Today's new item is extremely exciting, and I know I have been holding my breath for it ever since the update: the Mira Balloon!

Why is pink the default color?  Shouldn't it be the blue one?????

The first time you were excited, raring to go. You had eagerly picked a clump of boomseeds, and jumped headfirst into the fray of phantoms, gracefully and strategically releasing your boomseeds at the pipes that had allowed for the phantoms to enter the Eastlands. After the remaining phantoms had been taken care of, and all of the chomper plants revived so as to leave a formidable defense, you return to the hollow, feeling quite accomplished and proud of yourself. Then, a frantic voice echoed across the plains, startling you. "The phantoms are launching an attack on the West Field!" Another attack? you think to yourself, feeling a pang of disappointment. You had had such little time to bask in your glorious victory. You let your fists, clutching newly-picked boomseeds, sluggishly fall to your sides. Again you deal with the pipes; again you clean up the mess. "Quick, jammers, another invasion in the Eastlands!" You rush to the other side. "The West Field! East Field! Westland! Hollow Field! Hidden land!" You stifle a groan. Shortly after reaching your ears, the names of the places become jumbled from having heard them so many times, combining in the most curious of ways. Every time you reach the hollow, another phantom attack is in progress. "Will this go on forever?" you ask. With one eyebrow raised slightly, Greely gives you a cold look before resuming to blab directions at the newly arrived reinforcements. Despair builds in your belly as you run back and forth, back and forth. The screams of both phantoms and jammers echo across the plain, and you wonder how you could have willingly helped further this chaos. You scan the field to make sure no one is looking, and then you bolt towards the trees, trying to put as much distance between yourself and the Hidden Hollow as possible.

Let's just say I give 5 stars to this item for imagination, plus, some nice shiny metal.

You are wandering around Crystal Sands when you suddenly come across a hidden entrance in the thick wall of boulders encircling the beach. Cautiously, you walk through the crevice, finding that it leads to a calm, secluded area. You've heard about this place, known as the Canyons Pathway, but you've never actually seen it. Awestruck by its ability to stay hidden in plain sight for so long, you stroll across the sandy trail, taking in the peacefulness of the place. The comforting presence of the large slabs of rock baking in the dappled sunlight, the colorful, the sweet smell of the flowering cacti lining the path, and the calming tinkling of the mysterious clay jars hung all over the rocky walls combined are enough to lull one to sleep. Your eyelids start to droop, and soon enough you find yourself in a strange and colorful dream. The Alphas surround you, performing an odd ritual dance, at the end of which they entrust you with a seemingly important scroll. But by the time you manage to unroll it the Alphas have gone, and you only find that the document is full of pretty pictures...

Ruined Items, Carnival Items, and a Parade

Hey jammers! I want to apologize for how busy I have been trying to organize the Animal Jam Spirit. Sometimes it's difficult to even get to the posts on time! Sadly yesterday one of the new authors had a friend who used their account to post inappropriate material on the website, which I hope that you did not had to see (more info at end of post)

However, there is some good news!! Later today the lovely author XxSmileYouAreBeautifulxX is posting for the return of the Animal Jam Spirit AJMV series. Be sure to return soon, it's an exciting post!!

Over in the Summer Carnival we have two returning items from last year. Is it just me, or did Animal Jam HQ made the Sandals look like Birkenstocks? The classic, popular, ugly shoe. ^-^ Also at the carnival...

Spirit Artwork #29

You seem to have somehow wandered into the Chamber of Knowledge. You decide to stay to escape the chill of the cold night air, lighting a few candles for visibility. Decrepit and seemingly abandoned, the place is as eerie as ever. Once you overcome the loneliness of the area, however, you notice that it really is quite cozy. Disorderly arrangements of artifacts, sculptures and fancy drapery give it the air of a child's room cluttered with old and beloved toys. What seem to be broken tools that had once been of some sort of use can be found in the heap, as well as corked containers whose contents shall forever remain ambiguous. Perhaps this place had once been a fountain of education and insight, but in its current state it only brings about more questions. Various books and papers line the shelves, and naturally you reach for them, in hopes of having some way to pass the time that you will be stuck here for.

Jammer Wall (Facebook?!), Pet Peacocks, Ferrets, and Excavation Site Items

Hey jammers! Apologies for the lack of post yesterday – AJHQ updated laaate in the day, when I was off working at my little local wildlife shelter. I'm stepping in for a post between the days, a Fri'd-Thursday post per say, with a mixture of items and updates!

The new item for today are the crates, but we have the rest as yesterday's introduction to the excavation site den items. That was the winning furniture selection as voted by Jamaa Journal readers.

Rainbow Table & Departing Pet Castle

Hey Jammers! Wackywolf81 here with another post. Apologies for the somewhat late post today. I've had to wait nearly three hours for the cloud party. Anywho, today's new item is the Rainbow Table, sold for 650 gems in the Cloud Party.

I really like the style of a lot of the rainbow items. It looks like a rainbow has sprung out of the ground to form some kind of furniture (rainbows don't spring out of the ground, though..).

Since most of the new items now are being put in the Freedom Party, and normally they only go on a pretty long time after I start doing my post, I hope you don't mind if my posts are a little late. Spirit Artwork #28

Phew. The Summer Carnival sure is crowded today. You push through a large mass of jammers, suddenly feeling the need for some fresh air. Finally, after many frustrating collisions, you manage to squeeze through an opening, popping out of the crowd and into an eerily empty area of the carnival: the coloring booth. The flags draped above it flap fitfully in the wind, their colors dull and faded. The supplies piled in a shelf near the back of the booth are all covered with a fine layer of dust, seemingly untouched for years. A sparse cover of papers upon which various animals are printed lay on the forlorn-looking desk in the cool shade. You bend over to squint at them, wondering how they had managed to stay on the desktop without being blown away.

Hey jammers! Happy Fourth of July (American independence day) to all the jammers in the United States. Apologies for the late post once again – my family is crazy celebrating, visiting the local parade and such. ^-^ If you're in America, what are you doing for the holiday?

Mira Firework, Disguised Mask, & a New Code!

Hey Jammers! 8io here, once again. Today, we only have two new items, both of which come in a plethora of colors and styles! The first of the two, the Mira Firework, is sold at the Freedom Party!

Fantastic! This is probably my favorite of the Firework series, since it features the elegant Mira. The fully blue one is the best, in my opinion, since it is the actual colors of Mira. Also, sorry if the image is going too fast, I was experiencing problems while creating it.

Hey jammers! Smile here (: Woo, it's been a while, hasn't it. I haven't really been on AJS or posted for like a month already (So if I miss any items or repeat any my apologies xD)! I was going to post a bit earlier today but I kinda fell asleep again, I guess my brain isn't used to waking up that early anymore :P 

There are no new items in Jam Mart Clothing or Furniture today, but our fantastic paint set is leaving! The items are all counting down, and today is the Paint Marks' last day ;; Located in Jam Mart Furniture, get yours if you want it before it leaves! On another note, have any of you guys wanted to paint your rooms a colour before? I wanted mine to be black for a very long time haha.. 

Larkspurs, Becoming a Phantom in Jamaa &Play Wild Release

Hey jammers! Wackywolf81 here. Today we have three new items, the first two being the Larkspur Bouquet and the Larkspur, which are both sold in Treetop Gardens. 

The Larkspur Bouquet comes in 8 colors and it sold for 700 gems, while the Larkspur comes in only one color, and is sold for 350 gems.

I really like this series of flowers. I think I regret not buying them all from the start, eee. :c

Anywho, the other new item for today is the Ruby Birthstone for the month of July.
