Anyway, I hope this glitch is fun to play around with (maybe you can even give your buddies a surprise).       It's easy, just go over to the mud in appondale until your muddy then go to the ice den in the wind or the spooky party fog and that will happen! Easy as pie right! Happy jamming and jam on!

    I know how to do it if it dosent work for anybody! Okay so first go to wolf party. ( or any party just this one the easiest ) run back and forth where the lava is. After a cople times you'll sink! ( If it dosent work go to party icon and click same party and do steps again!

      another way to earn 1500 gems is to click free chat on the parent dash board. you recieve a note saying you have been granted 1500 gems, and you get them instantly! hope it helps!

    Animal Jam is offline again. :/ Man, their IT department needs to get their act together. My dad maintains more than 15 websites, (He has a web hosting business) and when something goes down, he has it back up in under half an hour, no matter what. :/ And they can't get ONE website back up in a DAY with a whole team of people? Wow.

    Snowy—I got another letter that's exactly the same today, after getting the first one yesterday. NOW I actually HAVE the gems. By the way, they're right; AJ is offline again! Those phantoms (or possibly hackers..) just won't stop trying, will they?

      it may just be AJ's so popular they cant stand 3 days of weekend crashing (along with moderators) so maybe what they're doing is crashing on purpose to smooth things out? (horrible suggestion . . .)

    This is insane. AJ needs to fix the site! My sister got a 25,000 gem certificate, (Which cost $20.00) and it dissapeared! >:-( And she lost her lion and tiger. :/ And I want to just use the friggin site! Man, whatever is causing the site to go down needs to get taken care of, and SOON. Some people pay money to play on this site, and they want to be able to use it when they feel like using it. Not whenever the tech department feels like trying to fix it for a day or two and then have it go down for another 18 hours. :/

      Geez thats kinda a harsh comment. They do their best! Im quite happy because yesterday i went to an epic den and the daily gem spin popped up on my screen. Good right? WRONG. I was saving gems for a castle. i was gonna buy 1 after looking at that den because i had like 10012 gems. So i stared at my gems. I only had 112. So they try to fix stuff as soon as possible.

      All I am trying to say is that if people are going to spend their hard earned money on their game, then at the very least they should work harder to either get that person their money back, or work to get the site back up so that they can use the stuff they paid money for. Otherwise it is a total racket and scam. :/
