Rare Snow Shoes

Hey jammers! Today's new color rare items are the Rare Snow Shoes, sold on the second page of the Shiveer Shoppe!
AJHQ has already posted about them on the Daily Explorer.
Now for today's mystery we have another alpha item, Graham's key! As you might've noticed, he always wears it on this tail.
The monkey alpha even wore it back in his shaman days; the summer of 2011, when I met him... Click here for the post.
So here's the question(s). What is this mysterious item called? How, when, and where did Graham acquire it? And perhaps the most important, what does his key open? I may start doing little prizes each week for really imaginative stories...

New art is posted on the Spirit Art mini blog!

  2. Hi here is my story

Once a long long time ago before the wrath of the phantoms Mira gave Graham the key to unlock her statue but right before she gave it to him the phantoms froze her to gold. Graham seen the key sitting there and he was about to take it off the floor but it was too late.... the phantoms ate it. But then he seen the shape of it from the dirt where it fell and he made the key. He did not know how to use it so now he roamed out to a far destiny land where he could find out how to unlock Mira but now he finally will come back and unlock Mira with the key on his tail.

    Hope you liked it

  3. Here's my story:

One of Graham's first creations was the Chamber Of Secrets. Appropriately, the Chamber was named because of the great wisdom it held. Once the great chamber was built, animals slowly gained knowledge of the world outside Jamaa from entering the chamber. But everyone knew that there was more to be learned, and they didn't know where to find the knowledge. Graham knew, and it was inside the chamber. Rumor has it that if you do the Alphas a good deed, Graham will lend you the key to the secret room, and you will be the wisest animal in Jamaa apart from the alphas themselves. According to some, Mira's spirit lives deep inside. No animal has ever done such a great deed so no animal knows for sure where the keyhole is, but many think that it is hidden inside Graham's diary, where ever it may be.

I really hope you like my story, even though it's really short. Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it!

    5. It does? I'm really sorry about that. Must have had Harry Potter on my mind when I wrote it... I'm really sorry if it sounds like it's copying HP and honestly, I didn't try to make it sound like it. If you think I'm lying, have it your way. I never had a chance at writing a good story anyway. Still hope you like it :)

Don't beat yourself up about it! It's fine. I accidentally say wrong things ALL THE TIME. Besides, the Chamber of Secrets sounds better anyway. :) I didn't think it was copying Harry Potter AT ALL. Your story rocked regardless.

  10. Ok heres my story: Gramham had just become a shaman/alpha about two months ago. He had been looking for a chamber to find some phantoms and hunt them down for the last few months. He was in the Lost Temple of Zios when he saw a shimmering item in the river in the cave. He waded over and picked it up. "I wonder what this is for," he thought to himself. Then at once he looked at the boarded door. He had never took the boards off it, but the key looked like it fit the keyhole. He put the key around his tail, and with the other shaman's/alpha's help, they pulled the boards off. He pulled the key off his tail and put it in the keyhole. He opened the door and he found lots of tresury. Then at he realized that the door had had a mystical power in it, and he didn't have enough power to control it. So he put the key back on his tail, and boarded the door up again. Ever since then he has kept that same key on his tail. (My username on AJ is thun8902, by the way.)

  12. The Secret Door
when Graham was a small monkey before he started inventing he loved to read and find new things everyday he would go down in the chamber of knowledge to admire the great shaman statues and read. In that chamber of secrets there was a mysterious shelf and Graham, as curious as could be, climbed the shelf at the highest point he could and saw... a small gold key Graham took it and left the chamber of secrets the small monkey wandered around the lost temple of zios trying to find something to unlock. He came across this huge wooden door he saw a keyhole he put the small golden key in and you wouldn't believe what he saw... He quickly slammed the door shut and he was to never open it again til he was a shaman.

  15. Dear, Snowyclaw these are my stories I tried to keep them as accurate as possible.
This peculiar item is none other than "The Key of Mira" on Graham's birthday Mira gave him the key and told him where and when to use it, it had to be at the precise moment that Mira had specified to him. This was before Mira had lost Zios and her sadness created the phantoms, but, when the happening of which the phantoms attempted to take over Jamaa happened Graham used the key just as Mira told him to, to unlock a door in the Lost Temple of Zios close by a miniature swamp. Mira had told Graham to make sure every single last jammer had gotten inside the room behind the door. After all was done, Graham locked the door and they were safe. When the "War of the Phantoms" had passed, Graham unlocked the door and everyone had been safe.

Did you enjoy the story? Hey, how about you there, in the back, did you enjoy it? Well anyways, here are my more simple answers to the questions.

"What is this mysterious item called?": The Key of Mira

"How, where, and when did Graham acquire it?":
How; Mira gave it to him as a gift for his birthday.
    Where; Jamaa
When; Before the "War of the Phantoms"

"-What does the key open?": The door that never opens in the Lost Temple of Zios.

Enjoyed it? I hope so, i'm just visiting once again to show my story.

  16. Graham held the key carefully as he stepped into the observatory. He had crafted this key upon Shade's request (this was before she and Greely met, see my blog for more details), and brought it toward the telescopes. Shade had even told him it could open any door, as all the symbols of power for the alphas are magical, but first he wanted to try it out on the locked telescopes, as Kindear's spirit locked them up since she died here(again, see my blog for details, www.animaljamphantombreeder.blogspot.com) and prevented any study of Mira or Zios. "Open sesame,"he muttered as he took the key off his tail, and unlocked the telescopes. CLICK. The telescope's cap clicked open, and Graham looked joyfully through the telescope, looking at Zios's constellation.(To be continued...)

  17. Graham didn't want the power of the key to be misused, so he contacted Shade worrieedly. Now, I never mentioned that she used dark magic even better than Greely, as I never mentioned. "Well, just use it in a time of need, as that will come soon."she said."Moon was also the goddess of witchcraft and keys, so I blessed the blueprints. Do not use this key for anything evil, as it will crumble, okay?" Then, she stopped speaking through Lisa's cane. Graham vowed to keep it on his tail, and hid the use from everyone, even the alphas. Sometimes, though, he'll use it to unlock a phantom dungeon or cage on a mission, and the alphas would rejoice that he found the key, and continue their quest. But when the alphas faded, Graham brought his key with them. However, they are returning from their eternal quest inside the spirit world to destroy phantoms...

  18. The Key Of Graham
Time and time ago, when Graham had just became shaman, he was given a key by Mira.
"Graham, I trust you to invent. I will give you this key, and once you find out what it opens, you may make a lab in the correct room." Mira said.
"I'm up for the challenge, Mira."
Graham ruffled along the lands to search on what the key open. He tried all the closed doors in Jamaa and Zios. When he was just about to give up,the river in the water shone on the a door behind a thick layer of swampy plants. Graham stared at the door the a while. Then ran to get Sir Gilbert.
"Sir Gilbert!" Graham ran toward him.
    "What is Graham?"
"I need your help, I need you the help me clear out the vines and plants over in Zios in front of a door."
"Alright, I'll help you. But what is this for?"
"This key might unlock the door, and if it does I might get the room for my inventing."
"Okay, I'll come and help you."
Sir Gilbert and Graham prodded to The Temple of Zios. As they got there Graham showed Sir Gilbert the door behind the plants.
"Are you sure that key will open it?"
    "Positive."
"Alright, its your call but we must hurry, I have an adventure to go on."
As Graham and Sir Gilbert cleaned off the vines the door had became exposed to the sunlight through the vines. The door was a rusty dark brown and felt rough to Graham's touch. "Thanks a lot Sir Gilbert."
"Any time." Sir Gilbert said as he ran off to discover. Graham toke a deep breathe for a moment, and stuck the key in. The key had fit, but would the key open the door? Graham turned the key and the door came open.
"I did it! I found the room!"
"Congrats Graham," Mira rose apon him "You have found the Room of Graham, a special room made for inventing. I suggest that you are proud of your self."
    "I am very much Mira."
"They go on and start making Jamaa a better place for everyone."
    "I will Mira, I promise I will."

  20. It must be something rather important if he keeps the key by his side all the time! I've always imagined it opened the hatch by the stairs of the first room.in the Chamber of Knowledge. It's a solid theory that he built the place, so perhaps there is something down there.. perhaps knowledge he didn't want to be found!

  21. Here is what i think enjoy! Long time ago when shamans were still in Jamaa.Graham had been given a key from Zios and Mira to open his room where he would sleep and it was the key to the room when he would invent stuff for all jammers. Graham always keeps his key by his side all the time because he didn't want it to fall into the wrong hands( the phantoms. So he always locks his inventions room so phantoms wouldn't go in and use his inventions to destory Jamaa! And that's why he has his key by his side everytime. I hope you enjoyed it! reply to me what you think about it - kittycat98048 PEACE JAMMERS ;D

  24. back in the old days of jamaa......

One day Mira had asked Graham to do something very special. He had asked Graham to make a key to all the places in Jamma. I guess you could call it a skeleton key to Jamma. Mira asked this of Graham because the phantoms kept getting into the stores and sometimes even the most sacred places of Jamma. But there was only one problem, Mira had Greely help Graham. Graham didn't hate Greely but they weren't friends either. Greely had been assigned this because Greely had magical artifacts that could improve the key. One night they worked late into the night. The phantoms didn't know they were still there. They snuck into the chambers under temple of zios. Meanwhile Graham and Greely had finished the key and Graham was to lock up. In the dark he lost the key and made a lot of noise doing it. The loud noises scared the phantoms away. Luckily they found the key. Graham had an idea to not lose the key. He decided to keep on his tail. Now it's been there ever since.

  27. Here's my story for the key:
A few months had passed since Graham had become a new alpha. Mira had decided that she could trust him with more important things, like the key she gave him one day...
It was time for the meeting of the alphas. They always had to change the locations of their meetings so the phantoms wouldn't find them. This time, they were at the Chamber of Knowledge, where some important artifacts from the early days of Jamaa were kept. The meetings were held at important places like this, or sometimes at an alpha's home.
"We have come here today to discuss a very important artifact from Jamaa's past," said Mira. "It is this key," she said, holding up a single, shining, golden, key. "It could be very dangerous if the phantoms get it. The key opens the storage of all the spirit stones in Jamaa. If the phantoms get to the spirit stones... well, it won't be good, that's for sure. Graham, please step forward."
Graham nervously took a step forward. "Yes, Mira?" he asked.
"I have decided to let you guard the key, at least for now," she said. "This will be your final test to earn my trust. If you can keep the key safe for the rest of the season, you will become a full alpha. If you fail, you will no longer be an alpha at all, partly because there might not be any animals to guide at all. Are you up to the challenge?"
"Yes, Mira," he said nervously. "I will try my very best to protect this key."
"Good," said Mira. "This meeting is over."

    1. Part 2:
A whole season had passed since that meeting of the alphas, and it was now winter. Graham left that key in a locked box and hid the other key... so well that he had forgotten where he had hid it. It was time for the next monthly meeting of the alphas.
Graham ran through the forest and into Jamaa Township. He was going to be late for his first meeting as a full alpha! All the other alphas were already gathered at the empty place at the top of Jamaa Township that was used for very important meetings. It's where the Mira statue is before it was there.
"You're late! said Liza. "How could you be late for being made a full alpha?"
"It's ok, Liza," said Mira. "All that really matters is that he's here."
"But no alpha has ever been late for being made a full alpha before!" argued Liza. "It must mean that something's horribly wrong!"
"It must mean that something's horribly wrong!" said Peck in a weird voice, copying Liza and making fun of her. "Seriously, Liza!" Peck said regularly this time. "What's wrong with you? Just because Graham is late doesn't mean the world is going to explode!"
Before Liza could retort back, Mira said, "Come you two, let's just start the meeting."

      Part 3 is coming next!

    2. Part 3:
"You will all know what this meeting is about," said Mira. "It's time to make Graham a full alpha. Graham, please step forward."
Graham stepped forward, proudly this time. "Are you ready to become a full alpha?" Mira asked.
"Yes, Mira," said Graham, "I'm ready." Mira spread her wings as wide as she could, and they glowed. She touched them together in front of Graham, and a beam of magic energy flowed into Graham. She folded her wings back into their regular position, and all the other alphas noticed that Graham looked... different. More like an alpha.
"This meeting is over," said Mira.

    3. Part 4:
"Yay for Graham, our newest alpha!" said Peck. "Being an alpha is awesome!"
"How do you know it's awesome, your not an alpha yet!" said Sir Gilbert.
"Yes, but it LOOKS like it's awesome!" said Peck.
"Why do you always follow us around, Peck? said Greely. "You're really annoying."
"Yes, you might be special since you're the only rabbit in Jamaa so far, but you're NOT an alpha." said Sir Gilbert.
"What!? Why are you two being so mean to Peck?" asked Graham. "I wasn't an alpha to long ago, and you weren't mean to me!"
"Well-" started Sir Gilbert, but before he could finish, a cloud of darkness soared overhead! All the alphas looked up.
"I told you something was horribly wrong," said Liza.
"What's going on?!" cried Peck. "Mira, what are those things in the darkness?"
"Those are phantoms," replied Mira. All the alphas except Peck gasped.
"I thought we had defeated them!" said Liza.
"It looks like they're back," said Greely.
"I might be the newest alpha, but I was there when we defeated them and it's really bad that they're back! said Graham.
"It looks like we will have to fight them again." said Mira. She tried to fly up, but she was slowly turning into stone, and so were all the alphas except Graham and Peck! They looked around, and they saw that animals everywhere were vanishing! Graham hadn't known that during the meeting, the phantoms had found the key to the box with the special key and destroyed the spirit stones! Graham and Peck hadn't turned to stone because they were the only animals of their kind, but Mira was effected because all the spirit stones were destroyed.

    4. Part 5:
      "What's happening!?" cried Peck.
"The phantoms have destroyed the spirit stones," replied Graham. "I failed. I understand what Mira meant by if I fail there will be no animals left to guide. I wish I had never tried to be a alpha at all. I wouldn't have if I knew it would end like this."
"Graham, you have to do something! With Mira gone, no one else can stop it!" said Peck. "Look what's happening! The phantoms are starting to destroy the town!"
As she spoke, buildings were being ripped apart by phantoms. "Look out! screamed Peck, pushing Graham out of the way of a falling rock.
"You're right, Peck." said Graham. "This is all my fault. Even if I'm not an alpha anymore, I'll have saved the others and peace will be restored to Jamaa. Peck, you stay here. I have to fix the spirit stones."
"No!" said Peck. "I'm coming with you."
"Ok, but if I have to fight, stay out of it!"
"Ok," said Peck a little unhappily.

      Part 6 coming next!

    5. Part 6:
Graham and Peck ran to the secret cave in the Lost Temple of Zios. They went down in the pit to the cave where the spirit stones were kept. There was a metal door with a lock, but luckily the phantoms had left it slightly open. Graham spotted a shiny, golden key lying on the floor. He picked it up and used a string to tie it on his tail. He silently promised that he would always keep it there. Peck followed Graham to table in the back that had the spirit stones on it. They had been smashed to pieces!
Graham told Peck his plans for building a machine that would fix the spirit stones. It was made of stone, but Graham added a little of Mira's magic so that it would fix spirit stones.
An hour later, it was finished! Graham put a spirit stone in, and five minutes later, it came out perfectly fixed! They repeated this with the rest of the spirit stones. They didn't know it, but whenever a spirit stone came out fixed, the alpha of that kind turned back to normal and the animals reappeared. At the end, Mira also returned from stone.

    6. Part 7:
Graham returned to Jamaa Township with Peck following him. "You're a hero, Graham!" exclaimed Peck.
"I didn't do that much," said Graham. "It was my mistake, so I fixed it, that's all."
"Well, it was really brave of you!" said Peck. By then, they had reached Mira and the rest of the alphas.
"I'm so sorry, Mira!" said Graham. "I hid the key in a box and I hid they key to that box, but the phantoms must have found both. I guess I didn't hide them well enough. I don't deserve to be an alpha anymore."
"Graham, what really matters is that after you made a mistake, you fixed it. That's what counts," said Mira. "I won't make you not an alpha. Just make sure it doesn't happen again."
      "I won't, Mira," said Graham.
"Graham is a hero!" exclaimed Peck again. "Mira, can I make some statues to honor his bravery?"
"Sure, Peck. You can put them here," said Mira.
      "Thanks!" said Peck.
A few days later, Peck was finished with her statue. She showed it to Mira and the alphas. "It's really nice!" said Graham. "Thank you, Peck."
      "You're welcome!" said Peck happily.
It was statues of Mira and the alphas frozen in stone, with Graham running of to the spirit stones.
      "Peck?" said Liza.
      "Yes, Liza?" asked Peck.
"I think you forgot someone," said Liza.
      "Who?" asked Peck.
      "Yourself!" said Liza.
"Wow, how could I have ever forgotten me?" said Peck.

Today, all that's left of Peck's statue is Mira, and everyone just calls it the Mira statue. Most animals have forgotten Graham's bravery- all except Peck. She still thinks he's a hero.

  28. Graham was an ordinary monkey. He stumbled up the windy grass hill and stared into the abyiss. A giant blue bird flew high above him and stared down. "Graham" the giant bird echoed. "I have seen your skills. Are you ready to become a shaman"? "Yes mira" Mira placed a giant blue wing on his head and chanted words even thee couldent understand. A blue fire bubbled around him and he felt great power.
But, there was one thing even Graham the powerfull monkey shaman was ashamed of - his secrets. Graham had written down all his secrets in a leather notebook (One of the previous monday mysteries!) He searched and searched for somthing to hide it in. He had finally found it
Graham picked up a solid metel box and carved DO NOT OPEN on its front with a phantom tooth. You will be safe here graham whispered as he dropped the box into the ocean alon gwith the leather notebook inside and the feather thee had used.
Greely raced into shaman grounds with a sick look on his face one day. " They are coming. " He said. with a shock to all of them, a phantom bowled greely over and let out a terrifying laugh. Then it seemed like there will millions of them, fighting. The only thought Graham was his secrets. He ran over to the windy beach where the that thee dropped his secrets rested. The first thing he heard was a menacing phantom laugh. He was opening a metal box that said DO NOT OPEN GRAHAMS PROPERTY on the front. "No!!!" graham screamed.
Now the whole world will know yur secrets. A few of the phantoms giggled as they read through the page. THen he started reading, "Oh my dear veronica how could I let you die on the stooormy night oh dear-" But graham cut of the phantom and proceeded to leap on him. The phantom threw the book and the feather high into the air. And that was that
Graham thinks the book landed somewhere in saperia forest but he didnt look. But one thing for sure it was over

  31. When Grahm was younger, Mira was giving out weapons and gifts to the animals. She had noticed the odd behavior of shadows recently and decided to take action. Grahm got something odd. He got a key. Mira had told him it opened a portal to another dimension of which we would put the corrupted shadows. Grahm had been curious of the gift and when he got to his home in The Temple of Zios, he had shown Zios. Instantly, the phantoms attacked Zios, hurting him and killing him. :( Then Zios's prized idol fell down and all the phantoms turned on Grahm. Grahm put the key on his tail, so he dug his tail- and the key along with it- in the ground, creating a large portal. The phantoms dissapeared into it. And Grahm kept his key on his tail at all times.

  32. One day in Jamaa, Mira gave Graham two keys. "Graham, these two keys are very important. You may ask what they do, but you must find out for yourself. Go on a journey wherever you desire, and you will see the keys' uses." said Mira. Graham always wanted to go to the far off lands, the plains. In the plains, there were fruit to eat, there was fresh, clean water to drink, butterflys and bees flying. And by that stream of water, ducklings and baby bunnies would play and have fun. Graham quickly told Mira where he wanted to go. Mira nodded as approval. The rest of the day Graham gathered supplies neccescary for traveling. The next day, he set off. As he walked over mountains and tough terrains, a harpy eagle swooped down. "Hey, you want a ride? Don't worry, I won't eat you." asked the Harpy eagle. "No thanks..." said Graham. Even though the Harpy eagel seemed very generous, Graham's knowladge of animals got the best of him. He knew that Harpy eagels CAN and sometimes WILL eat monkeys or other various apes, not that they are it's only food. Graham continued. Once he reached his destination, the Harpy eagel appeared again. "Hey, you want a ride?" asked the Harpy eagel once more. "No thanks, I'm already at my destination." said Graham. The Harpy eagel sat down and stared at the ground. "What's wrong?" asked Graham. "Well, I'm the only one in my family who won't eat monkeys, so they made me leave the nest when I was little. And since monkeys like you are smart, you guys don't even bother to take your chances with a Harpy eagel." replied the Harpy eagel. Graham took out a key, one of the two. Graham randomly stuck it in the ground, and twisted it as if opening a door. Suddenly, a long paragraph of Anglo-Saxon runes appeared on the ground. "I can read runes" said the Harpy eagel. Then the Harpy eagel translated the runes "This key you have chosen unlocks friendship, and now you have the choice to use it now or keep it. The key will fade once used, do you choose to use it? Yes, or No?" Graham thought about this one. "Yes, because I need this key for unlocking the friendship of one I would usually not expect to befriend." said Graham. The key faded, and the Harpy eagel looked up and then fell. "Friend..." said the Harpy eagel. "My name is... Harper." Graham looked around. "So... what now?" asked Graham. Harper got up and looked around. "I don't know." he replied. So, together they walked to the stream.

    You await part 2!

    ReplyDelete
  33. part 2

Graham shared more than half of his knowladge with the animals of the plains. And then, he and Harper ate some fruit. "It's been a good day, I still don't know your name yet..." said Harper. "Oh, silly me! I'm Graham." he replied. "Well, Graham. I still don't know what the other key of your's does." said Harper. Graham thought. He thought so much, that he entered his mind zone. He walked around an emty space, and then Mira appeared. "Graham, this key... put it on your tail and you will be able to live longer than you are supossed to." said Mira. His dream faded, and he woke up to see Harper shaking him in fear saying "Graham, wake up. Say something!" Graham told him what happened, everything about what Mira said and how sometimes he will enter his mind zone. "Oh," thought Harper. Graham put the key on his tail, and he felt different. "Harper..." said Graham. "I want to FLY home." Harper smiled. Graham put on his googles and hooped onto Harper's back. "Our Destination: Jamaa!" yelled Graham. They had fun all the way home. He told Mira about his jouney and all about his new friend. "Graham, until I summon you back for imporatant times, go to the plains. Have fun with Harper. The goal is to be happy. And I see you have succeeded." said Mira. Graham smiled and hopped back on Harper. And until the shamans return, Graham will be with Harper in the far off plains.

    THE END.

  35. The Key~
Long ago when Jamma was still being created. A young monkey named Graham loved tinkering with has many things has he could find. He would create many inventions that some animals found very usefull. One day the great and powerful Mira saw how inventive this young monkey was and disided to give him is own place to tinker in. It was a small wood shack with two tables of nuts and screws and bolts and many tools. When it was Grahams birthday Mira put a blindfold on him and walking him to his new buliding place. Graham was thrilled with his present. Mira took his hand and placed a shiny gold key in it. "This is the key that unlocks your shack." She told him "don't lose it or you can't get in." Right away Graham started a invention. He wanted to thank Mira for the great gift he had been given. He desided to creat a Phantom Vaccum, phantoms would be no more after they would be sucked up into it. He spent month after month working on his gift to Mira and Jamaa. Some of the animals even wondered what might have happened to him since he was gone so long. The day finally came when Graham was tighting the last screw. He clapped the dust off his hands and got ready to test it. He pushed the vaccum outside of his shack and turned it on. He watched the phantoms come close with range has they were being sucked in. But the vaccum suddenly stopped working. Graham looked all over it for what was wrong. But he was two late, when he turned around his shack was covered in darkness and was gone. Graham looked down at his key that he luckly had with him. He took a scrap piece of cloth and tied it to his tail. He wore it since then and never took it off. He wanted to never forget his shack.

  36. Graham was given the key by Mira, to unlock the stone chamber that the phantoms enter to Jamaa for the Phantom Day festivities. He was trusted enough in the old days, when he was Shaman of the Week. He always unlocks the chamber for a few phantoms to get in - There are hundreds waiting at that chamber. He keeps it on his tail so spies wouldn't get at it. Any phantom who get into Jamaa will be chased into the Stone Chamber by Greely and Sir Gilbert and locked in by Graham. ~Prycepan~

Mira looked down and saw a great circle of animals around one small abnormal monkey with great goggles and a very interesting little gadget in his hands. There was a mysterious metallic cart with big and small items piled up on the top.The animals around were very interested in whatever he was showing them.Mira wondered what the strange monkey had and decided to fly down to see what he was showing all the excited animals. All the animals gasped with "awwed" at the sight of the Great Mira as she gracefully flew down to join the crowd. The strange monkey stopped talking and stared up at Mira and smiled saying "Hello Great Mira! I am Graham and I am glad you came down to see me." Mira wondered how Graham knew and said,"You are a very interesting monkey Graham.I would like to talk to you in my den." Graham got so excited he starting bouncing up and down and knocked over his cart with all his little trinkets in it.The animals around scattered to to get the items back on his cart as Graham followed Mira to her den.As they walk in Graham gasps in aww at the magnificent sight.Mira smiles and sits down on a golden leather chair and tells Graham to sit across from her. Graham was so excited that he forgot to put his little gadget down and was still clutching it in his hands.Mira smiles and says,"Graham, you seem very interesting and I would like to appoint you as my first Shaman(Alpha",Graham stared at her in amazement and said slowely,"Y..you want m..me to be your f..first Shaman(Alpha)!" "Why yes dear Graham,I see something in you that makes you amazing, your not like the other monkeys I've seen.Your special Graham and I like that about you." Graham then whispers,"Thank you Mother of Jamaa, the Great Mira!" Mira lets out a soft chuckle and pulls out a small key from her wing and hands it to Graham saying,"Graham I entrust you with this key to my statue. With it you can go inside a special room under the floor of Jamaa. It is a special room where only Shamans(Alphas) can go in,do not be worried if you cannot find a keyhole each Shaman(Alpha) will have a special key that matches their personality.I understand that it will be lonely at first but I will appoint another Shaman(Alpha) to keep you company and watch over Jamaa with us." Graham nodded with aww and took the key slowly."You may go if you like Graham." Mira says,Graham nodds slowly and walks out putting the statue key on his tail as he makes his was back to his cart.

  43. Graham was young, naive as well. He was too curious for his own good. Mira and Liza cautioned him against the dangers of the Phantom Mountain, but he didn't listen. He wanted the precious metal that was rumoured to be at Phantom Mountain. The metal was of power, and it harbored many secrets.
Graham ventured too near the mountain, and was injured in a incident. But, he learned much from his little visit to the mountain, not to mention he had managed to retrieve just a bit of the precious metal.
The only thing that could be created from such a tiny chunk of metal was a key. Graham created the key known as The Gatemaster in the shaman/alpha world.
Graham was appointed Gatekeeper after his brave but foolhardy journey to the Phantom Mountain. The key would open the gates of the Zios Temple, allowing animals to worship the fallen god. The key could open any door in Jamaa, as the metal had the power to open and close any door, any lock.
Although no other animal has ever touched Graham's key, much less used it- Graham tells the story of his adventure every winter. He keeps the key as a reminder of what too much curiosity could consequence in. He even has the scars to prove it.

  44. It was a peaceful day in jamaa, the shamens were getting ready to explore new lands. All the Shamens were getting ready, but all of a sudden, phantoms appeared, and Jamaa was surrounded by them! One of the phantoms was holding a
key, an ancient key that can open secret doors.

The Shamens were fighting hard, trying to defeat the phantoms, but then, Graham, swinging vine to vine, surprising the phantoms and defeating them. Once all the phantoms were defeated, the ancient key was floating in the air, waiting for someone to grab it. None of the Shamens went near it, but Graham stood up and touched the key.

The key was held in his hand, and the other Shamens came toward him, and gave him a great big hug. Graham knew the key was now his, and he decided to call it: The Secret Key. Graham was also in a strange place that he didn't know, and decided to call it: The Temple Of Zios.

When all the shemns went adventuring, they found places with the key that Graham had, and Graham would always find it on his tail.

  48. Before the Phantoms had attacked Jamaa Mira and Zios, could tell that something evil and horrible was going to happen, and that Jamaa would be possibly unsafe for a period of time. Sensing this and realizing that all the animals may be in danger, Mira decided to make several secret and tightly locked rooms throughout Jamaa, so when the time came all the animals could go to the safety of the rooms until the threat was over. She traveled throughout the beautiful land she and Zios created and created each room. By the time the threat was near and everyone realized Phantoms were on their way, Mira and Zios knew they were going to be in the war. The key she made to unlock all the rooms would not be able to be used if she was far away from Jamaa battling Phantoms, and she knew she couldn’t give it to any animals, for if that one animal was captured by Phantoms, or anything else happened to it then all the other animals of Jamaa would be in danger… So here comes in the Shamas! Peck was loud, and Mira was nervous she would tell others of the key. Greely was so secretive, and some other Shamas did not trust him, so Zios said that may be unsafe for Greely and other Shamas. They went through each Shama until they finally came across Graham. He was quiet, but not too quiet for anyone to grow suspicious of him, and he was one of the smartest Shamas of them all, and when he had it, it wouldn’t look odd, since Graham is always making new items… After some consideration Zios and Mira agreed that Graham should take the key and watch over it for all of Jamaa. Even though Mira and Zios knew that the Shamas were going to have to fight as well, they knew they would return to Jamaa, and that they could still protect it if Phantoms returned.
Some areas that look like they could be the secret rooms, is the door in Temple of Zios, to the left of the river. Another one, located in Jamaa Township, is the Small Bamboo trail and the buildings that stretch along the top/middle of Jamma Township. The Trail is next to the larger Bamboo Trail that leads to Saperia Forest. One more likely spot is in Mt Shiver! Many of us know about the Ice Carving of the seal next to the slides. Along that chunk of ice is cracks, leading into shadows! This looks like a cave blocked by the ice…

The shamans had secrets, as we all know. Items, as their secrets. Peck had a journal, Greely had a sword, which was very important to him, (it was from his first battle), and all the other shamans had items they loved too. But they knew, once they died every item they owned would be put into a muesuem. They wouldn't want their items to go to that terrible fate.
"We must hide the things we love." Peck said. She wouldn't want anyone reading her journal. Graham smiled. "I'll build a cave with a key to it. I'll protect the key with my life, I promise." Graham promised, and shortly after he built a strong, bulky cave that wouldnt collapse even if the strongest healthiest phantom zapped it.
Shortly after that, they all put some of their precious items (like Peck's journal) in the strong cave. Graham slightly pitied them for having such a strong relationship with...An item! If you didnt know, Graham had a little crush on Peck, and he opened up the cave. Greely was watching him, about to talk to him. "What?' Greely asked himself. He followed Graham. Then, he told Sir Gilbert about it. Peck was nearly in tears when she found out. "I'll do something that I will regret." Once they found Graham, they told him. "We thought we could trust you!" Peck wailed. "I dont want to carry around a dinky key all my life, but you are willing to." Graham looked worried. "As a punishment, I will permamently stick this key to your tail!" Grahahm widened his eyes. They used gooey, hot phantom goop to mold it into his tail. It didnt hurt, it was rather soothing feeling to Graham. He accepted his punishment, and the key stuck to his tail ever since.

    3. Sorry, but I didn't get this part:
If you didnt know, Graham had a little crush on Peck, and he opened up the cave. Greely was watching him, about to talk to him. "What?' Greely asked himself. He followed Graham. Then, he told Sir Gilbert about it. Peck was nearly in tears when she found out. "I'll do something that I will regret." Once they found Graham, they told him. "We thought we could trust you!" Mostly this part but the rest kind of depended on it:
Peck was nearly in tears when she found out. "I'll do something that I will regret." Once they found Graham, they told him. "We thought we could trust you!" Peck wailed. "I dont want to carry around a dinky key all my life, but you are willing to." Graham looked worried. "As a punishment, I will permamently stick this key to your tail!" Grahahm widened his eyes. They used gooey, hot phantom goop to mold it into his tail.

So.. I'm not calling it bad but.. it was really, really confusing to me.

Was it confusing to anybody else?

    *Before Graham was a shaman*
Graham and his friends were out in Jamaa Township, they were playing in peace and harmony, and they were curious indeed. Graham got lost in what is now the lost temple of zios, and an invitation to the chamber in the ground, was a shiny key. So Graham went in and opened many doors, all was unique. He went again the next day, and it paid off. He turned wise after months, and Mira appeared. Graham spotted the strange heron, and soon after that he was made a shaman. He always keeps the key on his tail to remember the days of the past.

  73. 1. What is this mysterious item called? This "key" would probably be known as "the key of Jamaa".

    2. How, when, and where did Graham acquire it? Graham found his key when he was on his way to The New Land (Jamaa). Mira and Zios' spirits created a force that guided he and the alphas to the borders of Jamaa. There, Graham found the key hanging off a branch of a juniper tree. He decided to keep "the key of Jamaa".

    3. And perhaps the most important, what does his key open?
Graham found that his unique and special key opens many locks, maybe all of Jamaa's padlocks. The first and most important door to lock was the basement of the Chamber of Knowledge, for the phantoms became locked there.

  75. here my story

Once long ago, when the wrath of the phantoms was taking place, Mira, the queen of jamaa, game Graham a key to a secret pathway that only the Alphas knew about. he never opened it in time. the phantoms threw dark magic all over the pathway! nobody can venture there besides mira. hopefully shes brave enough to go down there. if not, who will? mira disappeared into the dark shadows of the phantom king's castle. she never returned... but that doesnt mean shes dead! no one knows besides me, a fellow jammer, happily gracing along the worlds. im usually in the forest or appondale. i like my privacy so i rarely expose myself to jamaa. my user is updog. im the leader of the Dark Meadow Clan. if you dont believe me than oh well, suite yourself!

  79. Grahm uses this key to unlock a hidden passage where all the alphas meet. If he ever were to lose this key, I think the phantoms would win the war. Oh no! This key is special to him because he found it when he his girlfriend a long time ago gave it to him. She said "This key is the key to our hearts. We must never lose it." She knew he was going to be an alpha and he would be gone for long periods of time, so she said to hold on to it as if it were you're child. Sadly, I think his girlfriend died. He uses to key as a rememberance of her. :-(

  80. i've noticed the key, just didn't take any thought into it. it definitely opens something and, who knows, it might become a BETA adventure one day! or maybe its the very last challenge...? in the Temple of Zioz have you noticed that door beside the phantom door? maybe it opens that, no one has been in there after all

  81. Heres my story: Long ago Mira told Graham to go find some animals that could live in Jamaa. When he set out on his adventure, a cool breeze filled the air. But the breeze was soon ruined by the smell of smoke. Graham turned around and looked at Sarepia Forest. There was a forest fire! "Phantoms," muttered Graham. He raced back and saw a phantom pick up Greely. "Don't tell ANYONE about this!" growled the phantom. "I....I won't...." said Greely. The phantom held up two keys. "Destroy the phantoms," said the phantom "I'm on your side." He dropped one key onto the ground. The phantom held up a box. "I will hide this box in the phantom hive. It holds an old book on the phantoms' greatest weaknesses." he said. "When you want to look at it, tell everyone your going to study the phantoms." Graham gasp in disbelief. Would Greely really LIE? And was a phantom really on Jamaa's side? The phantom disappeared into the shadows. Greely walked off with the key. Graham slowly walked out of the bushes. He looked at where the key had been dropped. "Hmm...." thought Graham. He went to his lab. The door to his lab was the one in the Chamber of Knowledge that no jammer can open. He made a copy of the key and kept it in his lab, for he was afraid if he put it somewhere else, the phantoms would find it and destroy the old book so no one could ever read it. But a phantom already had a key!! What if he destroyed the book or there was no book at all, and it was a trap for Greely!! Graham had a big lab. It was so big it was underneath the Zios statue and other things. Graham locked the door and tied the key to his tail and fell asleep under the Zios statue for 5 years. When he woke up, he unlocked the door to get out, and then locked it again, keeping the key on his tail. Liza was crying in the middle of the Temple of Zios. "What's wrong?" cried Graham as he raced toward her. "Greely went out on mission and hasn't returned! Everyone thinks he is dead!" replied Liza. "It was a trap!!!" yelled Graham. "I knew Greely should not have trusted a phantom!" "HE DID WHAT!" exclaimed Liza. "Uh oh!" said Graham. So he kept the key to his lab on his tail so he would not forget where he put it or loose it, so the key to the box would be safe, in case there was a old book in it. The End

  82. Heres ar story I thought of: One day Peck was at an Alpha meeting, which today, was in Cosmo's den. As she was bounding in, Sir Gilbert had left the trapdoor which the phantoms were kept in open, and Peck fell in. "Help!!" called Peck. A phantom was standing face to face with her. The phantom hypnotized her and lifted her out of the hole. "Go get the key!" said the phantom. "No!" screamed Peck. But she couldn't control herself! She was slowly walking toward the key. She was back at the door, holding the key. As she uncontrollably dropped the key, she whispered, "No......". Graham and the other Alphas were racing toward her. Peck finally broke the hypnoses. "Peck! What have you done!" cried Greely. "I-" Peck started. "Let's punish her!" yelled Greely. "I say we do that!" yelled the phantom as he crawled out of the room. Greely gave Graham a lock and told him to snap it through her ear, so it looked like a earring. "Ok?" said Graham. He went up to her to do it, but here came Mira. "We do not punish ANYONE in Jamaa!" she yelled as she came down the stairs. The phantom went up and quickly pushed Graham, and ran out the door. When Graham was pushed, he accidentally locked the lock on Peck's ear. Peck SCREAMED. "Was that on purpose????" asked Peck. "No! It wasn't-" but before he could finish, you could see Mira's eyes light up. The tears and madness was taking her over again! She said, " Oh, I will show you punish!" She didn't want to, but she couldn't control it. She used magic to permanently put the key to the lock on Graham's tail. She told them to tell nobody what the key was for, and for Peck to tell everyone it an earring. Mira got control though, and it's been fine ever sense . The End -snowyowls2313
