Hey jammers! Today's item is another for the Fantasy Castle Den series - the Fancy Bouquet! Not a big fan of it myself. . .
. . . but I'm sure it looks wonderful. Also, I have a little thing for jamaasian discussion today. When you first join Animal Jam you meet the spirit of Liza and she says this to you -
Well, there appears to be two big lies in that statement. One, we never learn about Mira, and two, we don't have any travels. When I say travels, I'm actually referring to journeys or quests, but not like the Journey Book we know today. I found this interesting clip of an old article, click here to read the whole thing.
Isn't that strange? This appears to be AJHQ's original goal for Jamaa, they were going to take the road less traveled by, but instead lost focus and took the well worn road of ease and profit. During Animal Jam's beta there happened to be a book much like our Journey Book, as well as the achievements, trophy, both of which seemed to be coming later in the game.
Instead Achievements came but the book disappeared for a long time. It came back to Jamaa as the Journey Book.
I feel that Animal Jam has really lost it's natural goal since beta. What do you think the creators intended with that first book? What would the quests have been like? Which book would you rather have in Jamaa? I hope you have some ideas!

I rember the silver achivements but i forgot what that book was.I belevie that book should be myths of jamma that other jammers send it to AJHQ.It would be really cool to here other peoples thoughts of what they think, but of course Animal Jam doesnt even TRY to keep the spirit of Animal Jam up, and snowy have you sent a message to AJHQ about how we have no spirit of jamma left?

Um, a lot of people keep asking me this but, I have a really bad memory. I think the silver book was to write to animal jam and tell them things that didn't seem right about animal jam or did seem right, and tell them new ideas.

DeleteIk! There is no such thing as peaceful AJ now! I was walking along, and I spotted this girl sitting down. YOu know what? A crocodile (this is on aj) came up and said, "Bites wolf's head off." And then he laughed. It's not that big a deal, but it's annoying! The girl wolf looked so peaceful just sitting there and then suddenly...surely you get the point.

And AJ is saying they want to hear our ideas, and we should make changes. But they seem to have forgotten. Togther, we might make them relize. But what they need to see is how stupid they are.

I agree with all of u! I wish I could play that game, because aj today isn't even NEAR that. Scammers are everywhere ruining the fun, No shamans or culture, ruining the spirit. Now all aj is is trading and scamming and hacking!!!! -sigh- I wish aj would actually DO something about this.

ReplyDeleteI know beta was to test the game, but AJHQ should bring back beta! It was all cultural, and there was no bullying, dating, hacking, or scamming, which is taking over Jamaa today. And there was nobhacking or scamming because there were no rares. If AJHQ was fighting to stop, then they should bring back beta. I mean, Animal Jam has kind of turned human ever since after beta. I never was in beta, but from watching videos on youtube, it was always peaceful, and the dens wer basically what stoo out to me.
ReplyDeleteLoOk at the dens now. Castles, restaurants and water parks! The only really Jamaasian dens are tree house and volcano. Back in beta the dens were huge, and everything you could put in it had something to do with Jamaa's culture. Also from reading an old blog, a blogger posted that he was revolted when he saw Beta was gone, that instead of his giant den, there was a small HOUSE. That lots of stuff sold during beta was gone. I think AJHQ should just bring back beta.
Yes. I remember beta. It's kind of foggy for me, but only a few things were member items, the non- members got a awesome den. I remember the day when all that changed. The non member dens became really small, and all my non member stuff suddenly became member. It was like AJ had suddenly gone prejudice on non members.

There were members in beta. But they didn't get much more than us non members. A few clothing and mabye den items, but that was it.
DeleteI'm sorry to say this, but they will never ever bring back beta testing. They could bring back some elements of it but stop saying bring back beta because it will never happen. What we can do is try and make Animal jam the best game it can be. A cultural, fun one.
DeleteIf they bring back beta elements I doubt that hacking, scamming, dating, and bullying will stop. In club penguin there are rare items too. It's not just AJ. The only reason there was no scamming was becuz there was no rates since AJ just started.

purrsonally, i think aj should take the harder road, it would be a lot more profitable for them, since more people would play a highly cultural and developed game and enjoy it.

the original 4 places in aj since beta: sarepia forest, crystal sands, jamaa township, and the temple of zios all have or used to have very jamaasian features.
for example: the Township- giant Mira statue
the Forest- interactive campfire (mira pops out)
the Temple- zios statue
crystal sands- i believe the old tiger statue was very cultural and jamaasian, but depends on what you all think.
Well here's this: what if spirit stones are hidden in such places?
That would be awesome. And wouldnt it be cool if once we find them the place retuns back as it was in beta?

ReplyDeleteAs come out of the shadows I find a great majestic my paw to touch it, but as soon as it feels the cold stone a voice rings out. "Hello young one." I gasp and step back from the statue I tun my head to find a panda.
I hesitate, "Um, hello." She laughs a lilting, soft laugh. Then she says
"Do not be afraid. I am Liza the Panda shaman." She annouces with a clear voice. My voice quivers
"Whats a 'shaman'?" She explains to me that shamans are guides to Jammasians such as me. Then she takes out a brown book and gives it to me. She says
"This is your shaman book everytime to see a shaman for the first time he gives you a card of facts and history about him or her. You place the last card on the last page gives you a prize."
"Cool!"
"But remember young wolf. The pize is in the fun of meeting the other shamans or guides."
"I'll remember!"
"But I have a quiestion?"
"Yes?"
"Who is that?" I point o the statue of the great heron.
She laughs her lilting laugh again. "That is Mira."
"'Mira?'"
"Yes." She tells me a story to me about her histroy and how Jamaa was made. Zios and phantoms. And I listen to every word. "Any more questions Flora?"
"No Liza thank you!" I run off to find adventure and the shamans." Liza screams to me somthing I cannot understand so I run back. "What was that Liza?"
"Be ware of the phantoms and here." She gives me my first card for my shaman book.
"Thank you." I smile.
I run off again and she waves a fair well.
Epiloge:
I meet many new friends and we find all of the shamans to geher. We even manage to talk to Mira and she gives us advisefor our travels and the last card.

ReplyDeleteMost likely, the book recorded what you've done, where you left off, your next quest, etc. Or it might have been a book that records the ancient history of Jamaa.. discovered spirit stones and stuff. WAIT. It is probably a combo of both! Now that'd be cool.
Obviously, I would have preferred the silver book... Journey Book is a bit too ez.

Baroness Spiritwolf quickly moved through the Temple of Zios, jumping into every bush she could see. Her eyes where glued to the door, where the phantoms where keeping Graham hostage. But how would she get there?
At either side a phantom was guarding the door, and just about everywhere there was another phantom. //Hmm, how about some ninja action?// She nodded to herself and took off, bowling down the first phantom. Spiritwolf attacked the other phantom, swift and quietly, so it wouldn't let out an alarm call. She scanned the brick wall and spotted a loose brick. //There we go...// She rose her paw to push down on the brick, and the great hunk of a door rose and she dashed inside.
Inside, there was ancient artifacts and a bunch of stuff from the Shamans and the phantoms. Stealthily she stalked through the room, scanning each area for Grahamn. "Darn, they have a great security system,"she muttered to herself. But she HAD to save Graham, one way or another. //Where is Mira?! Or Zios?! I could really use there help!// [[ Most of the quests took place before Zios died. The final quest is Zios dying, and Mira cries so much that an army of phantoms appear and you and the Shamans must defeat the phantoms. In the end you defeat them, recover a spiritstone, and become a shaman of that spiritstone. ]] She bared her teeth as she remembered Graham urgently talking to her of a great danger coming to Zios... but he had never told her what WAS the great danger to Zios.
Tired of the stealth plan, she let out an uncontrollably load battle shriek as she jumped onto the phantoms. The phantoms just turned to a dark mist and disappeared, but more kept on coming out of nowhere. As quickly as she started the battle, she tore through the phantoms, to the next door. She heard a voice yowl, "Spiritwolf!" It was Graham!
"Graham! I'm coming!!" She headed straight in direction of the voice and came to a heavily barred cage. The key was not in sight. "Where is Mira when I need her?!"she yowled as Spiritwolf turned around to fight off several phantoms. "Well, Graham, while I'm fighting this phantoms, can you tell me the rest of the story?" Graham just nodded.
"Zios is in great danger! The phantoms are plotting to attack him and KILL him! It will be an ambush.. Zios doesn't know that his Temple is controlled by phantoms!" She gasped, not just cause of what Graham had said, but that he saw the key. He jumped on that phantom and tugged the key from it, and ran back to the cage and unlocked it.
"Let's go!! Hurry!" They ran out of the Chamber of Knowledge back to the main Temple of Zios, preparing for the final battle.

Woah, I really want to have quests!Besides I think AJ made the game humanoid cuz the little kids wouldn't like violent quests like that. I mean, why have quests if the smaller jammers will dislike a game they made for all ages.But I wish they made it for ages 9 and up, I hate those games saying corny words and corny content. I AM Ｄｅｐｒｉｖｅｄ of quests!!!

You know how you read at the end of the phantoms story that were the only ones to save jamaa? And by we I meant every single jammer. Well, maybe that's why they do this. Maybe that IS our goal. If we're soppossed to uncover the stories, then why don't we? It's not ajs decision, I realized its every single jammers quest. Maybe this was meant to come, modern taking over. Shamans disappearing, spirit stones disappearing. Maybe, maybe it's soppossed to happen. Maybe we are soppossed to uncover every shaman that hasn't been named 's story. Maybe that's why aj do it. Maybe what they said is true.. Maybe it's our goal to uncover who they are. Please reply saying if you think I'm right or not.

I personally don't think you are right... regardless of how much I do wish that could be the case. Because that just means making up our own stories. There isn't any words that would trigger a shaman to appear and to shove the modernness down. The only thing we can do, really, is ask the HQ and try our best to make a difference...
DeleteI think the silver book should've been pages and facts about each and every Shaman and little stories along with it. And lands including! Then everyone would know of how Jamaa was REALLY created and what personality each Shaman has! Shouldn't AJ HQ hear this?

when your earning gems you really want that new den or something, they give you facts in between and how often do we accualy read them admit it you dont even know one by heart i know i don't i've learrned facts in trivia but i barely play it and i memerized them ( thats probley the most factful part of animaljam

So i think there should be more games like trivia maybe a spelling bee since there is a geo. bee hmm that would be good.. and do you think animaljam knows jammers figured out glitches would they easily press a button to turn glitching off? or is it accualy a glitch hmmm ... they should have a daily pole you can answer the poll honestly and win gems then they can put that in and have a char like questions like whats your favorite pet and whats your least? and would foxes be a good animal ? what do you think rare monday is going to be? your favorite game ? those sound cool and earning like 30 gems a day for answering a pole cool and in falling phantoms i saw freedom wings you should/ and i wanted to know their user so bad!!! so i thought if maybe you could talk in falling phantoms epic right right ?? id say hi

I agree,they should make like REAL quest when the shamans help you through adventures.Like you can still socialize,trade,etc... but go on quests as well.On the quests you can also learn about animals and their habitats!When it was beta I really thought the Journey Book was going to supply all the real quests...-__-

The point of the quest parts, it will be later in the game like Liza said. I trust all the shamans, and I well never ever think they will lie. If you don't believe that...I don't know what your thinking and what your saying, CAUSE YOUR CRAZY! (No offense...) What she said, I believe in that. There is a quest going on right now: donating gems for endangered animals. That is a quest, and were close to putting monkeys back in the animal cycles of Jamaa. There's a quest. Liza's saying was true...and don't tell me its wrong. The other lie..which was TRUE...I've learned about Mira. She is the sky mother, and her creator is Zios...the sky father. Mira is a great blue heron, and is heard to be the queen of Jamaa. She is also a spirit. Her statcue brings back many memories of Mira...and the firepit in Sarepia forest...when you dance, her firey, but sweet soul stands in the fire brushing it's wings against the airs of Jamaa.
ReplyDeleteAnd how non members were created, the phantoms did something horribly wrong with Jamaa in beta times...when it was a dark...foggy night of Wensday, the phantoms swooped down in some of the dens of jammers and magicly with a little shock...their nametags changed from gold, to blue. The phantoms took all the member stuff, and replaced ALL the dens in Jamaa to a small den, like we have today. Since then, non members have been roaming Jamaa.

ReplyDeleteQuests, they would make Jamaa a real, very fun game, but why in this world did AJHQ run away from the idea of The Shamans, learning about Mira, actually TRAVELING, and quests? I would find Animal Jam more creative if it had all that awesomness... Really AJHQ please save Jamaa's imaginative, creative ways, culture, history, and legends!
