Every other week.
Ehehehehheheeee
Haaaaayyy jammers! Bonsaii here, with the next Rarity Ratings! Today's is about a popular nonmember item, the Pirate Sword! The Pirate Sword was said to have been seen in beta times, but is still a bit of a Jamaa mystery. It was reintroduced back around April 2012 (click here to see the post), but only existed in four colors.
Despite being nonmember, this was simply the normal sword. It became members-only after beta ended. |
The Pirate Sword is often confused with its member version, the normal member Sword. Even AJHQ had a hard time identifying exactly where the sword originally came from back in 2012.
Click here to hear their early responses to the inquiries about the item!
You can tell them apart by the obvious member icon, or the slightly lighter complexion that Pirate Swords have!

Don't be fooled by scammers!

All versions of the pirate sword are fairly equal in numbers, but of course, different jammers have different opinions on their rarities. It's a topic surrounded by debate and disagreement. And unicorns. Blue, black, red and brown ones are valued the highest, due to many people loving the colors. Purple, green and pink pirate swords are shoved aside, as they don't have the most desirable color combo.
Getting a Pirate Sword
There are many ways to get a Pirate Sword. Let's start with the most common: trading. You can expect a ratio of 1 Worn Blanket : 2 Pirate Swords. Pirate Swords can also be traded for other rares, like RC Cars. However, Pirate Swords are one of the most common rares, so you'll have to trade quite a few for higher ranking rares. Two or more popular RIMs should be enough if you are searching for one.
You can also get Pirate Swords in adventures, most notably The Forgotten Desert.
Pirate Swords are difficult to obtain in Sky High, but this was the place in which AJHQ reintroduced them into the rare economy (click here to check out that old post).

And we shall close this Rarity Ratings with a gif.
