Hey jammers! Today's new item is the Moon Hat, sold on the first page in the clothing booth at the Summer Carnival!

What a cute, and rather goofy, hat! Why does the moon always get the short end of the stick/hat, though? Poor Luna. Anywho, here is a little video about the Diamond Shop, and my reaction.

Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments, both here and on the video! It does make me think AJHQ is pushing memberships a little too hard. I understand it's a business, but there's a point where a game (example - Club Penguin), doesn't give enough to its nonmembers. What do you guys think?

The diamonds in the roof let in soft rays of light, bathing the crumbling pillars in a mystical glow. And it's definitely bigger on the inside. Or would that be smaller on the outside? Such choices...

Hey jammers! Little half update today, and it includes some pretty wacky new features. First, the Crystal Liza Statue is now being sold in the furniture orb of Epic Wonders. Neat right?

And now for the Diamond Shop! It is located next to Club Geoz, which has been shortened and shrunk to make room.

The Jamaa Journal does well in explaining the addition.

 And here are some clarifying posts from AJHQ.

Everyone receives a few gems per week, and you can also win them in the Daily Spin game, if you're super lucky.

Now the items to address! There is an animal and pet store in the center of the room, and it looks pretty darn epic.

Sorry everyone who purchased memberships just for the animals. >.< Next, a clothing store with rare past monthly items.

There are also some neat big cat/wolf plushies to choose from!


Sorry to jammers who worked really to get their rares. As a side note, it appears some Elf Tail Armor colors are missing...

Some of the least popular color now appear to be becoming the rarest. How ironic! Other good news for rare lovers, the Weather Clouds and the Giant Lion Plushies don't appear to have rare plaques!

So they're still rare in name, if that makes you feel better. ^.^ Here are a few more questions answer, pretty interesting.

And in the last shop you can buy gems with diamonds!

 You can always check you gem count by scrolling over your gems icon on the top toolbar. So many currencies now!

Hey jammers! Today's new item is a Sun Hat, sold in the clothing booth at the Summer Carnival. It even has a sun on top!

I'm not sure it's something I'd use in an outfit, but you could use the Sun Necklace to make a pretty cool tie in! Hey, random idea... What if I did outfit challenges? I could make a YouTube video where you tell me an animal, clothing item, and color - then I'd make an outfit.

Hey, guess what? There's a new code for 1000 gems!

It's nice AJHQ has made a new code after so long. They've also done a little post on the Daily Explorer about breaking ice and bridges!

They are pretty vague sometimes, aren't they? Well, what it says is... "You can't break the ice or the bridge right now, but we might add that feature in a future update. Wait and see!" Silly AJHQ. ^.^

Pretty neat little design. Also, here is a neat little sneak peak of Tunnel Town, sent in by AJpaleggs. It's a buyable rare bug!

 Neat little Animal Jam aspect, don't you think? And here's something random, more has been discovered on the number 88 (from the Sports Jersey a few days back). It's a lucky number, probably the luckiest number, in Chinese culture (wealth, prosperity). Anyone remember the Bejing Olympics starting at 8pm on 8/8/08?

This connection was thought of by Hayluc!

 And look, that's the Lucky 88 Butterfly! It wasn't just a random number, nice job AJHQ! Here's also a post by them, about beta.

I've tried to cover this before, but it's good to say again. We can't bring back beta, it was a testing period. >.< Jamaa must change with time, but change can be good. There's so much in store for Animal Jam, I can't wait to see what new adventures are to come.

Can't say I'm much of a fan for this sport tangent AJHQ is taking right now, but we'll see where it leads. Speaking of leads, looks like we got one for when Tunnel Town will be released worldwide!

 A pawsome jammer sent me Tunnel Town's response, and it's pretty exciting! Not too long to wait, are you guys going to get the game when it comes out? And now, one of the News Crew winners!
