I love the black bottom with the blue shell and matching eyes, then with a pretty white spiral pattern (2nd pattern). Check below the break for more tips and outfits!
For making a nice underwater outfit, I suggest using colors that you would find under the sea, such as coral pink, dark blue, light blue, green, maybe some yellow, etc. Here is an outfit I made with some of those colors
A very simple outfit, with a medium green base, light blue bottom, and coral/medium pink 1st swirls. And when you're making outfits for dolphins, sharks, seals, etc, maybe the outfit does not have to be completely put together and completely matchy-matchy. But...... don't go over board like I did in this outfit:
As you can probably see, nothing matches, there are no reds, whites, blues, or pinks on the dolphin that would blend everything together nicely. Instead, there is a green base, black bottom, and yellow 1st swirls..... Maybe not the best outfit choice.

I really like the color choice for this one. The shades of blue she/he chose are very clever, and look nice in the ocean.

This is a cool outfit. I like the white base with the two matching pink items (baseball cap and flower necklace) with the pink nose, then with the stand-out green eyes. Love it.
