Yikers, I fell asleep before I could finish this. /).(\ Ok, let's start with the new items! First, the Water Park den has returned!
And the Diamond from April? I don't think that's right! As you might have noticed in the title, the summer carnival has returned to Jamaa! It's probably one of the most-looked-forward-to events of the summer, so be sure to go do a little exploring. ^.^
You can get there using the icon on your party list!
There are three, brand new furniture items for sale...
Plus, all the items from last year's Summer Carnival (well, except freedom plushies I guess) have returned to store!
 
Luckily the gem to ticket booth has returned, makes life a bit easier.
The winner of the Photo Booth contest has been announced!
And now you're able to have 200 den item in any den, any time!

And some Jam Session news!
 
 Looks like we'll be getting a Keyboard in the near future! The next update is bringing the disappearance of some animals.
 
And don't forget, the calendar for this update!
And of course, the double gems game, Long Shot!

      @Lpsblu I know, it's so hard to keep saving up tickets!! lol. What I did to earn gems to buy tickets is have giveaways. Like, get some colored items on my list that members can't get and say "I'll accept any trade with four items" and then you recycle the items. =3

      These newbies don't know how lucky they have it with the carnival this year. Last summer there was no ticket gem exchange booth and you had to earn tickets the HARD way. Oh, and everything was SUPER EXPENSIVE. If I see anyone complaining how hard it is to earn prizes this year, Imma smack them in the head with a pillow. xDD

      U guys, u know u shouldn't be trying to ask people to send u summer carnival stuff. Maybe u can make a contest??? Or a trade party like u could say summer carnival thing trade party in jamaa. I agree newbies really got it easy... only thing i got was those kite and now i barely wear it then the ticket thingy came and BOOM! Made life easier.

      @ Mia&Lps Sadly, I don't think the land will be coming next update. It's just too soon. Koalas left like 2 or 3 updates ago. Not that I don't want the land to come. I SO want the land to come, lol. :D

      Same here! I was at the Summer Carnival and i had just finished playing Phantom Ball, and i clicked on a wolf....       Do you have video proof? I don't not believe you, but people have been being super mean and when somebody calls THEM a scammer they swap it around and call the innocent person a scammer. I've decided I'm only going to use video proof or eye-witness to report somebody.

      It's quite normal to spot at least 30 scammers per day on AJ. Even more if you are on Aldan. It's nothing new. Just warn the other people around not to listen, and report them while it is still happening, and move on. The mods will check their chat history and see the scam and take action if they see the proof.

      RC, exactly. However, just like educating Jammers about Mira and Zios, we need to make sure that everyone can evade them.
      Speaking of teaching Jamaasian culture, I say that Jamaasians know the lore and are basically well-educated Jammers, but regular Jammers don't know the lore but can be converted to a true Jamaasian. Too bad that people just say they're lovely stories... Same with the stories I put a lot of effort into trying to find and make.

    The summer carnival is back! Wolf, I'm sure you can still do the glitch, but as I'm a nonmember with the glitch, well I'll be devastated if I log on to my den ruined. I know I would feel that way. Why don't you put the rarer plushies to display? Or separate dens?

      But then they would get angry emails about ruining the rarity of items! I hope we at least get the adventure next update just when the animals have left... You can kind of tell, Animal Jam has been more cryptic than usual, there are many minor updates, and it seems like they're trying to hide something.

      What could they be hiding? Maybe, for the next adventure, we can journey to the Land of the Phantoms!
      That puts me in the mood for a story of sorts.

      The Land of the Phantoms
      Long, long ago, when the Phantoms had just been born, they soon realized they would need a base of operations outside of Jamaa. They wondered why they couldn't just conquer part of Jamaa. Then they realized htye could, and, after a long and terrible battle, they did. The region they conqured was called Ilithiena, and it was beautiful. Waterfalls cascaded down into it, and the rivers that flowed out of it provided water for all of Jamaa. Birds lived there, as did deer and gazelles. When the Phantoms came, these wondrous Jaamasians were enslaved. To this day, Ilitheina remians lost the the Phantoms. If we can conquer the Phantoms and drive them back, we will. For are we not Jaamasians, devoted to living in harmony? We will send the Phantoms a message, that they cannot take whatever they want! That Jamaa, Jamaa is our land! We will regain our home!!!

      The End

      I took the name Ilithiena from The Lord of the Rings, except it was Ilithien in the books, and the last bit is from Avatar.
