Knights and Foxes

Do you want to make a difference? . . click here . . .

Hey jammers! Two new items today. The first is the Knight Helmet in Jam Mart Clothing. It's nonmember!
Also, the Fox shaman Statue (annoyingly unnamed) is now being sold in the Chamber of Knowledge. Pawsome look!
I already have one for my den! Two of the rare fox plushies have been found by Trickertreee, both with wacky hats!
What do you think? Also from the update is the addition to the map stores, the Pet Den Item Shop. You can now teleport there directly (AJHQ forgot to add it before, whoopsies).
AJHQ sent a message out about the foxes earlier.
Did you know you could see the latest AJHQ message in your settings menu? It also appears the 999 glitch is still present!
Here are the most recent everloop trivia questions. . .
AJHQ also posted about the new foxes (and the fact that they're member only animals) on the Daily Explorer
What a big post! More news tomorrow, be sure to keep me filled in on what you've discovered around Jamaa.

Foxes in Jamaa

Hey jammers! Well, the update is here, and foxes have come to Jamaa. Just real quick we'll go over the new items. In Jam Mart Furniture is a neat little wooden nonmember Mailbox and in the Sol Arcade is the multiplayer Jamaa Derby!
There are two new pages of high price plushies at the Summer Carnival in the main sale tent. Snakes and more!

In other news the Antlers color issue was fixed and something happened to the horse shaman statue in Zios' Temple. . .
HOLY Mira. . . No matter the name, at least it has a name! I'm so excited, you guys know what this means? We made a difference! Keep at it everyone, we can convince AJHQ to give them all names! At Jam-a-Gram mail we have a new card and stamps.
Now the big part of the update, the foxes! Sadly they are member only animals, as many of us expected.
There are many adorable actions with these critters! However, playing while wearing Leaf Armor is not recommended.
See the floating leaves? There are also new member badges as well as nonmember fox plushies in the claw.
How cute are those plushies? ^.^ Moving on, there is now a sale on all old items at the Summer Carnival, check it out!
There is also new painting activity in the Art Studio of Coral Canyons, basically you can now paint free form, anything!
Simply click on Peck's paint canvas! In the upper part of the Canyons there is a den shop, but it's simply to take up space (and stop complaints about the old shop). How do I know? You can still easily buy dens from the comfort of your own.
Plus, turtle pets will come to Jamaa in two weeks!

There is also a new icon in the top right of your screen for your in-game settings. Now you can lock your den away from home!
I believe, however, that the 999 days remaining thing is a glitch, because I don't remember buying so many memberships. AJHQ also has news about monkey endangerment.
And lastly there are repeated posts from last update.
And to wrap up our post is the new calender for the next two weeks. Did I mention Super Sort is on double gems and that there is a pawsome fox video in Jammer Central?
Enjoy the update everyone, keep up with the Jamaasian Movement, and most of all HAPPY JAMMING! (\^.^/)

Bouquet and Jamaa Quests

Do you want to make a difference? . . click here . . .

Hey jammers! Today's item is another for the Fantasy Castle Den series - the Fancy Bouquet! Not a big fan of it myself. . .
. . . but I'm sure it looks wonderful. Also, I have a little thing for jamaasian discussion today. When you first join Animal Jam you meet the spirit of Liza and she says this to you -
Well, there appears to be two big lies in that statement. One, we never learn about Mira, and two, we don't have any travels. When I say travels, I'm actually referring to journeys or quests, but not like the Journey Book we know today. I found this interesting clip of an old article, click here to read the whole thing.
Isn't that strange? This appears to be AJHQ's original goal for Jamaa, they were going to take the road less traveled by, but instead lost focus and took the well worn road of ease and profit. During Animal Jam's beta there happened to be a book much like our Journey Book, as well as the achievements, trophy, both of which seemed to be coming later in the game.
Instead Achievements came but the book disappeared for a long time. It came back to Jamaa as the Journey Book.
I feel that Animal Jam has really lost it's natural goal since beta. What do you think the creators intended with that first book? What would the quests have been like? Which book would you rather have in Jamaa? I hope you have some ideas!
