Adorable design, but the only color I like the combination of is white and pink. I wish they put a different base on the orange one/white one, or at least a better color than....that. The green one (favorite color) is acceptable, rest are ok.

The headdress was the most requested item to rate by y'all in the comments. It is a members only item, but has a less rare non-member counterpart, the head feather. It comes in 8 colors, and all colors are equally rare. The blue headdress is favored because many people like blue, but the larger number of the cute little things balances out the popularity of 'em.

Oh, horrah! A RIM that's not in the quadruple digits! It's ehh in looks though. Reaaallly ehhhh. I say too much like the original. I wish the RIMS were cooler/more unique - imagine if this purse was blue, or green, or RAAAAINBOW!

Hey jammers! The Friendship Festival is beginning in Jamaa! Today's beautiful new items are the Heart Rose Archway, sold in Jam Mart Furniture, and the returning classic Heart Cape, sold in Jam Mart Clothing. The Friendship Festival is always one of my favorites!

The archway is just so cute! In the next Jamaa update, we should see pretty flowers and cute balloons around Jamaa to celebrate the Friendship Festival and valentines day. Speaking of updates, are you excited for the arrival of Jamaa's owls?

New Welcome Tutorial

Hey jammers! Akachip8967 here. I haven't posted on AJS for a few weeks now because I've been busy with school work! I hope you forgive me. Anywho, Jamaa updated yesterday with a new Jamaa Journal and welcome tutorial featuring Peck! ^.^ 

When you create a new animal, Peck will now greet you in a vibrant welcome area. I think the welcome tutorial is so cute now! Peck will ask you to follow her over the cute little bridge. You'll be greeted with Jamaa's animals who are ever so excited you've arrived in Jamaa.

Peck is so cute! Anywho, once you've followed Peck across the little bridge, you'll be greeted with a huge crowd of Jamaa's animals! Peck will then teach you how to change your animal's color and pattern and give you a big welcome! 

Friendship Armour, Greely's Hideout, and more!

Hi Jammers! :) Yesterday the monthly Jamaa Journal came out, and quite a few interesting items came as well! First off, we have a new armour set, with the theme of Friendship!

The Panda Alpha

Liza's the first alpha everyone meets on Animal Jam, as she welcomes you to the game on her ship, the Blue Heron. Unlike real pandas, she's bipedal. Her hair is tied up in a braid, and her ears are studded with turquoise earrings. She usually carries a pretty wooden staff with a flower on top. The staff looks as if it's made of bamboo, the favorite food of many pandas. On a DE post, it is states she walked to Jamaa on foot, instead of riding on Mira's back like many others. Her favorite color is pink! Named after Eliza Scidmore, a kind lady who worked for National Geographic, she's bound to be a nice, caring alpha.

Pink Flamingos – Playing Wild in Beta Mobile Jamaa

Hey jammers! Sorry for a rather later post today, I was carried away by a flock of Pink Flamingos! Charming fellows they were; they said they were from the far off land of "Jam Mart Furniture"...

And for all jammers too! Quite lovely lawn ornaments they are. Funny that they've arrived to Jamaa, as they were already an item on the Play Wild mobile Animal Jam game, which is being beta tested.

Rarity Ratings-Worn Blanket

Ciao, Jammers! Due to popular request, the AJ Rare Mini Series is BACK, with a shiny new name! Huzzah! This episode: Worn Blankets!

Ah, the worn blanket. A very prestigious item to own. It comes in 8 colors, pictured above. It was first released in Jam-Mart Clothing, on the 4th of October, 2010. The first time it was released, there were only 4 colors. Later on it began showing up as a prize within games (Sky High) and later as prizes within the adventures. For short period of time before the second release, a small number of jammers got ahold of some of the unreleased colors – it caused quite the uproar!

They are non member, and not beta. NOT BETA. Pretty close though, released just a month after Beta Testing ended.

Hey jammers! Sorry to be so late to posting, I'm rather sickish – hoping to be well enough to make a video or two soon. Anywho, today we have a returning item to Jam Mart Clothing, the Mohawk!

Though never among the most popular of items, the Mohawk has made its mark (and opinionated fashion statement) on the history of Jamaa. Another fascinating clothing item that we have mentioned before on AJS is the Healing Staff... And while it no longer exists in Jamaa, I thought we should give it a little study on its possibilities...

Hey jammers! Jamaa has updated today with some lovely new updates. The new Jamaa Journal has been released and the front cover is all about the adorable new Pet Pandas! You can adopt these cute new pets in the Diamond Shop!

If 50,000 jammers adopt the incredible Pet Pandas, AJHQ will adopt a real life panda in their local zoo! This is such an amazing idea and it's what Animal Jam is about. This little guy also comes with amazing accessories! ^.^

Knitted Hat and Jamaa Oceans

Hey jammers! I do apoglize for missing yesterday's Rare Item Monday post. School has begun which means posts maybe a little late or not published, sorry about this jammers but us AJS authors will try our best for you!

Today's classic returning item is the Knitted Hat, sold in Shiver Shoppe. It seems AJHQ forgot to add the 'new' label this time, we all make mistakes! This knitted hat will keep you nice and toasty during the winter weather in Jamaa. ^.^

I think the next Jamaa update is this Thursday because usually the claw leaves Jamaa when the next update is here. Anywho, if you would like to purchase the Panda Claw in the Diamond Shop before it leaves in 2 more days. Happy shopping!

Hey jammers! Akachip8967 here. Today's new item is the cute little Snow Shoes sold in Shiver Shoppe! These cosy little shoes will keep your paws nice and toasty during Jamaa's winter. We only have a few more weeks to enjoy the Jamaaliday decorations around Jamaa. ^.^

Hey jammers! Today I bring you some amazing news! Do you remember a few months ago Snowyclaw published an article on AJS about a new AJ mobile app which is currently in development?  Well, today I have a massive announcement! ^.^

Clark Stacey, AJ's CEO, has tweeted about a brand new AJ app. This app is called Play Wild and will allow jammers to play AJ on mobile and tablet devices! Beta testing for the new Play Wild app begins shortly and you can sign up to become a beta tester for the new app.
